Mariela ist eine sehr freundliche und bemühte Gastgeberin. Sie war wirklich immer super schnell erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Sehr sauber und die zwischenreinigung war auch klasse. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

This is truly an amazing place! We celebrated my husband’s 75th birthday and your place was a total surprise for him. He loved everything, the personalized welcome sign in Swedish, the wonderful accomodation, the fantastic views, the total calm and of course the cat Simba. We would live to come back! Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Jedoch ein Auto sollte man haben, ansonsten könnte es schwierig werden.

Beautiful house. The driveway is easy to miss if you're not paying close attention the first time. Well equipped kitchen. Next to a walking trail by the sea. Well situated to drive to other attractions around the island. Fanal forest, P Moniz, Santana, PR16, were not far away.

Raquel’s place was absolutely impeccable. After five nights of hopping between different beds, my friend and I felt so lucky to land here for three restful nights — exactly what we needed. The space had everything we could have asked for and more. The check-in process was super easy, and Raquel had everything clearly laid out with thoughtful instructions. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us — it truly felt like a breath of fresh air.

This is a beautiful Airbnb and we truly enjoyed our stay — from beginning to end. The accommodation was next-level… beautiful interior and private deck on the second floor, and a shared infinity pool that overlooked the busy street below, but felt like you were in your own little paradise. Definitely recommend and will stay here again on our next trip to Madeira!

Incredible spot in Madeira! Situated in the coziest and most charming village with absolutely gorgeous views of the mountain and sunset. Highly recommend!

Ce logement a toutes les commodités pour un séjour confortable. La vue prenante de la mer du 7e étage est appréciée. Cela en fait un atout très intéressant. Prendre l'apéro sur la balcon est un plaisir. Nous n'avons pas eu trop de problème pour le stationnement de la voiture, mais nous étions de retour avant 16h00. La disponibilité des places est limitée après 15h30 et les alternatives de stationnement dans les rues sont assez loin et contraignantes (frais jusqu'à 20h00). Il n'est plus possible de se garer dans la rue du complexe, il faut aller à plus de 300 m ou utiliser un parking public payant à 100 m. Sur 5 jours, nous n'avons eu à se garer dans la rue qu'une seule fois. Le lit est confortable. Il est très agréable de dormir avec le bruit lointain des vagues. Les résidents du complexes sont silencieux et respectueux. Bref, nous avons eu une excellente expérience et nous conseillons ce logement pour ceux qui veulent découvrir Funchal.

We are glad we booked at this spot! The balcony was wonderful to have and everything was clean. What stood out the most was our very responsive host making sure we got all checked in even while her car was broken down on the side of the road! Despite the emergency, she responded to all our messages promptly and helped us check in. I was extra grateful when I woke up extremely sick from some bad fruit the night before and we were allowed a late check out until I recovered! We even left one of our passports at check out and she made sure the staff kept it safe for us. Very helpful owners, would recommend.

Henrique was very nice. The apartment was clean and it was as described. Great location, wonderful view. Lots of shopping nearby including an excellant grocery store. I would stay there again.

Die Lage des Appartements war sehr gut und nah zum Strand sowie zu einigen Restaurants. Einen kostenlosen Parkplatz in der Straße zu finden, war nie ein Problem. Die Kommunikation mit Anastasia war super. Die Beschreibung der Unterkunft passt zudem, was wir vorgefunden haben. Wir haben uns von Beginn an sehr wohl gefühlt in dem liebevoll eingerichteten Appartement. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt. 😊

Загалом все було добре. Квартира чиста, з гарним розташуванням неподалік автобусна зупинка, магазини та все необхідне. Було зручно дістатися до різних місць. Із дрібних зауважень слабкий напір води в душі та не вистачало дошки для нарізання на кухні. Але загальне враження позитивне, дякую за гостинність!

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.

Super Unterkunft, direkt am Meer gelegen, man kann direkt aus dem Bett aufs Meer schauen! Die Unterkunft ist super eingerichtet, man hat alles was man braucht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Ein Stellplatz für den Mietwagen war ebenfalls vorhanden. Wir waren super zufrieden und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Absolutely beautiful location and it was quiet and peaceful. It was a great place to come relax mid-day between adventures, and we loved using the jacuzzi at the end of the day after hiking and exploring Madeira! Gomes also gave great recommendations and we really enjoyed some of his restaurant recommendations and a local poncha bar. If we ever come back we would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved our stay here for the week! We loved the ability to walk into town and grab food at any time. We found a number of great restaurants! We also loved being within the energy of the town of Camara De Lobos. It was very warm, welcoming, and vibrant. We loved the home and felt it was clean, beautiful, and the perfect opportunity to slow down life and enjoy the sound of the ocean. The breeze was able to keep us cool (mid February visit for us), the sound of the ocean helped us drift off peacefully, and we enjoyed the opportunity to lounge in the sun on the many decks available. Parking was simple and free right around the house. We had very prompt communication and felt very supported. Overall the location was a great spot to adventure to the rest of the island. If we ever return to Madeira this is where we will be staying!

We had a great time in João's apartment. He was very helpful, easy to reach, and had valuable restaurant tips. Check-in and check-out were easy. João left good instructions. We knew we could ask for advice at any time. We had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped. We liked the location and surroundings. The beach/coast was a 5-minute walk from the apartment. A bus stop was right outside. There was also free parking for our rental car right outside. There were also plenty of shopping options. The street directly in front of the apartment is a bit noisy, but it didn't bother us. The construction work during the day wasn't a problem for us either, as we were exploring the beautiful island. Only the balcony door, bathroom door, and one or two shelves in the apartment could use some maintenance or are showing their age. A second, slightly thicker duvet would also be great. But these are all minor things. We were very happy and could imagine staying in João's apartment again.
