It is located on the edge of the Wakenitzniederung Nature and Landscape Protection Area, ideal for 2 to 3 people. It is 12 km to the Baltic Sea (Neustadt), Lübeck 35 km, Kiel 45 km, Hamburg 85 km. Massenat with its lakes and the possibility to rent canoes/kayaks is 15 km away. The nearest regional train is 9 km away. The landscape is hilly. There are many forests, fields and lakes.

Outside is a toilet house with a Finnish compost toilet.

The apartment is located on the 26th floor of the Maritim Hotel in Travemünde and is located directly on the beach.
