Very nice apartment, great location, very hospitable. A few steps to the beach, beach bar, restaurants.

Absolutely recommended! Penelopi and her husband are excellent hosts who welcomed us with cordiality and hospitality. The Apple Apartment is beautiful, well equipped and very well maintained. Numerous trees and plants surround the cozy terrace. The place is very quiet and you can reach the beach of Koutsounari in a few minutes. The town of Ierapetra is minutes away by car. The interior is also very well maintained and the furnishings are in the typical Greek style. We were here for the second time and would come back again and again. We've received recommendations for beaches and attractions that almost only locals know about. We look forward to the next time we see Penelopi, Nikos, Sissi and Dobby again 😇😍

My stay at the beach house in Pachia Ammos felt like stepping into a quiet dream. The house was just as shown in the pictures — and somehow even more beautiful, embraced by the serene rhythm of the sea and the gentle charm of a peaceful neighborhood. Each morning, I woke to the whisper of waves and a view so breathtaking it felt like time stood still. The warmth of the locals made the experience even richer, and our host Marilou was the soul of it all — gracious, generous, and sincerely kind. I left a part of my heart by the shore, and I know I’ll return someday

the place is very good for 1 or 2 people maximum (can be with a baby) with its small private terrace overlooking the sea, everything works well (wifi and air conditioning), Maria is very responsive to messages and the instructions are very clear. the village of Cholmos is very pretty. I therefore recommend this apartment and this village! just the hot water is not very hot but when it's 30 degrees outside it's okay and not a lot of pressure.

Huge thanks to my hosts Nikoleta and Alexis! I loved staying at their gorgeous "landscape" apartment -- the photos don't do it justice! It's super peaceful and serene, with lovely views and landscaping and Alexis' art, plus some adorable visiting cats and a wonderful shady secluded area to sit outside. I arrived rather late (c 8 pm) but Nikoleta had been very proactively communicative and ensured I had perfect directions to the place. She was waiting there when I arrived and not only welcomed me warmly but also went far above and beyond, even offering me a bite to eat which Alexis kindly and deliciously prepared. They thought of everything and left so much food and so many supplies for me, even full breakfast supplies, very effective mosquito repellant and all toiletries/linens/etc. I fell in love with the place and the vibe, and especially appreciated being able to walk in less than five minutes down to the Knossos site when it opened at 8. Ten stars, I hope to stay again for longer!

This property is on the top of our list of all of the Super-host level properties we’ve been at whether Air B&B or any other platform. Premium quality and high marks for design aesthetics promoting maximum relaxation inside or in the yard with breathtaking views all day long and spectacular sunsets. All meals at the property must be had out doors! It was a perfect retreat after long days of sightseeing. We would rent it again in a heartbeat and will recommend it to family. John & Autumn

The villa is amazing, great views, very quiet (alongside a road but very little traffic) and the place was spotless. Beds and furniture all very comfortable. We were there for two weeks and linen/towels were changed mid holiday. Pool towels also provided. An amazing outdoor area, with table, well equipped outdoor kitchen, plenty of sunbeds and shade if needed. Quite honestly couldn't have asked for more. If we ever go back to Crete we would definitely stay here again ......... and a special thanks to Sophie who met us with the keys on arrival and was there on our departure.

This is our second time in Mochlos, we love it and Popi's apartment is perfect to relax and enjoy the views and surroundings. I can highly recommend it, we hope to stay again in the future.

Poppy and her father were very friendly and one of the best hosts. Poppy's father helped is with the luggage as the apartment is in the 2nd floor without lift. Her father was very friendly and showed us around the apartment. Poppy was very responsive and proactive, also provided us with little snacks and Crete sweets/Raki and small gift for my 3yr old.. as a host they were excellent. The apartment is as described and had great views also couple of beaches are walkable. There are also lot of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. This apartment is highly recommended and we would love to come back again. The only negative point is that the bathroom had a strong smell as it was without windows and had an exhaust.. but this should not put you away.

Because of unforeseen circumstances, we only had one day in Crete. This was the perfect place to stay. It was centrally located. It was beautiful and comfortable.

My boyfriend and I spent five nights here for my 22nd birthday and it did not disappoint. The photos on here do not do the place justice and the local area is just the right amount of quiet busy also with an abundance of restaurants and bars. We didn’t get a hire car as we managed with the local buses as they are so much cheaper and we were able to get to beaches such as Saridari and Paralia Psaromoura, which we would recommend. We also would highly recommend a boat tour to Dia island if you are able too. Restaurant wise in Gournes we cannot recommend Nami Restaurant enough and it is a must! The beach opposite is a lovely shallow beach but we aware it can be quite windy hence why we explored other beaches - would advise if u go to these beaches you leave early (especially if u want a sun lounger)! Very nice accommodation! The interior of the house was very cozy and very cool for the heat of the season. The yard is very boho and everything you need for relaxing with friends in a very quiet neighborhood and if you miss something you can walk 20-30m just across the street where there is a Supermarket (Sklavenitis). Although the house already had everything it needed in terms of essentials. We did not have time to enjoy all the comforts of the house as we only stayed 4 nights and the only thing that made it difficult for us was the otherwise very nice bed on the floor due to the fact that my wife was pregnant. We would definitely choose the accommodation again for family vacations in the future!

Mara's place is a great - clean, stunning view, and very close to town. All good. There are two potential draw backs for senior travellers. First are the steep steps to the apartment - 4 flights which made it difficult to carry heavy luggage. If you are traveling light there is no problem . Second - Street parking is not possible in Agios Nikolas. The closest parking was very affordable, but a one mile walk up a big hill. Otherwise great find if your traveling light and want to be in the middle of Agios Nikolas. We stayed a week. George

We've been to Manos for the 4th time. What do I say? Perfect accommodation right on the sea with a picture book view of the Libyan Sea. The apartment is quietly located far from the tourist hustle and bustle. You can reach cafes and taverns or supermarkets by car in minutes. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired if you want to cook. Manos greeted us as always with raki, fruit and water and juices. A great experience. I'm sure we'll be back.

We had an exceptional stay at Tasos's. The apartment is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos, with breathtaking sea views. The private jacuzzi is a real plus, offering incomparable moments of relaxation. The apartment is perfectly equipped, everything is thought of for your comfort. In addition, you are within 10 minutes' walk of Agia Beach and the best restaurants in the area, ideal for enjoying the area. Tasos is a very attentive and responsive host, who does everything to make your stay absolutely perfect. You can book without so much so so, you won't be disappointed. P.S. Don't forget to feed the little cat in the residence, it's absolutely adorable. 😉

We had an amazing time. Manolis is very helpful and friendly. He gave us some great recommendations of beaches to go to and restaurants. The apartment is in a great location. It has everything you need and is really nicely decorated and very clean. If we end up in Agios Nikolaos again we will definitely stay there again

*A fantastic stay with breathtaking sea views of Crete* My stay in an Airbnb in Crete was simply fantastic! The accommodation offered a spectacular sea view, which made every morning a special experience. The apartment was modern and extremely clean, which immediately ensured well-being. I was particularly impressed by the helpfulness of the owner. At my request, the towels were promptly renewed, and when an unexpected sandstorm arose, he immediately took care of cleaning the accommodation. The location was ideal, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The beaches were breathtaking, and I enjoyed swimming in the crystal clear water. The Go providers on site were extremely helpful and gave me valuable tips that enriched my stay. Communication was uncomplicated as they spoke fluent English. Overall, it was an unforgettable vacation that I can recommend to anyone.
