Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Santa Cruz Island

A very nice place equipped near a park for the children we really liked the stay there I did not have the pleasure of meeting Ana very much but I thought I was an excellent host to consider the internet since in itself it is not so good and the TV stopped x moments but it is something manageable since on the island you are going to enjoy its places

Very good location. The accommodation is next to pharmacies, bakery, supermarkets. The pool is nice. The house is excellently equipped both for living and for going out with diving gear. Each bedroom is spacious and has its own bathroom. The kitchen has plenty of dishes to cook in. Barbara is very nice and responsive to our requests and needs. We recommend this place to stay for families or groups of friends.

Charles and Ximena were great hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Galapagos Cottages is an excellent location clos e to Tortuga Bay. Also, the coffee, milk be beer in the frigde was perfect.

Location location location! Walkable to all stores, restaurants and the port. Casa Tortuga was better than the pictured as the entrance had a beautiful little garden with flowers and fruit. Tortuga bay is a 30 mts walk from the property but very easy to follow. All Utilities available in the kitchen and great selection of books. My daughter managed to find and finish Congo! The restaurant recommendations in the book was very helpful. It would help if the distance to each restaurant was listed as we were new to the neighborhood. Another recommendation is folks can have an English speaking driver as it would have been good to communicate on the way.. Thank you for promptly responding and answering our questions and for also helping with the taxi service. Highly Recommend this property to all families and couples.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time at Janet and Juan Carlos’ place. The location was ideal - stone’s throw from some of the best restaurants on the island and an easy water taxi ride away from the town side of Puerto Ayora. Juan Carlos was in and out in a separate house on the property and very responsive to any questions we had. We were out most of the time on various day trips but it was a great place to come back to, unwind and enjoy the pool. Our thanks to both Janet and Juan Carlos for being terrific and welcoming hosts!

Ana is a wonderful host and we loved the location, a short walk to the beach and had the best wifi we have found on Galapagos. Plenty of room and really great kitchen. Thanks Ana, we will be coming back!

this is a 5 star review summary: I will most definitely book this location again. pos: host is extremely responsive, and offered solid recommendations for travel and services pos: location is close to downtown (15 minute leisurely walk to ferry, less than 10 to darwin research) with plenty of mini markets and restaurants within 10 pos: beds comfortable, plenty of storage spaces, very secure. neighborhood feels very safe pos: pictures are exact, property is well furnished and well decorated. a fantastic place to spend a week or more in the galapagos neg: like most multi story structures in S America, tight winding stairway may be tough for elderly. Not a criticism of this host, but be aware there are no bedrooms on entry level. neg: as with all properties in the city of puerto ayora, expect to hear trucks coming and going at all hours. no late night restaurant or bar noise.

Very comfortable and cozy apartment. I would highly recommend it. If I return to Galapagos, I will return to the same apartment.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The apartment is comfortable, the kitchen has everything it needs and some lovely extras, like coffee and spices. Lucia has a delicious restaurant right below the apartment so it’s easy to pop down for a drink and or a snack. The food is great there! The personnel are very helpful and sweet as well! One thing to be aware of is the apartment is right on top of a mangrove area so sometimes there’s some odor that floats up from the tide zone. We used a little bit of incense they gave us which helped! The view from the porch is lovely!

We absolutely loved our stay at Jonnathans, the apartment is lovely and has a fantastically equipped kitchen. The showers are great. Jonnathan is an excellent host who provided clear instructions and assisted us with any questions we had regarding onward travel, tours or restaurant recommendations. Gracias Jonnathan !

We stayed for 6 days and had an excellent experience. The service was outstanding—Mr. Ernesto was very kind and always available to answer any questions. The house is in a great location, just 5 blocks from the port where all the tours depart. There are shops, restaurants, and everything you need nearby. It’s also close to Tortuga Bay, so you can walk there easily. Super well located! Everything was spotlessly clean: towels, sheets, and floors. The kitchen is fully equipped, and Mr. Ernesto kindly provided us with water, salt, oil, and other basics, which we truly appreciated. We felt completely at home and I give it a solid 10 out of 10. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Galápagos looking for comfort, cleanliness, and warm hospitality. Thank you for everything! It was safe for a family with children. Close to a bank, food and the main road

I had the pleasure of staying here for 6 weeks and I highly recommend it for the comforts of home. Conny is a great host, friendly, kind, and very responsive and she shared great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The location of the apartment is ideal, a quiet neighborhood that is an easy walk to the main roads, pier, and Tortuga Bay, and the small private outdoor area is a bonus that I loved. The washer and dryer made my long stay easier, as did the fresh water tap in the kitchen for drinking water. I made many meals at home and the kitchen is well-supplied with the basics. I miss it already and will definitely want to stay here again when I return.

The apartment is super cozy, spacious, and nicely decorated. It's located in the very center of Puerto Ayora, all the points of interest are within walking distance. The hosts are very friendly, proactive and willing to go an extra mile to make sure you have everything you need.

Javier (host) was the best part about our stay. His kindness and amazing hospitality made us feel right at home. His breakfasts and freshly made coffee just took the stay here to another level. The place is nice and close to downtown Santa Cruz. Highly recommend! It is also very very safe.

This is a great find! although there were renovations, the host was very accommodating to work around it. Veronica and Javier absolutely made this AirBnB one of the best I've ever stayed in! William was a recommended driver direct from the host and he was also worth his weight in gold! Bikes were provided along with helmets and the Port is within 10 minutes walking. I loved everything about our stay and we will definitely return!

What an open peaceful space! The porch was spectacular and we spent a lot of time sitting out there. It was an easy walk to almost anything. The AlMar restaurant was a three minute walk with delicious food and drinks as well as being right on the water. We loved how open and airy the space was and the air conditioning was much appreciated especially for sleeping! Thank you to Matthew for meeting us and answering all our questions!

Excellent stay. The place has all the necessary amenities for a family group and the location is close to the main points of the island. A recommended option, no question.

Enrique Veronica and Javier were excellent host during our stay for the week. Not only did we have breakfast every morning exactly when we asked there was a variety of different items that were served. Additionally, Veronica helped out immensely with tours and even getting our laundry done. We would highly recommend this location and in future trips we will stay again.
