Enjoy the tranquility of nature in the cozy old building apartment in a former mountain inn in the Southern Black Forest Biosphere Reserve. Look through the large window front at the sea of clouds over the Rhine valley to the Alps and start fantastic hikes right outside the door. In summer, the high swimming pool (150 m) beckons. In the art city of Basel, you can reach it in 45 minutes by S-Bahn or car. In winter, there are cross-country ski trails (15 minutes) and ski slopes (30 minutes) in the immediate vicinity.

The area is ideal for hiking, biking or relaxing in nature. The apartment is part of a small farm (Icelandic horses and sheep) about 4km outside of Gersbach in the south of the Black Forest. Close to heaven, the view far In the southern Black Forest

The resort for nature lovers is located in the middle of the Southern Black Forest Biosphere Reserve. Above the cloud sea of the Rhine plain stands our beautiful forest house. Start your hikes right outside the door on the Westweg, or mountain bike tour through the Black Forest. Take the S-Bahn (8 min by car) in 30min. To Basel, France is 45 minutes away, Freiburg an hour. Feldberg 45 minutes. Attention: Swimming pool Schweigmatt only for club members.

Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesen Valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to three guests a cozy stay. The border triangle allows a variety of cultural and sporting leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

Alte Färberei Entire place

The old dyeing plant, a 19th-century factory, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and medical practices, guest rooms were built under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building structure a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building envelope and reuse renovated components in other contexts. New components were left in their natural state.

Beautiful, quiet apartment with patio and shared garden, with private entrance. Located quietly but quite centrally. It is only a 7-minute walk to S-Bahn 6 to Basel, and 150 m to the nearest supermarket. Downtown Schopfheim is approx. 1 km. If you feel comfortable in a medieval small town with beautiful shops and restaurants, and want to visit Basel and the Black Forest, you are in good hands here. The Wiese river is 100 m to the west.
