Family-friendly vacation rentals in Santarém

The hosts were very nice and always responsive. The apartment and pool area were as shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, there were many flies in the area in July, and an insect repellent spray is helpful. Nevertheless, our stay was very nice and recommended the Airbnb.

Beautiful house by the beach! We loved the peace and the view. The house is very comfortable and has a lot of charm (and a lovely little library). The kitchen especially is well-stocked. Since you’re surrounded by nature there are many spiders, snakes and lizards (mostly outside, thankfully). We visited in November and the temperature in the house really dropped at night (from 20C to 15C). The only option to heat is a small and somewhat noisy space heater, so if you visit in winter be prepared with warm clothes. That was the only thing we found difficult during an otherwise extremely pleasant stay. Pedro was a very friendly and engaged host!

This apartment is spacious, very clean, centrally located and nicely decorated. Hosts are so sweet and made us feel welcome and cared for. We would definitely visit again!

Anne was super helpful and gracefully let me change my booking at the last minute. Quick to respond. Her 'assitant' Rachelle who was there and took care of the check-in was equally friendly and responsive. The apartment was great, ideal for a family of 4 or 5. One balcony looks directly out to the beach and the Atlantic, which is literally just across the road. Private, secure parking. Very clean. Very quiet in April. Nazare and the big waves (if you are lucky enough) are just 12 min drive down the road.

It was a week of well spent vacation, where we had everything we needed in the apartment (utensils/services/machines) as communicated to us by Mr. Luis. In the vicinity there are excellent places of gastronomy with good price/quality ratio. The place is quiet and with good access both for walking and to discover new destinations by car.

You can tell that the family actually use the house as it had everything we needed. The children appreciated all of the toys.

Truly magical. A wonderful flat with everything you’d ever need with equal size terrace you could spend all day on. The view is spectacular. We didn’t want to leave. Parking was easy and there was a lovely bakery just a minute walk away. Edite was a wonderful host. Nazaré and its surroundings were beautiful and definitely a highlight of our trip.

I loved it, I went with my dog. Great for resting. You can take a walk around the space. I loved it.

Very interesting accommodation, lots of antique and original items, but unfortunately there is no place to store clothes and suitcases. The sleeping area is upstairs, it is impossible to lift suitcases there. The mill is old, so there is a musty smell. Beautiful garden.

The villa is well equipped and is a great location as a starting point for day trips, multiple coast locations within 20 - 30 minutes. The villa has all you can need for a family holiday, the pool is big enough for a family holiday it has a small shelf step which my granddaughter (3yrs old) used to help with her swimming which was great. The host is very responsive if you need any help and provided simple but clear answers. Would recommend for a family holiday as long as you had a car, there is limited access to restaurants local to the property but not a negative for our family but worth knowing.

We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

This home was great for my family of 4. It had everything we needed and was central to many towns and sites to visit. There is a wonderful outdoor space, though there is currently construction going on next door. Overall we had a great stay.

Fully renovated and equipped historic stone house; white towels and linens; comfortably accommodated five adults; new appliances; all rooms are very spacious; the more rural location requires the use of your own vehicle. However, the location is strategic for visiting historic cities in the region. Highlight the Roman road behind the property and the property itself. The host is to be congratulated.

The house is exactly as described, you can for sure rely on previous comments on how Clara, Fernando, and the sister Cati, are thoughtful, we felt like we were being received by our own family. You have supermarket, the beach, and good restaurants very close, you can for sure leave your car parked and go walking. The kitchen is fully equipped as we didn’t miss nothing. For sure a place to go back to and enjoy the better the pool, snooker and have a good ride of bike.

Peaceful home! No noise, no light (outside at night). The National Parc is a great place with fantastic walks and amazing things to discover - go to see the Dinosaur's footprints, or the lovely chapel made with old dolmens. Be aware that the beds are narrow, not an issue unless you need space while sleeping.

The house is everything we could expect from the photos and description and host Filipa is very friendly and attentive, without being boring. You've exceeded expectations. An experience to repeat!

One of the best Airbnb we've stayed with the family. 3 bedrooms with great beds, 2 bathrooms, a nice little courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue. Very well equipped house (coffee pod machine with pods, dishwasher, washing machine, etc.) . José and his wife were at our disposal: great basket of wine, cheese and charcuterie upon arrival, hearty breakfast every morning with homemade and artisanal products... Really perfect!!!

A wonderful place to reset the bustling life of everyday life! An extremely clean and beautiful house with everything we need at our disposal. Highlight the wonderful garden and the swimming pool. Finally, we commend Sara's friendliness and her availability! We already look forward to having a reunion in this amazing home! 😊
