Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Saumane-de-Vaucluse

Clothildes place is absolutely beautiful. very spacious, high ceilings, both bedrooms are huge. all decorated it a very tastefully way. we stayed there with our 2 kids, it fits 6 people with a bed in the attic. The village is tiny, there is 1 restaurant 5 min walk from the house which was very good. some of most beautiful towns are 3-20km drive away. the pool is small but was sufficient for kids and us to cool down in. The guide which Clothilde prepared was one of the best I have seen, we took it with us everywhere we went. book your restaurants in advance as those towns are small and most of the places run 1 service for lunch and dinner. Clothilde was an amazing host, handy where needed otherwise we were left to us. highly recommend this place!

Stunning. This home is a dream come true. Gorgeously decorated and thoughtfully stocked. The view from the balcony is heaven. The location of the home is just perfect. Our concierge, Denis, may be the most attentive and helpful person we’ve ever met while staying at an Airbnb. He’s an expert on the region (he wrote a book about it!) and gave us perfect recommendations! He was available to us during our whole stay and did everything to make sure we had all we needed. Even better than the photos, this home is magnificent and immaculately clean, with the most comfortable beds and spa like bathrooms. It’s quiet and private. Lots of room for our family of four. Gordes is a perfect place to stay to visit all of Provence. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!!

STUNNING VIEWS, especially sunsets. Daily breakfast in the garden is a highlight. The garden is magical and the village is fun to explore. Francois and Maria are gracious and generous hosts. Highly recommended!

We had a great week at our cottage, the village offers a lot of entertainment and the Sorgue brings a very pleasant freshness. Beautiful decor, many sites to visit, everything is in place for a stay of discovery, rest and tranquility.

We have just returned from a week at Rogier's Gordes house, and we are already planning a return for next year! We had booked this property on 3 previous occasions, but each one was cancelled, twice because of Covid, and then because of a family bereavement, - but for each of these, Rogier was understanding and supportive, so we were relieved to finally make it in 2025. It was worth the wait, as the property is simply wonderful! As the photos suggest, this is an extremely spacious and well appointed home, and the reality is even more impressive. Despite the mixed May weather, we took every opportunity to sit on the terrace, enjoying that wonderful panoramic view. Walking around the village, especially the footpaths leading up to the famous viewing point, is a real pleasure, and kept us fit. Returning for an ice cream from the cafe next door was a recurring treat. Thanks too, to Sophie for meeting us at arrival and departure. We hope to see you next year!

The Internet presentation and description of the apartment corresponds to reality. Everything was clean and well maintained. The location is perfect, close to the center but away from the hustle and bustle, in a small enclosed residential complex, very quiet. Two parking spaces are available. Virginie's restaurant recommendations are very helpful. Check-in/check-out with key box was hassle-free.

Staying in this ancient building with renovated suites was a quintessential Avignon experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and the location just off Place de l'Horloge. Vanessa provided clear instructions for check-in and we had no other needs to contact her about during our stay, but I am confident she would have been available and responsive. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean & beautiful, and the open living space was perfect for our 3-night stay. We were so happy to be there on a Saturday so that we could enjoy the street market with local artisans and vendors! :) Would stay here again if ever in Avignon. Loved staying in the old city and finding small cafés on narrow Rues to enjoy Spritzes or a meal or even a morning croissant.

Overall, we were satisfied with the accommodation, especially the location. Wonderful when you walk down the street from the car and live in the middle of restaurants, tasteful boutiques and studios. The apartment itself is beautiful, just as shown in the pictures. Somewhat unusual is that the bathroom with toilet is in the apartment upstairs, you always have to take the stairs. The apartment itself is on the 4th or 5th floor without an elevator, you should know, but it did not bother us

We had a great stay at Ju et Mag’s accommodation! It is very comfortable and in a great location. Communication was excellent with quick replies to all my messages. I would definitely stay again!

A real plus: the possibility to park your car in front of the house, closed gate and easily reach the center of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue on foot. We highly recommend this listing!

Elsa is very responsive and left us accommodation that was completely in line with the description. The accommodation is very well located: 15 min walk to the city center and restaurants and others. The residence is safe and quiet. The accommodation is very well oriented.

We felt very comfortable in Thierry's apartment. Thierry welcomed us very warmly, explained everything, gave us great tips. The apartment is located on a property that houses other (vacation) apartments. The whole property is very well maintained and wonderfully planted. The pool was very refreshing, and especially important for parents: fenced! Thierry's apartment is well equipped! There is really nothing missing! It is also great that the larger apartment next door can also be rented via Thierry and you could also spend the holiday there with friends or family. The location was also very good for us. On foot, you could be in the center of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence in about 20 minutes. It takes 5 minutes by car and you can easily find a parking space - unless it's a market, then you should start early enough! All in all, we had a wonderful vacation at Thierry's and would love to come back!

Very nice apartment with charm near everything there is to visit

A piece of paradise amid vineyards. Véronique and Pascal are charming and very discreet. We were able to discuss their passion and their Arts. They're fascinating. Our accommodation was perfect, as described. The ceilings are low upstairs but as indicated in the description, no surprises. Perfect bedding and lovely soothing decor. I would highly recommend it. We'll go back I think.

Admiring a magnificent sunset from the terrace overlooking a pond, a beautiful view and extraordinary calm, that's what I keep in mind from my short stay in this beautiful, well-equipped and well-functional apartment. Arrived at 2 a.m. with two small children, the welcome booklet sent by Alfred before arrival reassured me about the organization. The baby bed already prepared, the apartment that contains everything you need to stay there as a family and especially the calm gave me good reason to choose this accommodation for my stay rather than going to a hotel.
