La Fenetre Holiday Cottage

IanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic stay at Tim’s place! The location was perfect – just around the corner from local amenities and right in the heart of town. It was also only about 10 minutes to the forest and around 30 minutes to Whitby, which made day trips really easy. The hot tub was spotless and ready to use as soon as we arrived, and we were greeted with a lovely bottle of Prosecco – such a thoughtful touch. Tim was an incredibly responsive and understanding host throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be back in the future

3 Railway Cottage Pickering , Hot Tub, Pets all'd

AndrewRating, 5 stars2 months ago
3 Railway Cottage is a fantastic base to explore the amazing beauty of North Yorkshire. The cottage is located a 20 minute walk from the centre of Pickering but is in a really quiet and private location. The only exception of course is the opportunity to wave at the heritage railway trains that pass at the back of the cottage a few times a day which is really amazing, especially if you wave from the comfort of the hot tub! I can’t recommend this location highly enough, it is a really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location - what more could you ask for?

Rose Cottage -hot tub, dog friendly, country views

MattRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely relaxing cottage with everything we needed. Very cosy and relaxing setting with great views from back windows. Enclosed garden for dog or children. Hot tub was a great perk which was well used by us. Rillington village within 10 min walk which had a small shop and a nice pub ( the fleece). Tips for other travellers The fleece in rillington has a nice garden of weather nice and the food was nice too and dog friendly Ham and cheese which is a 5 minute drive the food was very good and dog friendly too although probably too far to walk Lots of walks nearby, we went to dalby Forrest, mallyham spout in goathland and Levisham near Pickering New Connie’s Chinese in malton was also very good

We had the most beautiful stay — the cottage was peaceful, private, and instantly felt like home. Everything was spotless and smelt amazing, with such a lovely, calming vibe throughout. The hosts went above and beyond with thoughtful details like fresh eggs in the morning and chocolates waiting for us on arrival. Communication was smooth and friendly from start to finish. You can really feel the care and effort put into every part of the stay. I’d absolutely recommend this place — it’s a little gem, and I’d love to return!

Our stay here was fantastic, Joe was super helpful and great at communicating. The location is ideal with the beach just over the road. Cosy ‘Cobblers Cottage’ - Pickering

Ian Cordon (IanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The peaceful location by the edge of the churchyard in the centre of the town is what makes this place ideal for a visit to Pickering. The cottage is very much as described. The kitchen is well equipped. The shower is excellent, and the heat and hot water are very efficient. I was mildly anxious about parking, but in fact we had no difficulty parking on a quiet street adjacent to the cottage.

In the perfect spot near the harbour, it’s literally steps away from the best spot to watch the sun going down over the beautiful cliffs surrounding a Staithes. The cottage was squeaky clean and had everything we needed for a fab stay. Bed was super comfy and cosy shower was perfect and living room lovely to sit with a glass of wine. We ate in the Cod & Lobster and the Royal George both were great. Lovely cliff walk to Runswick Bay is also recommended. Staithes is a really stunning village and we’ll definitely be back to stay at Saltwater cottage!

The Nook

PaulRating, 5 stars5 days ago
What a great little find! We very much enjoyed its remoteness and being set in woods. The Nook had everything you would want and we loved watching the action on the bird feeders as well as viewing deer, pheasants and owls from the doorstep. From here we were able to explore the moors, the forest and the stunning coastline.
