This brand new chalet is perched above the car free village of MURREN in the Bernese Oberland outside charming Interlaken. The apartment is the lower floor of the chalet with a spacious living/dining room and large windows that look across the spectacular Lauterbrunnen Valley with its 72 waterfalls to the North Face of the Eiger and the Jungfrau Massif. It offers the best view of any chalet rental in Murren. The Master Bedroom has a king bed and 2 walk in closets leading to the bathroom with shower and tub. On the edge of the living room is a queen wall bed, so the apartment comfortably sleeps 4 . The spiffy fully equipped modern kitchen has granite counter tops, dishwasher, 4 burner stove and oven. The fridge has a freezer. There is a bar with bar stools. The chalet has a wood burning stove and radiant floor heating. In the winter it is essentially ski in/ski out offering ski lockers and boot warmers.. You will love this space in the typical charming Swiss village of Murren. We're adjacent to a wildlife preserve, with daily sightings of graceful charming Chamois, so we cannot accommodate dogs or cats. If you want spacious, quiet, private, cozy and spectacular, this place is for you. World famous hiking and skiing are at the doorstep. And a Peace you've never before experienced. After you check in, you'll be welcomed by our wonderful Property Manager Liza who will help you fill out the Kurtaxe form. While we pay the Kurtaxe for you, you need the filled out form in order to pick up the "Kurkarte" ID card at the Sports Center. With this card you can enjoy the free indoor swimming pool/hot tub plus free ice-skating in the winter. You can also benefit from discounts at various stores.

In front of the house there is also a bus stop. The bed in the studio can be reached via a ladder. Such a beautiful and quiet place to stay in. The apt was absolutely charming, comfortable, and spacious! You also get a discount going up a gondola that's right next door! I think my only complaint is that the shower was a little claustrophobic. Could help if there's a glass door rather than a curtain. But other than that, it was an amazing stay!

We had an amazing time in Lauterbrunnen. The place was spotless, and the view was even more stunning in person than in the photos. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We also loved having the TV to unwind with shows and movies. Nicola was very responsive to any questions, which made our stay smooth and stress-free. The hill is a bit of a climb with luggage, but it’s totally worth it for the peace and quiet away from downtown Lauterbrunnen. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing, beautiful getaway!

Maria’s home was a beautiful retreat from the noise of the city. It has an amazing view of the lake that beckons you to spend hours just looking at the horizon.
