Discover Casa Plúmula

BrandonRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Amy’s place was exactly what I needed for my 5 week stay in Oaxaca. The house is a beautiful mix of traditional and modern. A simple and well designed space with everything I needed. The San Felipe neighborhood is a bit far from all the happenings in the city but if you’re comfortable being a bit off the beaten path and learn how the local buses work it makes for nice escape. Would definitely stay here again!

Casa Roché 3 Col. Reforma Oaxaca

VioletaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Jorge was attentive to my arrival by message and gave me very clear instructions to get there easily. At the house, his brother Fernando was the one who looked after us, super friendly, attentive and very aware of the messages I sent him. He also gave us recommendations on where to eat and how to enjoy our stay. What was fantastic is that the photos matched the house, everything was very well maintained, and each room had a smart TV, ceiling fan and standing cooler, so we didn't suffer from the heat in the house. I highly recommend staying at Casa Roche.

Bajo las Bugambilias: A Refuge in Oaxaca

AudreyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
WOW. where to begin. Marcela and Angeles home was fantastic. Their communication was excellent. They greeted us upon arrival and allowed an early check in . They also had hot Oaxacan chocolate , juice , cookies and fruit waiting for us. Their home was very spacious. with 2 second floor balconies. The hot water in the showers and kitchen sink was piping hot and plentiful. The wifi was extremely fast. The beds were very comfortable. just the right amount of soft. Each bedroom was well appointed. The bedding was good quality and soft. 4 pillows each bed. Bedside tables and lamps and hangers etc. 2 seating areas with comfortable furniture and large screen TVs with English and Spanish stations. Youtube and Netflix. The bathrooms had lovely towels and you can flush the toilet paper. ( which is not common in Mexico) . The kitchen had everything you need. including coffee & tea. oil and spices for cooking. 15-20 min. walk to Central square. The stair headroom is low. Will stay again.

An accommodation that's worth what you pay for. Although the area is not very close to the center, it offers speed on the main avenues. It's not difficult to get there and the house is in a safe area. It has extra amenities that sometimes make you want to stay in the house, excellent accommodation.

Casana. An oasis in the heart of Oaxaca

JaneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a lovey spot for our family to gather and have a home base as we explored Oaxaca. It was perfect for us and we loved our time there. Mariana was helpful in her recommendations and there was never a need to contact her during our stay as the home provided everything we needed. It was also so very nice to have Raquel to clean for us and Efrain to manage the pool and outdoor spaces. We highly recommend this spot for travel to Oaxaca.

Comfort in Historical building - Espacio del Punto

AlejandroRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I would happily stay here again! The location is quiet and short walking distance to all the restaurants in town. Oaxaca is an old rustic city & the house reflects the rustic aesthetic of the city. The house is a sleeper from the exterior. Once inside you see the biggest selling point of this house--4 separate spaces for guests to hang out. The kitchen is the central hub. The courtyard is green with vegetation and hummingbirds. The terrace overlooks the city and is amazing. Also on the 2nd floor is a sun deck and 2 person pool. The 3 bedrooms are spacious and 3 bathrooms are plenty. Master bedroom has ensuite bathroom and other large bedroom has bathroom just two steps away. The many gathering areas beat a hotel any day. Mari managed the property while we were there and you can arrange for in home prepared meals. Nothing short of AMAZING. Her mole equaled the Michelin star restaurants in town. We did tours with Zapotec Travel, which were great.

Eclectic studio with views of Oaxaca City

AaronRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The apartment is just like the photos. Artsy, comfortable, well stocked kitchen, and most strikingly, an incredible view. The apartment is a bit removed from the center of town (about 20 mins walking to santo domingo, for example, and you get your exercise walking up the hill), but this is compensated but the wonderful terrace with panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains, not to mention that it's much quieter here than it is in the center of town. Yolanda is a wonderful and responsive host. Weekly cleaning included free of charge. Highly recommend!

The bungalow is very tidy, with the necessary amenities, a super comfortable bed that we wanted to take and a huge garden so our dog can run and loiter. We had a very relaxed and peaceful time. I'd like to come back when it's all greener. Thank you so much for everything Claude!

Ecológical Bungalow "Rodrigo" Near to Monte Alban

BridgetteRating, 5 stars7 months ago
What a treat to stay at Karmen's! Great views, friendly neighbors, lots of amazing birds right outside your doorstep, in walking distance to the archeological site Monte Alban, small stores to get food, and the artist town of Arrazola where they make alebrijes. Also, the internet was reliable enough that I could work from home (using video calls)! The spot is about a half hour outside of the city by mototaxi, so the air is cleaner and it's more peaceful than you'll find elsewhere. Karmen has planted hundreds of native trees and plants on the land so there are lots of pollinators, gorgeous butterflies, flowers, and a couple of very sweet dogs. Karmen was a great host- proactive, responsive, and kind. She generously invited me to many incredible events locally and in the city. She is very well connected in the artist and healing communities. What a great deal! Hope to be back soon.

This place is super cute and comfortable. The kitchen is complete with everything you need (coffee maker, blender, stove, utensils, Tupperware etc). The shower is hot, the internet is strong enough for zoom calls. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Plenty of natural light. It is a 40 min walk to downtown or an 80-120 peso taxi ride. There is a grocery store near by and restaurants walking distance. I recommend this place. I would stay there again.

Entire house in Oaxaca

IlseRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Mirtha's place is very comfortable. You have everything you need to spend a good stay. We were able to take our dog and it has a little doggy for the dog to come out there. It's a good location near downtown. If you don't carry a car, there are collective taxis that pass in the corner and take you to downtown. We had a problem with a chapa that was closed to us and Mirtha was quickly there to solve it. She was on hold the entire time. The only detail is that there are a lot of loose big dogs on the streets outside, then if you carry dog you need to be careful.
