That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Stolpehytta

Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. Here you can find tranquility among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view over the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.

Unique tiny house with panoramic views - "Fjordbris"

Welcome to Fjordbris! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. In 2023 and 2025, the farm shop was named Norway's best farm shop and is a small attraction in itself. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with equally good views.

The Jetty Suite, with Sauna, canoe & add-on spa

Enjoy 50 m2 houseboat with it’s own sauna and panoramic views of the water. Swim directly from the bedroom. You will have a memorable experience because of the views, the beautiful location, the garden, and the jetty with it’s sundeck. Our boat is suitable for couples who like to surprise or celebrate their partner, adventurers who want to get close to the nature and to still be near Stockholm. A canoe is avalible in summertime. We also offer an add-on spa & wood-heated sauna in eveningtime.

Birdbox Lotsbergskaara is located at Lote, in Western Norway, at an elevation of 270 metres above sea level. With one of Norway’s most breathtaking views of fjords and mountains, you’ll experience a true sense of quiet luxury and a calm, relaxing stay. Hytta har privat terasse, 1 bad og 1 soverom + sovesofa i stue med tilsammen 4 sengeplasser. Enjoy the relaxed and comfortable enclosure of the Birdbox. Sleep right beside nature and its amazing surroundings. Lay down and look at the spectacular mountains all around you. Put on your skis and have a breathtaking journey around the nearby trails. Hike down to Langelandsvatnet in the summer and enjoy swimming in energizing water. Your imagination is the limit for what you can experience.

Floating sauna on River Emajõgi

There is no overnight accommodation in winter, only a sauna. After sauna you can cool down in river. Sauna up to eight person. I also rent canoes 30 € per day. There is a gas stove for cooking and 12V and 230V electricity from battery station (1100hW).
