Andre was a fantastic host. There was a very generous welcome basket, including wine, waiting for us on the kitchen table. He responded quickly to our inquiries and provided a very helpful list of local attractions and restaurants. The house was well equipped, very clean and perfectly located for exploring Sao Miguel. We would definitely recommend this house and Andre as a host.

A házigazdáink Janine és Lino minden kérdésünkre és kérésünkre hamar találtak választ. Előzékenyek voltak és figyelmesek. Igazán hálásak vagyunk, hogy felejthetetlenné varázsolták az egy hónapos ittartózkodásunkat, nászutunkat. Ha valaha ismét az Azori szigeteken töltünk időt, nem kérdés, hogy hol szállunk meg. We had the best time at Maria‘s cozy cottage. You can enjoy the big garden and a great view over the ocean, accompanied by two lovely cats. The cottage is small but you have everything you need. André, Maria and her husband are very friendly. We had some nice conversations with them. We would love to visit this place again soon!

The check-in was extremely easy and flexible, with the key stored in a safe. Joana had proactively provided us with all the relevant information beforehand. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Maria Madalena. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and modernly furnished—we felt right at home! Additionally, a selection of delicious local products awaited us. We were able to park our car directly in front of the door on the sidewalk. We had an incredibly beautiful week in Mosteiros and would gladly come back anytime. Muito obrigado, Maria Madalena and Joana!

Wat een fantastische plek ! Alleen al de locatie is 5 sterren waard. Het wandelen naar het strand is inderdaad een afdeling/klim, maar 100% de moeite waard. Fijn dat overal horren voor de ramen zaten. We hebben geen last gehad van ongedierte. Onze host was snel en vriendelijk en heeft ons goed geholpen met tips over het eiland (er is ontzettend veel te doen), en zelfs een taart georganiseerd voor de verjaardag van twee van ons. Kortom, we zijn erg tevreden over ons verblijf.

Wir haben uns direkt wohl bei Jéssica gefühlt. Als wir in die Unterkunft gekommen sind wurden wir mit Wein, leckeren Käse, Früchte und mehr begrüßt. Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben und sauber. Die Wohnung ist gut gelegen, man hat seine Ruhe, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gegeben und mit dem Auto ist alles gut erreichbar. Der Backofen hat leider Probleme gemacht und Jéssica hat direkt am nächsten Tag einen neuen einbauen lassen. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut und uns wurde immer schnell weitergeholfen. Das Bett ist leider etwas ungemütlich, der Rest war perfekt. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Amazing stay would definitely come back to this beautiful property. Interior was clean and homey apart from one encounter with a cockroach-that is apparently normal at this time of year but wish we were given a heads up. Host was always quick to respond and managed to check us in early which was greatly appreciated for our early flight.

The host Cristina was great. Very responsive to questions and requests. The house was amazing. Lots of room, great pool. I would recommend booking the house if you are going to stay in Sao Miguel. Our stay was perfect. The location couldn’t have been better. Peaceful. Nice to be out of downtown Ponta Delgada- but convenient enough to get to and enjoy the Festival and the city when we wanted to. The house is strategically located on the south shore and perfectly located to drive to the island’s sites. A couple very nice restaurants are within easy walking distance. The ocean pools are right across the street. We enjoyed whale watching, hiking and traversing the Island, seeing all the sites. Ludovic was a txt away and helped out whenever we needed! Our 8 day stay went by so quickly, but it was wonderful.

Alexandra ist die beste Gastgeberin, die man sich vorstellen kann. Sie ist sehr freundlich und zuverlässig. Das Haus ist fantastisch und gut aufgeteilt. Die Kinder hatten Spaß mit den Tieren. Ich empfehle eine Buchung und würde immer wieder gerne zurückkommen.

My stay at this Airbnb property was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I booked, the host was incredibly responsive and provided swift communication, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free. The property itself is nestled in a beautiful and safe area, which added to the overall experience. I felt completely at ease during my stay, knowing I was in such a secure neighborhood. One of the highlights was the clean and spacious swimming pool. It was a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The pool area was well-maintained and provided a lovely oasis to soak up the sun. The house was equipped with everything needed for daily life, from kitchen essentials to cozy living spaces. It was clear that the host had thought of everything to make guests feel at home. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable and inviting place to stay!

The apartment (Kalla) is on the top part of the house with beautiful view of the ocean. It’s pretty big and spacious. We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) and we had lots of room and even one bed was not used. Location is further from the city, which was perfect for us. It was peaceful, quiet, with amazing view of the ocean and calm breeze. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the veranda with stunning view. We visited in June, and everything is blooming at that time (so many beautiful flowers surrounded by lush greenery), absolutely beautiful. The location is close to the city (~20 min drive), beach (~15 min drive), mountains (~15 min drive). Would come back again!!

This place was incredible. Very scenic and peaceful. We loved the sounds of the animals, the cows and the odd cat that would show up. This house was in pristine condition and very cozy. I’ve never had a more informative and smooth check in anywhere. The pool was exceptionally warm and perfect if you have kids. We would definitely recommend this place and come back.

Wir hatten ein tolle Zeit auf dem Hausboot. Der Frühstücksservice ist wunderbar, es wurde täglich sauber gemacht und die Lage inklusive Parkplatz im Parkhaus ist einfach unschlagbar. Sandra war immer hilfsbereit und hat sich sehr nett um uns gekümmert!

My parents and I had a wonderful stay at Alain’s apartment in Vila Franca do Campo. The view from both balconies was stunning and completely unobstructed. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was clearly recently renovated, with a fresh, modern, and spotless feel throughout. There was plenty of parking available along the seawall, just a short two-minute walk from the apartment. Being right next to a fishing port added to the charm and authenticity of the location—we really enjoyed watching the fishermen return with their daily catch.

Maria was a wonderful host. Great communication and friendly. She not only let us check-in early but she allowed us to leave our luggage when checking out due to our flight being delayed. The place looks exactly like the pictures. For anyone with mobility issues please be aware that there is a flight of stairs up to the house when you enter, plus there are stairs up to 4 bedrooms. The outside space had amazing views, and if the weather cooperates it’s a wonderful place to relax after a day of exploring. We were unfortunate that the weather was not the best. I recommend Maria’s house.

Grand appartement. Très bien localisé. Avec la voiture louée, tout était facilement accessible. Le logement était humide et frisquet. L’hôte le contrôlait à distance. Quand nous avons pu clarifié ceci, nous avions une température agréable ! Très convenable. Le chien était adorable et nos hôtes très avenants !

Très bon accueil, nous sommes arrivés un peu tard mais Carlos nous attendait.. Logement est bien situé avec une belle vue très bien équipé il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Carlos était au petit soin disponible et soucieux de notre bien être. Je recommande vivement.. Le couché de soleil le soir sur la terrasse est bien agréable !! Merci encore à Carlos pour son accueil !

We were looking to enjoy the amazing coast daily on foot and this spot was perfect. Very little elevation change to walk a 3 mile loop each day while enjoying the beauty of the coast from one end of town to the other. Beautiful sunset at the beach just steps away! The locals were very friendly and Andre will take the best of care to make sure you have an equally enjoyable experience!

Celia was a fantastic host who was very responsive and provided wonderful recommendations on places to visit. The apartment is located in a convenient part of Ponta Delgada. The apartment was very clean and had a fully equipped kitchen - perfect for our cooking needs. Highly recommend this home!

El alojamiento es tal cual se describe, muy limpio y con todo lo que puedes necesitar. Han estado muy atentos en todo momento, enviando recomendaciones locales y preocupándose por lo que pudiéramos necesitar. Además de unos básicos para el primer día, cada mañana nos dejaban pan recién hecho en la puerta: perfecto para hacernos los bocadillos y empezar el día de ruta. Mil gracias Rui y Octavia!!! Me hubiera encantado pasarme a despedirme pero nos hemos dormido y llegábamos tarde al aeropuerto 😅 El barrio, como indican, es humilde pero estuvimos muy a gusto en todo momento. Los vecinos muy respetuosos y amables. Infórmate antes de ir para alinear expectativas de viaje. Calidad/ precio estupenda, sin duda repetiremos 😊
