Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Santa Maria

We stayed at a few places in Italy this summer, coming from Rome to Napoli and finally Fabio's place in the South. I have to say this was my favourite stay. The place is very private, easy to access, close to other local beaches if you have a car. Fabio's dad was so welcoming, made us feel right at home. The house has all the amenities needed and is clean and easy to maintain. This is a fantastic place if you have children. Hopefully we will be back 🙂

Pasquale was really very friendly and accommodating. He answered every question right away and was able to help us with any concerns. Check-in & check-out was straightforward and the proximity of the beach was really the highlight for us. You should know that the accommodation is more suitable for two people and offers a little little space for three (and not enough cutlery, chairs, etc.) but for both of us it was more than sufficient. The water was great, wifi worked great, everything important was nearby (shopping, pharmacy, ..). The only desirable would be air conditioning, as the ceiling fan may not be sufficient for the people who are not accustomed to the climate. We would come back any time and really enjoyed our time in Tropea at Pasquale.

Very clean and well equipped apartment in short walking distance to the old town of Tropea and to the beach. The highlight is the terrace with an incomparable sea view, on a clear day you can see the Stromboli volcano and the sundown is fantastic.

Francesca immediately proved to be available and met our needs. The house was tidy and well maintained, we particularly appreciated the terrace. Francesca was also extremely helpful in giving us directions and solutions. An extraordinary welcome.

Apartment with a beautiful view of Tropea , Stromboli and the beautiful sea. Highly recommended for those like us looking for tranquility and landscape. A villa with great attention to detail. Very nice pool. Marcello is a helpful and kind person. The apartment is very simple. I recommend bringing dish soap, toilet paper, and water.

An excellent apartment in a friendly and genuine village … We’ve just returned from a superb holiday in the village of Santa Domenica. What a great apartment. Spacious and well equipped, super clean, with a decent balcony and pool with a sun bathing area. No negatives for us at all. Everything we needed food wise was in the village ; a couple of supermarkets, a really good food/bric a brac market on Mondays, a bakery, fishmonger (that serves meals also), cafe/bars, 4/5 restaurants (Il Casale was our favourite). We used Santa Domenica as a base for a few days out to Pizzo and Scilla (both beautiful and, we thought, easily as nice as Tropea. A number of beaches are accessible from Santa Domenica but these involve walks which aren’t always easy when it’s 30+ degrees. And our host ? Teresa was ace. Picked us up from the Railway Station, gave us loads of decent recommendations and responded immediately to any questions we had. A great holiday !

A perfect summer appartment with everything you need, in a beautiful location. Everything was absolutely perfect and Giovanni is truly the kindest person ever :)

Francesco was a super host, very accommodating and helpful. The place was perfect for our stay, very central to shop, restaurants and near the stairs to the beach. Great spot!

Everything comes together for a great stay for families or groups of friends: -The villa is very spacious, comfortable, clean and well-equipped. - The garden is beautiful and very well maintained. - The private pool, the jacuzzi, the panoramic view of the mountainous countryside and the medieval castle of Squillace offer a cozy and relaxing setting. -The coast and the nearby beaches are very beautiful, typical restaurants. And Martina and Thomas, with their advice and kindness, will pay special attention to make this moment special for you.

Highly recommend. Large bedroom / office, great wifi, clean, safe, private, cleaning equipment. 5 minute walk into the center of the village.

Concettas's house is more than just a place to stay, it's an experience! Nicola showed us around and pointed out interesting aspects of the home. From the huge, old, front door key, to the stair-well trap door to great extra space, it was a great way to arrive. It's old, but well-restored, quaint, cosy and unique. The outside terrace is great for having meals and just for sitting, absorbing the sounds. Concetta and Nicola are great hosts - very friendly and Concetta gave us recommendations of restuarants and places to visit. We loved it and were sad to leave.

Adriano was realy helpful, he drove us to the train so we did not have to carry our bags. The appartment is located in the center, close to everything. And the view from the appartments is absolut wonderful.

Wonderful location - private, serene, and gorgeous. Philip and Antonia were lovely hosts, they took care to provide lots of recommendations and explain the house. The house itself is beautiful and had all the necessities for us to stay in and cook for the week, especially using the sweet local red onions! The view is incredible and the private beach was our daily exercise - we loved it! We'll be back!

We really enjoyed our stay, the accommodation has everything you need for a good rest, very well located to get to both the beach and the historic center. The welcome with homemade sweets made by the host was a nice touch. Thank you for everything!!

Very homely, like walking into someone’s home! Lots of added extras. Lovely clean linen and towels…. Amazing balcony to spend lazy days and watch the sunset over the mountains…. Close proximity to town.

We were fully satisfied with the stay . A nice quiet and quiet apartment in the greenery, satisfied requests regarding the borrowing of kitchen utensils that the host kindly gave us, the convenience of the location to reach Tropea and surroundings (of course with the car, since the house overlooks the state road). Friendly, friendly and always available and available host. Highly recommended

The apartment was in a beautiful, quiet area with a magnificent sunset that you can watch. Mary was wonderful and helpful!

Franco's apartment was a very good decision. The apartment as described, Franco is a nice and very helpful person. he answered all the questions, recommended places to visit. I sincerely recommend staying with Franco when you are in Kalabri.

The view from the balcony was wonderful! The pictures of this apartment don’t do it justice. The balcony was big enough for two to enjoy coffee or wine. Really felt like a local but had enough restaurants around. Everything was walkable up and down hill. The apartment was not so big, but very comfortable for two. Can’t say much about how the kitchen worked, because who wants to cook when so much Italian food is at your doorstep? However, we were there the day many things closed down at the beginning of November. Still, we found good places to eat. Would recommend this apartment.

We had a really lovely stay at Franco's place! The place was clean, beautiful and had everything one might need. Would have loved to stay there for even longer than a few days. Most of the praise needs to be directed at Franco himself though, he was extremely kind and helpful. He even gave us some delicious grapes from his own garden and gave us rides from Lamezia Terme and back. The garden itself offered many places to relax, either just for sitting down or even lying down in a hammock. The sandy beach is only a 10-15 minute walk away. All in all, would highly recommend!

It is in a beautiful area, very well located, just 10 minutes from the train station. It's the historic center, there's movement all the time. And 3 minutes away you have the stairs to go to the beach. The apartment is spacious, divided into two floors. The first floor has the entrance hall and a bedroom. Upstairs is the bathroom, kitchen, dining room and an armchair that becomes a bed. One consideration, the air conditioning is only upstairs, so in our case, since it was so hot, we decided to sleep on the couch and we were perfect this way. Definitely recommended!
