Bruna the host was lovely, she was extremely helpful and accommodating as my friends took their baby and the place was all kitted with a cot for the baby! The house is spacious with comfortable beds, a huge patio with beautiful views of and a walking distance from the city centre. They also managed booking tours and activities in the island which was extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the island and would 100% stay here again. Thank you for the lovely hospitality!

We stayed in this lovely house in the heart of the village for 8 people for 4 days. All rooms are very nice and with lots of charm. The sea view is beautiful. The premises are very welcoming, especially Gabi and Veronica who managed our reception on site. We ate at Veronica's restaurant every night, her cuisine is excellent and she took care to vary the meals (there is very little in the grocery stores to cook on site). We had a driver during our 4 days who was able to recommend beautiful hikes and booked our lunch. We were missing soap and shower towels, but nothing too serious for us. If you want to be transported and immersed in Cape Verde, Odile's is the place to go. We loved it!

Liliana is a very heartwarming host, quick to respond to your questions and helpfull in aiding your trip around Saõ Vicente. Couldn’t have wished for more. About the appartment. It is located right on the sea board. A beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy the ocean, read a book and at night you have an amazong view of the stars. There’s a garden with a lot of shade and place to relax. Right next door there’s a small turtle sanctuary and you can make a roundtrip by foot around the vulcano. So enough to do for everyone. Inside the appartment is very clean, tidy en cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Love staying at Kasa Salamansa, I definitely recommend and will be back. Space is beautiful and Evaristo is a great and accommodating host.

We proactively checked in every day so that transport with Collectivos could be planned. Since there was no Collectivo on Sunday, we had to take a taxi. Thanks for the beautiful accommodation and the support from Maria Helena!

The accommodation is impeccable and very pleasant. Being outside the city it is an extremely peaceful place. Don't worry about getting there, all taxis know the address and drop you off there for a very reasonable rate. Very good hosting from others, thank you to them! I recommend 100%!

I had a wonderful stay at this unique, three-level flat with a quirky minimalistic design and a touch of artistic flair. It’s a space that feels both comfortable and inspiring — perfect for anyone who enjoys something a little different from the typical rental. Storage your food well as there are ants! The communication with Hugo, the owner, was excellent. Even though he lives abroad, he was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Mizzy, who is onsite and manages everything locally, was fantastic — friendly, proactive, and quick to assist with anything I needed (sadly does not speak English so be patient). There was a temporary internet slowdown during my stay, but it was resolved within a day thanks to their quick action. The flat is in a safe area, just a short walk from the Marina and very close to two supermarkets (less than 2 minutes away). However at night, it’s wise to be cautious everywhere in Mindelo — travel with others or take a taxi

There were 10 of us (including 2 little girls) staying at Pierre's and we had a wonderful vacation at his place. The house has a lot of charm, is large and well-equipped, there is even a double rooftop with a beautiful view of the laginha beach. Pierre is super nice and full of good advice. Kizy is super nice. I love Diva's home in Mindelo! I will surely be staying again on my next visit in a few monthes! Great amenities such as a private pool and playground for kids to play and 24 hour security made me feel safe! Great find in Mindelo highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at this villa! The view of the sea and the mountains is breathtaking. The welcome was exceptional, and we immediately felt at home. The in-home chefs were incredibly kind and prepared delicious meals. The experience was truly luxurious, and our hosts were always available and responsive, offering great suggestions to enjoy our time there. From start to finish, everything was perfect. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay! 🌞

Wonderful place to stay. The location is perfect, we did all of our day trips from here and saw most parts of the island.

The accommodation is ideally located by the sea, very quiet, it feels good. Anny was as pleasant as could be and we can never thank her enough for her kind advice. The couple working for the house also perfectly represents Cape Verdean kindness and humility. I only have one desire, which is to go back because one night is too short to appreciate the place. See you soon🥰.

The place was very nice. We had a good time as a family and enjoyed the beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. Medugia's fine breakfast is also recommended. The location is not very suitable for hiking holidays and we recommend renting a car to explore the island. Unfortunately, the Internet did not work, which limited us, as we did not have telephone subscriptions and therefore could not directly request excursions and guides. However, Medugia kindly organized a guide for us. However, it was somewhat difficult to communicate (only Portuguese/Creole). We're missing information about the surrounding area. (Nearest restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, hiking...)

nice, spacious and clean stay. you have no locked feeling due to the many light inside and the balconies available. Everything you need is available. you walk to the beach in no time. If you want to explore the area, you can get on the bus that stops in front of the door or grab a taxi. Plenty to do in the area: restaurants, playground, museum and the city center can be reached within 5 minutes by taxi. + clean + friendly and helpful + security available + lively environment + supermarket nearby - high stairs to get to the apartment building. (There is an elevator in the building itself. Would get a key to be able to take the elevator downstairs via garage due to the stroller. In the end, it was not necessary. - can be heard a lot of wind in the house on windy days. solved with a cloth for the grate so it could no longer be heard in the house - balcony doors couldn't be locked (no problem was 8 high)

Very nice place in the center of the island of Sao Vincente, 10 minutes by taxi from mindelo. Great welcome from Sofie, very pleasant to live in, spacious and comfortable house. Great value. I recommend without reservations

Since I was in a unique position to see this apt, but stay in the XL apt, please consider this a review of both places. The apts look exactly as pictured, if not better! It def felt like home with a bed that swallows you, in a good way! The location is perfect as it's only about 15 minutes walking from the center. Close to everything, yet just far enough to have peace and quiet. A few things I'd like to correct/add from the listing. Laginha Beach is more of a 25-30 min walk from the apt & there is no elevator available. Djoy (co-host) was gracious enough to help me with my luggage! While there, the wifi did not work in the Penthouse apt & only worked about 10% of the time in the XL apt. CJ offered to have someone come out to take a look, but with me only being there 2 nights, it was more convenient for me to work from a restaurant or cafe. In the Penthouse apt, there is no AC in the bedroom, but a fan is provided. There is AC in the bedroom in the XL apt. Would I stay here again? YES!

The house is another street where it is not difficult to stop an aluguer, for a trip. Right behind the street is the sea! But where we were here it was very wild, a bathroom was not possible! From the house you can also quickly walk to Paul, where there are some restaurants and many grocery stores. We didn't cook anything in the house except coffee and tea. There are no basic food items in stock. Dieux and her partner are really very nice. On Sunday there was the traditional Cha for breakfast

Went to Porto Novo with my children. It was a very comfortable place. The people in the neighbor are very helpful and friendly. The host responds very quickly. I would definitely recommend it

A remote and peace full place with beautiful landscapes and walks in the mountains all around. Ideal for love trip and meditation. A house airy and cool. Anne Marie and Allison hyper attentives. Two little shops and a restaurant in the village. Thank u !
