Vacation rentals with beach access in São Martinho

We loved our stay in Antonio’s apartment. It was extremely clean and spacious and had everything we needed and then some. It even had a parking garage for our car. I appreciated that Antonio provided plenty of coffee, soap, shampoo and even laundry detergent. That was really nice and convenient. I loved sitting on the deck overlooking the gorgeous ocean view drinking my coffee or sipping a glass of wine. It was so relaxing! I highly recommend booking Antonio’s place. He is a superb, kind host and will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy.

We’ve enjoyed the stay at Tony’s apartment. It was easy to get there with very clear instructions. Ocean view was fantastic. We’d everything needed, including washing things. I would like to have some more coffee.

This is a beautiful place! The pictures did not do it justice. It was open and spacious, we felt relaxed the minute we stepped in! We traveled with our 3 adult children and we had plenty of space. There were a lot of extra touches-fresh flowers, a cooler to use, swim towels, complimentary cake and wine, and blankets for use out on the patio. The parking was convenient as we rented a car for travel on the island. We took the path to town and wish we would have done this earlier to enjoy the beach. The view was mesmerizing and we even saw some dolphins! dolphins! We woredolphinsdolphins

We are glad we booked at this spot! The balcony was wonderful to have and everything was clean. What stood out the most was our very responsive host making sure we got all checked in even while her car was broken down on the side of the road! Despite the emergency, she responded to all our messages promptly and helped us check in. I was extra grateful when I woke up extremely sick from some bad fruit the night before and we were allowed a late check out until I recovered! We even left one of our passports at check out and she made sure the staff kept it safe for us. Very helpful owners, would recommend.

Betty is the top host! She welcomed us with open arms. Very fast to respond, friendly and helpful! We were able to check out in the afternoon and enjoyed our last lunch at home before leaving for the airport. The view of the mountains is breathtaking at day and night time. The apartment is absolutely huge. It was our 3rd visit to Madeira with our elderly mum. She got beautiful bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk in shower. Betty also got an armchair for mum so she could relax on the balcony. We had such a comfortable and great stay! highly recommended!

There is a lot of work nearby which creates noise disturbances but it is temporary while the properties are built. Some neighbors were also quite noisy sometimes in the evening... The apartment is well located, set back from the hustle and bustle of the city and the beach is within easy walking distance The apartment needs maintenance in terms of paintings and furniture but as Ricardo told me so well, it is difficult to find contractors on the island because of the growing demand for construction and renovations but I have no doubt that he will do what is necessary as soon as possible In short, we had a pleasant stay and the accommodation was more than enough for our family stay with our 2-year-old daughter

My children and I had a great time at Eleonor's quiet house with beautiful views of Funchal. Parking nearby is very much appreciated. No difficulty in parking. The house is impeccably clean with all the necessary amenities available. Excellent welcome by Claudio when we arrived. Very responsive to our requests and recommended very good restaurants. I highly recommend it. 😉

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

Everything you needed was there. The place is stylish and clean. The host was always available and quick to respond.

Very well-equipped accommodation from the kitchen to the details, such as plaids for cool evenings, parasol for the beach, garden furniture, barbecue... a beautiful garden with beautiful sunset views...

Our stay in Camara de lobos went very well. Lots of restaurants nearby, beautiful view, nice for walks, good location for exploring the whole island. The apartment is very clean and very well-equipped. The only weak point is the difficulty of driving in the street because it is very narrow and the turn is dangerous for novices like us who know little about the mountainous and steep roads, and who had a fairly large vehicle (Nissan Juke). With a smaller vehicle, it's easier and it's possible to park in front of the apartment. Very good stay.

Absolutely loved our stay. It is beautiful and quiet, easy parking, attentive host. Loved the view. Bed was super comfortable. Can’t think of any negatives.

The stay at Juan’s House let us to relax in great atmosphere. The apartment is well equiped even including cofee machine. There is a view at ocean from taracce. It is very clean and very well prepared for guests.

A lovely apartment: convenient, well-situated and pleasant views. Good location if you have a hire car; Funchal isn’t far at all, and there are many local shops and restaurants. Host-wise, unless you speak a little Portuguese, it can be slightly difficult; Jose is happy to call and speak for his mother. Very friendly and welcoming!!!

Everything was great! Perfect location

The check-in went well. We were very pleased and can recommend the apartment. Parking was available in the courtyard, otherwise it would have been bad to find a parking space. Next to the entrance was a small shop, also ideal. We felt very comfortable.

Great apartment. Everything as described. Tip...bring some shower/bath gel or buy some locally. There was only little bottles of shampoo. This was to start you off when you arrived, but, if you feel like a shower after a long journey it would be nice to have just a couple of small bottles of gel just for the initial shower or bath. It was quite noisy when we stayed with very loud building works with an excavator loading and crashing rocks and boulders into the lorries and travelling right past the apartment loaded with all of those 🥺 This was at the front of the apartment, so although we couldn't use the balcony there: thankfully the bedroom was at the rear of the property, so a lie in was possible when the work started early in the morning. However, this may not be the case for any future guests as they may have finished the works before they arrive. Other than this problem, we had a great time on this beautiful island ( our 8th visit and our first time in self catering)

This was one of the best air bnbs we stayed in on our trip to Europe. It had everything you could possibly need and the view from the patio was amazinf especially at sunset. Also the host Jose and his wife were so sweet and gave us lots of reccomendations. Could not have asked for a more perfect stay and we will be back.

Delila was an great host. Apartment was clean with all the amenities. Location is great, close to the beaches, stores and restaurants. Bus stop is right in front of the apartment.
