A typically newyorkan style semi-loft space, the property is located in one of the very best areas in Barcelona - at walking distance from the city centre, the city’s main avenue Paseo de Gracia and Gaudi’s famous buildings. Enchanting and welcoming, the loft is divided in two main areas - a wide sitting/dining room with integrated kitchen on one hand and open space bedroom and bathroom on the other. By the way, you don't want to forget to take a nice relaxing long bath! You know why? The bathroom will surprise you with a fabulous Jacuzzi! Thick brick walls, high ceilings with fully restored rustic Catalan wooden elements add onto the property that special note of history and character that makes it unique. The deco is vintage while it benefits of great interior natural light thanks to the exterior balconies on two sides - overlooking Aribau Street. The furniture varies from vintage items to unique pieces I found in antiques markets and I then personally restored, to a few modern units - all in all giving the place a personal charm! The flat sleeps up to 4 people thanks to its very comfortable sofa bed. Nevertheless, don't forget that the space is limited and a good degree of friendship is required to share a reduced space! The flat is fully equipped and you will need to bring but your suitcase to come and enjoy your stay in Barcelona! It has all been sorted for you: bathroom towels, bedding, air/con, central heating, kettle, toaster, washing machine, dryer, etc, are included! On top of that you will find available some of the basic kitchen ingredients like milk, bread, sugar, salt, olive oil...and....surprise!...a bottle of local wine ...to get you nicely relaxed on your holiday! I am a mum of two - so should you need any baby equipment - no need to travel it over - I could help with that! Before arrival I will send you an email with my best recommendations on the local cultural and gastronomical offer. A last important note! Aribau Street is well known for its restaurants, bars and liveliness! At times it can be noisy. But no worries! The flat is fully sound proof! HUTB 009406 Hi everyone! We are renting our nice and modern and centric apartment. It's sunny and quiet; perfect for couple and professionals! It's only 2 min walking to the metro station el Clot (line red and purple: 10 min for Catalunya square and only 4 min for la Sagrada Familia). In the same station is available the Renfe train to and from the airport of Bcn (30 min) The building (only five years old) is located in a nice zone, well connected with the touristic parts of the city and not so crowded. You can walk to the beaches of Poble Nou in about 20 minutes, and you are very close to the tower Agbar, the National theatre, the Encants market and every kind of store and restaurants. Lieu calme à proximité de Barcelone. Nous avons apprécié la propreté du logement et les instructions claires. De nombreux équipements sont disponibles, c'est très fonctionnel. La terrasse est appréciable et la communication avec l'hôte très fluide. Nous ne sommes pas restées assez longtemps pour profiter de l'extérieur et des environs mais le quartier résidentiel semble très charmant.

Die Unterkunft von Sònia ist Top ausgestattet und liegt in einer ruhigen, schönen Gegend – perfekt zum Entspannen. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt war die Nachbarin gegenüber, die häufig aus dem Fenster schaute, was zeitweise ein Gefühl des Beobachtetwerdens vermittelte. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt wirklich sehr angenehm. Gerne wieder!

AirBnB homes are so corporate in their presentations now, wanting to appear as 5-star resorts. And, it is nothing wrong with that. But, if I wanted to stay in a hotel, I would have chosen to stay in a hotel. No, I wanted charm...something warm...something that appeared lived-in and loved. And this exactly what Mar's home presented to me. Yes, as some previous reviewers have noted; the home's farcade appears aged, and it's noticeable. But, that's when the charm begins to sit in. You start to look for other imperfections and you simply won't find them unless you are hard to please. The home is spacious, unique in style, well-equipped, and picturesque. More importantly, the hosts are execptional people that care about their guests. I had an issue at the home one night of my stay. Mar and Marc went above and beyond their call of duty as hosts to rectify the problem and made sure I was cared for. That was impressive to me. That added to the charm...made me feel loved!

I loved my stay here! Few things to mention: you really need a car if you live here, since the train is 40 mins away by walk, same for grocery stores, 25 minutes to get to Mercadona. Relying on taxi is not the best idea. It’s not bad, but it’s better to keep it in mind. I honestly think that you get the best of both worlds living here. Chill atmosphere in the valley and close proximity to Barcelona (25 mins by train). The host is really friendly and ready to help.

Wir haben uns die Unterkunft für einen JGA ausgesucht. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr gut mit Jack verstanden und er hat bei alle Fragen freundliche, zuvorkommend und schnell geantwortet. Die Villa war es definitiv wert. Bei Problemen war Jack immer sofort zur Stelle und immer hilfsbereit. Diese Unterkunft ist von außen eher unscheinbar und bescherte uns einige Wow-Momente. Man hat alles da was man braucht. Für Einkäufe ist ein Mietwagen von Vorteil und ein Supermarkt mit allem was man braucht ist unter 10min zu erreichen. Wenn wir wieder nach Barcelona gehen ist diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall unsere Nummer eins. Der Pool mit dem integrierten Whirlpool ist einfach der Hingucker der Villa. man hat den ganzen Tag Sonne und auch der Sonnenuntergang ist atemberaubend. Das Design und auch die gesamte Atmosphäre der Unterkunft war beeindruckend. Man fühlt sich zu keiner Sekunde unwohl. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf einen weiteren Besuch.
