Vacation rentals with a patio in Santo Antão

Bruno is responsive. He checks in during the stay to see if anything is needed. He responds quickly when we contact him. The apartment is not far from the center of Mindelo and it is close to the police station. There's also a medical center right next door.

Well equipped, spacious and clean apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. Jamila was very helpful and managed to help resolve any issues that I had.

Elsa is an extraordinary host. The apartment is probably the most beautiful on the island - with views of the ocean, the mountains, and everything else. A grocery store right in the building, and a pool downstairs (it was being renovated when we were there so we didn't get to use it, but it looks stunning). There is also a second grocery store via a 7 minute walk, and CNAD is about 8 minutes away, not to mention the 10-12 minute walk to the beach. I can't say enough wonderful things about Elsa as a host - she goes out of her way to make you feel connected to the community. Thanks, Elsa!

Bohème (from Filomena Apartments) is perfect! My trip to Sao Vicente was meant to relax and that was completely successful. Nice with coffee and a book in the morning sun on the balcony. Wake up under the super clean shower with a good jet. And then walking to the (super)market, the beach or an eatery - choice enough within walking distance - to come back at the end of the afternoon for a siesta in a wonderfully cool bedroom on a nice mattress. In the evening I cooked myself - also the kitchen is full of comforts - or one of the famous taxi drivers took me to the most beautiful places in Mindelo. You can have a great time in the beautiful apartment (e.g. Netflix on the TVs and table games) but on the island there is plenty to do (e.g. car tour along Salamsa and Monte Verde etc.). Elida and Nuun have good tips and the residents of Sao Vicente are happy to show you their island. Just ask; people are really sweet and at Filomena Aprtmnts you are in the best hands. Bêjus!

Mindelo Sunset - Ocean View! What a beautiful place! It was super clean, organized, and beautifully decorated. The unit has a nice vibe to it and had everything that I needed; I felt right at home! And the view! Oh my Goodness, what a view! Nothing better than waking up to a beautiful view of Monte Cara and Laginha beach! Also, the location is perfect: it's a short walk to Laginha beach and very close to Mindelo's center (downtown area) which you can find many restaurants, cafes, etc. The neighborhood is safe and the building is secure, which was exactly what I was looking for. Safety is a non negotiable for me. I also loved the fact that there is a cafe and mini-market right on the ground floor! That was super convenient for me! The host was professional, prompt, and super friendly! The host's description of the place is on point, nothing more and nothing less. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be staying at Mindelo Sunset again!

we enjoyed our stay in the mountains a lot. it was an unique experience! the village is small but offers two restaurants and two mini markets (the range of products is very small though). from the appartement there are many options for hikes and Jordi offers great advice for where to go. beautiful place.

Wonderful place and very nice host

Bruna the host was lovely, she was extremely helpful and accommodating as my friends took their baby and the place was all kitted with a cot for the baby! The house is spacious with comfortable beds, a huge patio with beautiful views of and a walking distance from the city centre. They also managed booking tours and activities in the island which was extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the island and would 100% stay here again. Thank you for the lovely hospitality!

Beautiful, modern apartment just outside the center, about 5 minutes walk to the city beach and about 10 minutes to the center. The apartment is furnished as new, clean and has everything you need for a successful vacation. Pleasant bed and shower with decent water pressure. Recommended! Deborah is an attentive host, communicating with her was very easy and quick.

Liliana is a very heartwarming host, quick to respond to your questions and helpfull in aiding your trip around Saõ Vicente. Couldn’t have wished for more. About the appartment. It is located right on the sea board. A beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy the ocean, read a book and at night you have an amazong view of the stars. There’s a garden with a lot of shade and place to relax. Right next door there’s a small turtle sanctuary and you can make a roundtrip by foot around the vulcano. So enough to do for everyone. Inside the appartment is very clean, tidy en cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

My stay went extremely well! I was lucky that there was no one else staying at the same time so I had the whole house to myself. There was a beautiful view of the whole city from the roof, it was very nice. 🥰 Everything was clean and tidy. A few minutes' walk to the beaches, restaurants etc. The host was very welcoming, friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend this place!

I can't believe I missed out on this village for so long! My family is from Porto Novo, and it never occurred to me to visit this place. It is a hidden gem for anyone who enjoys quiet spaces by the sea. The cottage itself is magical. I love the stone wall structure, the openness of the area, and the view and sound of the ocean right in front of me. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it perfect for anyone or a family to prepare homemade meals. The bed has an iron-sprung mattress, and I can’t remember the last time I slept on one. The waves pick up at night, lulling you to sleep and making you forget about everything else. There is no ATM here. Bring enough cash and a card. Also, consider buying extra bread in Porto Novo before arriving here. Bread sells quickly in Tarrafal. It was so nice to find some in the freezer. This side of the island has the best rum “grogue” in Santo Antao. Buy some! If you visit Tarrafal during the sea turtle nesting season, volunteer with TerriMar. Obrigado!

The place was very nice. We had a good time as a family and enjoyed the beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. Medugia's fine breakfast is also recommended. The location is not very suitable for hiking holidays and we recommend renting a car to explore the island. Unfortunately, the Internet did not work, which limited us, as we did not have telephone subscriptions and therefore could not directly request excursions and guides. However, Medugia kindly organized a guide for us. However, it was somewhat difficult to communicate (only Portuguese/Creole). We're missing information about the surrounding area. (Nearest restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, hiking...)

An oasis from some minutes to city center. Very comfortable house with a lot of beauty and of amendities. Lovely view over the city. Can recommend ❤️

My family and I are visiting Cabo Verde for the first time and decided to travel to Santo Antão for 2 days and 1 night from São Vicente—but we wish we had extended our trip. Hannelore’s house is absolutely beautiful. The scenic rooftop view is unmatched, and you immediately feel at home. The best part of our trip was how welcoming Hannelore was and her commitment to making our stay stress-free. She was very flexible, offered us many recommendations, and even offered to help book taxis and make dinner reservations for us. We will definitely be back in Santo Antão and look forward to visiting again!
