Formally Whiting Bros., the Americana has been serving travelers in Albuquerque for decades. More recently it’s been a film location for Stranger Things (season 4), Seth Rogen’s The Preacher & The Cleaning Lady (those are the ones we know of, maybe more). Old fashioned charm, clean, no frills. Just an old motel on Route 66. Public transportation within walking distance. Several great restaurants close as well as few dispensaries plus SkiHi, a take-out liquor store.
