This modern cabin is located in the Semmering UNESCO world heritage area of Semmering. The first mountain railway in the world was built 1854 and is still in service. You have stunning views from the house, constantly you can observe the changing moods of nature and see how light is sculpting the rocks and ridges of the Atlitzgraben. At our location Almwiese there are 2 cabins about 5 minutes' walk from each other. Each of the two cabins nestles into its own cozy corner of the expansive meadow. Your gaze drifts over lush green fields, picturesque alpine pastures down to small villages. Surrounded by a forest, you may spot deer, squirrels, or wild hares during a walk. From time to time, Japanese cattle graze in a pasture belonging to the neighboring farm.
