very good accommodation to rest after a very nice hike. Restaurants within walking distance, with Capverdian atmosphere. Everything is there! Breakfast served at 6:30 am to have the shared taxi at 7am at the foot of the house, Thank you!

I really enjoyed my stay in São Vicente. It’s the perfect location, walking distance of the beach. You have a living room with kitchen and the room and bathroom are clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely come back.

Very special stay, I'll never forget. Stars, sea and the sound of waves and roosters. Evandro is a kind, interesting person and my father and me were happy to meet him on our trip, having the chance to discover the little village of Tarrafal and its people. Even the travel there and going back was a nice adventure, seeing the sunrise from the aluguer. We hope to be back. Muito obrigada

We were received very nicely. Since we wanted to go hiking directly, we were able to bring our luggage over early in the morning, which was great. Communication was great and we were organized a return transport to the ferry without any problems. Breakfast was OK, not excessive but you don't pay much for it. Great stay.

Miguel welcomed us very warmly! He explained the principle of the association he leads (Volunturismo). If you want to stay in this home, it's very interesting and rewarding to participate in the life of the association. The accommodation is ideally located by the sea, very quiet, it feels good. Anny was as pleasant as could be and we can never thank her enough for her kind advice. The couple working for the house also perfectly represents Cape Verdean kindness and humility. I only have one desire, which is to go back because one night is too short to appreciate the place. This is by far the best place I've stayed. I am a dedicated airbnb member, and I was extremely satisfied with this host's apartment. The location is by far the best part! It is a 5 minute walk from Laginha's boardwalk. The room is a great size! Bigger than I thought it would be. The bathroom itself has its own bathroom. You'll feel like you are in a guest house. Every morning I was given breakfast- which was something most host's don't offer. Overall, I enjoyed my stated and would definitely come again! Plus the price is amazing!

Fantastic nature scenery and also a great place to stay. Amazing people running it, well designed & super clean rooms, the cook is brilliant and is serving a tasty and well thought menu daily. The reception is super responsive and helpful. Honestly, what else can we say about this place? A great experience that helped us love even more Cabo Verde.

Everything was top notch, from location to cleanliness and communication, we really felt at home. We had everything and more we needed for our 4 day stay. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The highlight of the place is the amazing sea view from the balcony. Breakfast in the morning is very generous. Lazareto is quiet and doesn't have much going on around. If you go out at night to Mindelo it has been recommended to us to take a taxi. We stayed only for one night and enjoyed our stay very much.

Elsa is an extraordinary host. The apartment is probably the most beautiful on the island - with views of the ocean, the mountains, and everything else. A grocery store right in the building, and a pool downstairs (it was being renovated when we were there so we didn't get to use it, but it looks stunning). There is also a second grocery store via a 7 minute walk, and CNAD is about 8 minutes away, not to mention the 10-12 minute walk to the beach. I can't say enough wonderful things about Elsa as a host - she goes out of her way to make you feel connected to the community. Thanks, Elsa!

We've enjoyed Cindy's place a lot. It is perfect if you want to work remotely with a beautiful view or to just relax. It is very spacious and cosy. Terrace is definitely better than it looks on the pictures! The view is amazing! :) . We order traditional breakfast twice and got THE most delicious Catchupa we have tried on the island of São Vicente. I would definitely recommend this place further.

A great place to stay for a few days in Mindelo! We felt so comfortable: with great spots on the many terraces, with a room that was wonderfully airy through two doors and with a very pleasant atmosphere, also by the sweete crew on site. Highly recommended!

Highlights: Unusual and exotic place. The staff is very careful for you. Breakfast is included and very good and varied. The view of the ocean is breathtaking! The evening meal is great and hearty! Things to improve: The address you provided is incorrect. We went to Ponta do sol as indicated on the listing while the place is in Cruzinha. Without a response from the host, we found thanks to Booking and locals in Ponta do Sol who were very nice and helpful. The pool is not sufficiently maintained but the owner has ordered all the necessary equipment (pumps...) to resolve the situation as soon as possible. Inquire before. Guests were still swimming. The owner is very nice. Please note that there have been 2 listings on Airbnb with 2 different rates.

Good stay, quiet and peaceful environment

This is the perfect place for hiking in the area ! Helder welcomed us with open arms: local tips and good breakfasts. He even organized for a bus to take us back to the ferry. The location is great: you can walk to Ribeira Grande center in 5 minutes, for the restaurant and markets. This is also the place where you can catch the public buses for the hiking spots.
