Secluded quirky cottage “Postbox’ (annex)

RuthRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Clive’s place was great and quirky, with lovely features and amenities. Liked the bee theme! Clive left us tasty bits for breakfast, such as milk, eggs, bacon and bread. Really responsive host and nice area. One thing I’d mention as I don’t think I saw it in other reviews is that the road could occasionally be loud (HGVs driving past doing more than the 30mph limit) so it might be worth bringing earplugs (obviously this is outside host’s control and did not ruin our experience - more of a tip!)
An elegant living area features a classic fireplace with a dark surround. Above the mantel, three round mirrors reflect soft light, while a small pendant light hangs nearby. A vase with greenery is positioned on the hearth, complemented by a vintage trunk in front.

Timeless high street hideaway

MatthewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed at Sophie's house in Hurstpierpoint for 12 nights. The location was great for us as we have relatives near by (we live in Houston, Texas). There are good bus service (s) nearby and a rail station in Hassocks. We did not have a car during our trip but had no difficulty using the bus/taxi's etc. The village has everything you need shopping wise plus some nice pubs and restaurants. Sophie's house has been very well modernized with full size appliances including a large fridge/freezer, fan oven, air fryer, toaster, kettle and microwave. There is also a washer and dryer. Plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, glasses, cooking pots, cooking and eating utensils. Also we appreciated the abundance of electrical points and USB ports. The main bedroom is large and comfortable with lots of closets and storage plus a large supply of hangers. So, in summation, Sophie's property has everything you could possibly need! Thank you Sophie!

Self-contained B&B on S Downs Way near Brighton

KirstyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay at this cozy Airbnb just outside Brighton. From the moment we arrived, our host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. What really impressed us was the thoughtful attention to detail - when the host learned we were vegan, they kindly provided vegan milk and butter along with other lovely amenities. It's rare to find such considerate hospitality that makes you feel truly cared for as a guest. The space itself was beautifully cozy and comfortable, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. The location is ideal too - close enough to Brighton to easily explore the city while offering a peaceful retreat to return to. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming stay with a host who genuinely cares about their guests' experience. We'll definitely be back!

Large house in village centre

Loved our stay in this beautiful family home. Lots of room and great facilities. An umbrella for the outdoor table would have been nice but overall everything was as expected. We would be happy to stay here again.

Country Apartment

A lovely spacious apartment. The bathroom is a bit cosy but it wasn't a problem. very clean with everything we needed for a short stay. Very easy to get to Brighton, the bus stop is two minutes away and takes you right to the centre. The village is very pretty and we had an excellent meal at The Horse Inn. Highly recommended

Beautiful 1 bed cottage set in Sussex countryside

BridieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We absolutely loved staying with Neha and Chris in Henfield. They made us feel really at home and were very happy to help with anything we needed. My partner and I stayed here for just over a month whilst we waited for the birth of my nephew and searched for a place to live down this way. We’re now living in a cozy cottage a couple of roads down and hope to stay in Henfield for a good while, we absolutely love it here. Thank you Neha and Chris!
