In the summer, you can enjoy a swim in the lake before breakfast, if you wish. Only a stone’s throw away from the world-famous Glienicke Bridge. For decades during the Cold War, the bridge was the place where spies were exchanged.

From there, you have excellent access to the S-Bahn and U-Bahn. Alexanderplatz is only about 12 minutes away by S-Bahn. Friedrichstraße, the main train station, and many sights are also directly along the route. Supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants are all nearby — ideal for exploring Berlin comfortably and with ease.

We love contrasts - In Schloss Lanke, we rent a spacious 100 sqm loft in the attic. A castle loft. French Neo-Renaissance on the outside, subtle minimalism on the inside. Urban living comfort meets the lush nature of the Barnim Nature Park. Both together create the perfect setting for rest, relaxation and deceleration. In addition to vacation rentals, Schloss Lanke also houses the owners' apartments as well as office space on the first floor. We respect our privacy.

It also has large cabinet space, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine, dining table. It can accommodate up to 3 adults and one child/infant (a child up to 9 years on a sofa bed and/or an infant in an extra cot).

Cycling, hiking, swimming in the Schorfheide biosphere reserve - in spring and autumn watch the impressive spectacle of the cranes - vacation not far from Berlin (1h) - receive special excursion tips and tour suggestions from the hostess - have special wishes fulfilled (welcome package in the refrigerator, flowers as a welcome, recommendations for events nearby and much more) The cottage is only 600 meters from the train station. Very nice apartment with two rooms, each equipped with a double bed in the house on a large 3-sided courtyard with garden directly on the lake in the Schorfheide-Chorin biosphere reserve, 70 km north of Berlin. All land lovers are welcome.
