You can swim, try stand-up paddling or just enjoy the landscape after your bike tour or after having explored Kassel.

It is within walking distance of Lake Edersee and the forests of the Kellerwald National Park high above the lake in Edertal-Bringhausen. The light accompanies you throughout the day. In the morning it greets you in the conservatory, wanders around the house during the day until you enjoy the last rays of sunshine on the terrace in the evening with a good meal and a glass of wine.

A place for a particularly sustainable stay and vacation: You rent the upper floor in a house about 100 years old, which was completely renovated after a long vacancy. Travel by train and use the bikes you brought or the existing ones (good transport connections also by car). Please inform yourself on the Internet about the water level of the lake, the amount of water changes!!! The tranquility invites you to experience pure nature. Your studio stands out for itself, only an internal staircase we share. The whole environment is a dream for hiking, marveling at heaven, and dreaming.

With private jetty! Vacation apartment cabin

Beautifully located apartment right on the water. Our lovingly furnished apartment is located on the ground floor of a half-timbered house in Guxhagen, which was renovated in 2017. The house has a plot on the Fulda with a jetty, which is located opposite the house, on the other side of the R1 cycle path. Before the construction of the Fulda bridge, our house was the old ferry house of Guxhagen. Boats and bikes are available to our guests.

Both cities can be reached in a 30-minute drive. Bikers are also welcome. There is ample space for horses or motorcycles/bicycles.

The apartment is located on the 1st floor and is fully equipped. It has a bright living room with large double bed and flat screen TV, a balcony facing the south side of the lake, a newly renovated bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as an open kitchen with dishwasher and dining area. Towels and bed linen are included. The beds are already made when you arrive, so you can start your vacation right away.

Historic half-timbered house

The guest apartment is located on the ground floor of a listed half-timbered house, the former Obermühle in Kaufungen. The house is quietly located in the old town center on the river "Losse" , directly on the hiking trails of the Kaufung Forest and below the collegiate church. It is a 5-minute walk to the shops and practices of the town center, and it takes about 10 minutes to get to the tram.
