This is what holiday dreams under thatched roofs look like: The Frisian cottage "Kliemkiker" was newly built in 2016: 120 square meters of living space for up to 4 people on a nearly 1000 square meter plot with fantastic views, directly on the Wadden Sea National Park. A dog is also very welcome. All North Frisian islands (Sylt, Föhr, Amrum) and Halligen (e.g. Hooge, Gröde, Langeness) as well as the islands of Pellworm and Römö in Denmark are easily reached by car, train or boat as a day trip.

Halmhuset - The Straw House

Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.

Large and spacious country property overlooking Frøslev plantation. This invites you to lovely walks or a ride on the bike - both can be varied in great style in the huge scenic area. The living room also offers great opportunities with its approx. 250 m2 with 3 bedrooms on the 1st floor. There is a bathroom and guest toilet on the ground floor. Located in the border country, there is ample opportunity to dive into history or take a trip to Flensburg.

The garden is over 1000 square meters. There is space to grill, play or unwind. The garden is completely enclosed. Of course, there is also a baby crib in the house. The beach is 15 minutes by car. Experience a great holiday with us! You live in a historic courtyard building with all the amenities. Plenty of space inside the house, in the play barn with theater stage or outside in the park-like garden give you many opportunities for a relaxing holiday in any weather. If you like, please feel free to visit us at our farm with dairy farming. Our farm is about 300 m away and is easily accessible via a footpath.

The thatched roof vacation home is from the 16th century, with a 3000 square meter property. This house has been renovated and equipped with complete underfloor heating. The heater is a modern eco-friendly air-heat pump. There are 6 beds available plus 2 mattresses No bed linens and towels are provided.
