Peaceful home! No noise, no light (outside at night). The National Parc is a great place with fantastic walks and amazing things to discover - go to see the Dinosaur's footprints, or the lovely chapel made with old dolmens. Be aware that the beds are narrow, not an issue unless you need space while sleeping.

Quality stay in a modern pool house apartment on the Portuguese countryside with beautiful surroundings. Super attentive and helpful hosts. House has everything you need, is clean and you get the feel they think of all the small things you need. The pool is great in a relaxing environment.

We’ve just come back from a wonderful week at Cintia & Carel’s beautiful property! They greeted us like family, and were always happy to help with anything- from how to work the air con, to recommendations for days out- they were always super responsive via text and nothing felt like any trouble! They were also really thoughtful- putting up some balloons on arrival as we mentioned celebrating our daughter’s GCSE’s, it was a lovely touch. They also left us to enjoy the place uninterrupted, understanding the need to recharge and relax- and oh my gosh- the place is STUNNING! super clean and homely inside (with everything you need) and outside is fabulous! The pool is amazing, the outside kitchen a treat, and the views are incredible. It’s even nicer than their already beautiful photos. We went for one day out to Óbidos (go there!) but honestly felt happiest enjoying relaxing at this gorgeous home they have created. We will most certainly be back! Thank you Cintia & Carel ❤️

We found Mafalda’s place a bit by chance in a wide search in the area. Coming in November, we could unfortunately not make real use of the nice surroundings of the "Country House" (maybe more a cottage). It was slightly disconcerting though to realize that after you leave the main road, take some turns, and enter the rural place with the fancy pool, the actual accommodation is located again nearly at the main road and in the evening we heard trucks. No problem at night, though. The place is cosy, which also means not very spacious but well-equipped. Some kitchen equipment could be in better shape. Heating was perfectly fine. Mafalda could not meet us on arrival, but sent very detailed instructions that made it easy for us to find the place and get in. She also responded immediately at all kinds of times to questions that came up. Later, we met her in person and interacted very nicely. All in all, we quite enjoyed our stay at the Country House and would clearly consider returning.

Ana est très accueillante, a fait les efforts pour parler notre langue, la maison est propre et bien équipée, suggestion et tout les renseignements disponibles sur places. Un lieu bohème et très reposant. Je recommande pour les personnes qui veulent se ressourcer au calme.

La maison, typique portugaise, est spacieuse (3 chambres), la terrasse est très sympathique (au soleil le matin). Nous étions au calme au milieu des oliviers (parfois les chiens du voisin aboient), nous avons même aperçu une famille de sangliers ! La salle de bain et les espaces communs/chambres étaient très propres. L'arrivée est autonome et facile. La ville la plus proche est Santarem à 20 minutes en voiture, mais il y a des supérettes à moins de 10 minutes en voiture. Nous étions cependant déçus que la piscine soit plus petite que laissaient paraître les photos (3m x 1,5m, juste pour se rafraîchir) et de ne pas avoir de barbecue au charbon alors qu'il s'agissait d'un critère important pour nous.

Der Aufenthalt war wirklich perfekt.😊 Meine Freundin und ich haben die Unterkunft gebucht, um die Feira Golegã, das Lusitanofestival in Golegã, zu besuchen. Mit dem Auto war es von der Unterkunft perfekt in 40-50 Minuten zu erreichen, sodass wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen haben. Joanna war super freundlich, hat uns empfangen, uns alles gezeigt und uns die besten Empfehlungen für die Gegend gegeben, sodass wir immer toll essen konnten etc. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen. 🫶🏻

The host was responsive and welcoming, making check-in and communication smooth from start to finish. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet close to everything I needed. I especially appreciated the cozy touches, the well-equipped kitchen and the quiet. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay!
