Great place, nice location with comfortable bed and cool bath. There was a bit of an issue with the WiFi (it didn’t work in the room) but except for that we enjoyed our stay there

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of São Miguel, Casa Maria De Dues Staying here was an experience I'll cherish forever. This quaint B&B, nestled in the breathtaking landscape of São Miguel Island, felt like something out of a dream. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness by the owner, Maria, and her dear friend Dina. Each morning, we woke up to the most delicious homemade breakfasts, lovingly prepared with fresh, all-natural ingredients. You could taste the care in every bite. The view from Maria’s property is nothing short of majestic a panorama so stunning it truly took our breath away. But even more beautiful than the scenery were the people. Maria is an incredible storyteller with a deep and inspiring faith. Her life journey moved me deeply, and I came away with so much admiration for her strength and grace. Dina is a light in this home always smiling, always cheerful, and always working hard to make your stay the very best. I will never forget them both.

We only stayed for one night, but we enjoyed the place very much! The staff were all super nice and gave us good tips for the surrounding areas. The suite exceeded our expectations and everything was super clean and cozy! The breakfast is absolutely worth the money. We would come here again any time.

I stayed for 9 nights at Casa Carmen and felt very good with Carmen and Rolf. The house is easy to reach from the airport by rental car and has a good starting point to explore the island from there. The hosts were very flexible with arrival and departure times. The room and bathroom are simply furnished and very clean. Every morning, Carmen conjures up an excellent breakfast on the table, where nothing is missing, and responds to personal preferences. I would definitely recommend the place.

Vanessa was fantastic — warm, generous, and accommodating. She made me feel right at home and provided excellent recommendations for island activities. Amenities were great and she was genuinely interested in connecting with all of her guests which made my experience even more special. When I come back to Ponta Delgada I’ll be booking her again!

Beautifully sparkling clean stay. Contactless check-in and take a refreshing dip in the pool. Within walking distance are several restaurants and the car can be parked for free a little further away, this is explained by the host where it is. Breakfast is prepared on the spot and served in buffet form. There was also scrambled eggs made for us and the rest consisted of mainly local products. In short, a super nice stay and recommended! :)

Maria is super welcoming and friendly! She is like a grand Mother that everyone would love to have ❤️ The dog is perfectly calm. The breakfast is big and she made home jam 🤤 The place is lovely, i recommand! Also the flowers and the view is nice. Its close to downtown but with more space. I hope i can go back 😊

This was a lovely place to stay. Great location with extremely friendly staff and a delicious continental breakfast. As a warning to anyone parking: it is paid on the street. It was free Saturday and Sunday but we woke up to a parking ticket on Monday morning before we had a chance to go down to pay. Please be more proactive than we were!

amazing experience, it was our best accommodation of our trip. The room service is impeccable, the breakfast is very good and diverse too, then the welcome in the morning is nice during breakfasts. I would highly recommend it, the view from room 301 is directly on Islet Vila Franca do Campo with Balcony. The accommodation is at a perfect distance from activities, and good restaurants. 12/10 for overall appreciation!

We had a lovely stay at Susanas House - the moment we came through the door we felt like being at home! Susana provided us with breakfast ready at the table and every morning we found a local sweet specialty to enjoy - very thoughtful! We will come back when on Sao Miguel in the future. Thank you!
