This apartment T2 was completely renovated in March 2020. It is located a few meters from the beach (you just have to cross the road), 2nd floor without elevator. It holds up to 5 adults and 1 baby, includes bed linen and towels. São Martinho beach is known for being great for children, due to the few waves and to be a quiet beach. During the summer season you can find various activities in the bay, such as sailing and other activities. Close to this village is still Nazaré, Óbidos, Peniche.

"Andorinha 1 " is a full furnished studio, 100 km north of Lisbon on the silvercoast a rural and quiet place: Serra dos Mangues; situated on the Atlantic coastroad and 14 km. from typical beachplace Nazaré, worldwide known for it´s "big wave". And 3 km north of Saõ Martinho do Porto with it´s beautiful shellshaped bay. you can walk to Praia do Salgado within 35 min. Our plce is situated central and rural we recommend a car so you can visit lots of beatiful places in the area. Free parking!

We struggled a lot to find her apartment at first, I think providing photos of the building and street could be very helpful! I appreciated the photos for the lock box because that made it easier to find. Getting the door open to the building was very difficult, you have to jiggle the key up and down and push to get in. Once in her apartment things were wonderful! Very spacious, clean, and great location!

5 star; View and furnishings, the beds are soft and we slept like babies. The neighborhood is quiet and the windows are amazing. For us the water was plenty hot. Good storage everywhere. Decent pans and utensils. Great response to an emergency of the water shutting off—fixed immediately. 4 star; Clean pool, which was difficult to get to and had ladders to get in. We never did get our pool passes. The oven/microwave combo seemed to be functional, but was too complicated for us to figure out. 3 star; Communication was extremely slow, if at all. 2 star; Bathroom sink smelled terrible. No salt, pepper, oil, etc.. for preparing meals. 1 star; Espresso machine non-functional. Clothes washer non-functional with sitting water in it for the entire month. If we stayed there again, it would be because of the soft beds and the view.

We had a fantastic stay, the apartment is beautiful, clean and in the perfect location. You have everything you need in the apartment, including beach towels, toys and a beach trolly to use whilst you are there. There is also a pool onsite which is a good size and clean, and has a shallow pool for the little ones. There are many restaurants to choose from in walking distance and the beach is literally down the road. On the beach there are peddlos, jet skis and an inflatable obsticle course, which was great fun. There are also lovely little shops to explore. We took a lovely relaxing walk down the beach to the sand dunes and a lagoon which the kids loved. Communication with the hosts was brilliant and they checked in on us to ensure we had everything we needed and sent an information pack about things to do in the area before we arrived. We would also recommend a trip to Obidos which we did by train (20 minutes on the train). we would highly recommend a stay here here and we will certainly be back to explore some more!
