Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Santa Maria Maior

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Patricia et Ricardo. Leur maison est très jolie et meme s'il reste encore quelques travaux de décoration, on se sent vite à la maison. Nous étions avec notre bebe de 8 mois et Patricia a tout fait pour que nous nous sentions bien. Elle nous a préparé un joli lit bebe et avait meme une chaise haute pour ses petits déjeuners. La piscine est agréable, le jardin un peu nu mais calme et ensoleillé. Les chambres de la maison sont plus charmantes que celles de l'annexe, tres propres, mais plus impersonnelles. La Quinta est vraiment a 10min du centre de la tres jolie ville de Sintra, où l'on trouve de délicieux restaurants et où on peut faire de supers balades. 30 min de Lisbonne, 20 min de Cascais et 10 min de tres jolies plages. L'arrière pays est tout aussi beau, et l'on pourrait passer des semaines à visiter la région en rentrant se reposer tranquillement à la Quinta. Bref, séjour au top, je recommande.

We had a lovely stay in Patricia & Ricardo’s home, they could not have been sweeter. Anything we asked for, they had the answer to and could helps us. The home is so beautiful and whilst the pool is shared, there are a lot of sun beds and it was so peaceful to be there. They guided me to a local bakery which was incredible and honestly, we did not find it out of the way at all- in fact we preferred that it was a little outside Sintra. It gave us that much more peace and we were able to explore the place much more! It was such a magical time and Patricia and Ricardo were dream hosts!

I cannot say enough about this bed and breakfast even though we were only there one night. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly smile by the front desk associate, Ignacio. He even helped us carry our luggage up the stairs. This was so helpful as both my best friend and I had difficulty with carrying heavy luggage up the steps. We were pleasantly surprised when Ignacio gave us the tour of the bed and breakfast and all that it had to offer. The common areas were so clean and well taken care of. Very comfy bed and pillows which made for a restful night's sleep. What we both loved the most was the dining area. We had a late night snack and a delicious breakfast with so many items to choose from. We wished we had booked this Airbnb for our first few days in Lisbon, as we were so impressed with all the little touches it had to offer. Will definitely book a much longer stay when I return to Lisbon. WONDERFUL HOSPITALITY and a WONDERFUL STAY Chalet D'Avila!

What a dream and most unique stay: Beautiful big house like a fairytale castle with a big lush garden and pool - plus the lovely host Theresa. Perfect getaway in Sintra! We had the very cute pink room - big and spacious with a gorgeous view. We would come back any time. An absolutely recommended experience!

Rewelacyjne miejsce, ciepło, czysto, cicho, można spokojnie chodzić po całym domu - czułam się prawie jak u siebie :) Super gospodarz - miły i pomocny. Zdecydowanie polecam!

Hôtes supers accueillants et très bienveillants. Dés qu’on avait une question à poser, toujours de bons conseils. On ne pouvait avoir mieux, nous sommes ravis et nous avons passés un séjour au top !

Een hele nette kamer. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Gedeelde badkamer, was heel schoon en netjes. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd en de ligging is geweldig. Ov in de buurt, treinstation, metro en bus. Hele goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. We komen zeker nog een keer terug als we in Lissabon zijn.

Most magical Airbnb stay ever! In the beginning you don’t really know how everything works, but it became clear that they are very relaxed and it made you feel at home. For instance there is a little fridge with some drinks you can take and you just have to leave a note and pay for it in the end of your booking. It was very private and calm. We enjoyed it very much!

Un emplacement de choix pour une belle visite de la de la ville de Lisbonne. Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans le logement de Luis . La chambre était bien aménagée avec une salle de bain privée, une très belle vue sur la ville et un petit balcon. L’emplacement parfait. À quelques minutes de marche de plusieurs attractions, restaurant, transports en commun. Facile de rejoindre Luis durant le séjour. Il était également présent sur les lieux certains matins lors du petit déjeuner pour nous donner des conseils et recommandations. Sinon c’était des membres de son équipe qui étaient là pour nous aider. Le prix du logement était très abordable compte tenu que le petit déjeuner était inclus. Celui-ci était complet et frais préparés à chaque matin par son équipe. Je recommande vivement ce logement pour tous ceux qui veulent visiter tranquillement la ville de Lisbonne et séjourner dans un lieu chaleureux. **attention, il faut tenir compte des 3 étages à monter** Un grand merci! Gostei muito do alojamento. O contacto com o Manuel foi muito positivo. Este foi muito simpático e cordial. Enviou as instruções de check-in com muita clareza e foi fácil fazer o check-in autónomo. O pessoal que encontrei no pequeno-almoço (em especial a D. Ana) foi muito simpático. O quarto não desiludiu, tinha tudo o que era preciso e estava muito limpo.

Un weekend prolongé plus que parfait chez Michel et Emy qui nous ont accueillis avec une grande gentillesse et disponibilité. La chambre était grande et parfaitement propre, et nous avons profité de la maison, de la piscine et du jardin fleuri. Mention spéciale pour le petit-déjeuner, copieux et délicieux. Nous recommandons ce logement à 100%!

Worthwhile change from the standard AirBnb. It has more space and is more akin to a very upmarket bed and breakfast. Shared bathroom with one other room, not a problem and highlight was the provision of washing service for a small fee. Nice to share breakfast in a large breakfast room with other travellers. Recommended for those wanting a different AirBnb experience.

We stayed just one night, but it left a mark on our hearts. Michel kindly let us check in early without hesitation, and that kindness carried through our stay. We arrived in the afternoon and got back late after dinner, struggling with the gate. Michel, knowing we weren’t in yet, was awake and came out to help us without a hint of frustration. I had mentioned it was my birthday, and the next morning, his sweet wife surprised me with a homemade cake. They served a fresh vegetarian breakfast with organic jams, crisp croissants, and the best orange juice I’ve ever had. Their home is peaceful, with a serene garden, stylish boho room, pool, and secure parking. Before we left late that morning, I invited them to join us while I cut the cake, they sang in Portuguese, and I felt so loved. They host not for money, but for joy. We left feeling so full and already plan to return, next time, we want to take Mr. & Mrs. Michel with us for a one-day outing. 100/10.

My husband and I absolutely loved this stay, and hope to be back soon. The room was clean, beautifully decorated with big windows and a gorgeous view. The staff were friendly and approachable, and very accommodating of our extra requests. Every detail of this place was thoughtfully made right down to the continental breakfast. I have already suggested friends to stay here. It truly is a wonderful space. Thank you for hosting us xox
