Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Sanford

This home is spacious and very clean. The rooms all smelled so fresh and clean from the moment we walked in. The location is private and serene. Loved seeing the swans on the lake. All the ladies on our girls’ trip loved this place so much. We would definitely love to visit again.

Our visit was wonderful! Joy was very helpful and responsive with any questions leading up to our visit to her home! The deck by the lake was so peaceful to sit by, and the adults enjoyed the lake gear! Highly recommend! House had everything we needed! Master bedroom and bath was such a nice retreat!

I needed a quiet escape after a death in my family, and Erin’s place checked all the boxes. The home was clean and cozy. I highly recommend if you need somewhere peaceful to recharge away from it all.

The house was immaculate! Amazingly clean, and updated. The photos do NOT do this house justice! The beds were incredibly comfortable, even the bunk beds! Whoever decorated and designed this house put in exceptional attention to detail. The owners were more than accommodating helping with any questions we had. The only thing we would do differently is hosting our actual wedding HERE. There is a perfect space for a ceremony just slightly on a hill, but definitely doable! Perfect spot for many occasions!

This was the perfect place to break up a long trip. It was hands down one of the cleanest rentals we have found in a while!! Everything worked well, the house plan is laid out really well - it's surprisingly very spacious and was quiet for a much needed night of rest before another long leg of our journey. We were looking for a place for a friend reunion before a wedding and this space was perfect. It comfortably fit 7 adults. We loved how peaceful it was. The host was very responsive and helpful during the whole stay.

For my first time being in North Carolina, it truly helped elevate the experience with such a beautiful location filled with trees surrounding and nature. Mohmeet was always responsive and attentive to anything I needed and worked their best to provide the very best. Erin's place was spacious, well decorated, and comfortable. The place included extra amenities with white noise machine in bedrooms, games for the kid, and extra towels and linens. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all items needed for short stay and for cooking. Erin was very friendly, responsive, and proactive in instructions. Overall, the place feels peaceful and secluded.

Great spot to stay. Very close to downtown. I was taking Lime scooters in to a conference and was there in 5-10 minutes. Apartment was clean and looked just like the pictures

I loved everything about Jeanette's tiny house AirBnB. I felt inspired to have stayed there for three nights. I got a lot of work accomplished for my clients while staying there. As well as now feeling rested and ready for the next leg of my journey. Even the exterior and interiordesign of this tiny house inspired me. I hope one day I'll be able to design and build something that evokes the same feeling of spaciousness in such a small space—perhaps as a studio for my creative projects that might also double as a place where my visitors might stay. Highly recommended!

Eight of us rented this house for a book club 20th anniversary celebration. It is an older building, but has been beautifully renovated and modernized. The kitchen was well-equipped, including basic supplies and the entire place was immaculate. I believe this is the first Airbnb I have rented that had enough towels for everyone. It also had a lovely back porch for morning coffee and adequate parking. The owners answered any questions almost immediately in addition to providing detailed information about the house and Durham on their Airbnb page. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Durham.

This was not my first stay at the Scout House, and it will not be my last. Everything about it is perfection - from the location, to the property, to the sensational hosts (Marie & BJ). My stay was delightful in every way and I cannot wait to return!

Peaceful, private and clean. Met expectations and then some. We really enjoyed ourselves, as did our dog, and appreciate hosts allowing our furry best friend to be with us. Beautiful field and natural surroundings. A lovely escape. Road noise is detectable as per the information, but did not detract from our experience. The sound of songbirds in the morning was heavenly. Saw a Carolina Wren sitting on five eggs in its nest. Excellent communication via messages and written and app instructions. Love the outdoor lights. Very impressed the owners are aware of nature’s need of darkness, so turned off outdoor lights when not in use (outdoor lights confuse migratory birds, for example) and felt safe. Hoping to return soon!

Split Rock is one of the best experiences you can have, as it is both eye catching and breathtaking. Loads of amazing amenities and fun activity to pursue within the space. Jenny and Peter outdo themselves as hosts, creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere. I’m very appreciative to have booked my stay with them as they are very understanding and helpful. Please consider booking your trip at their lovely estate, you will really be thankful to both Jenny and Peter for opening up their home to you by the end of your trip.

10/10 would absolutely recommend! Super cozy for a girl's weekend. The grounds are gorgeous, peaceful and private. We loved hanging down by the pond and walking through the woods. Inside is comfy and cozy. I had trouble opening the door when I first got there and Daniel was super responsive, calling within seconds to help me. Of course I was able to get it open right as he answered. The place is perfect and my 5 star review is accurate, we would absolutely stay again - but just a heads up the owners are offering a free return night in exchange for a 5 star review, which may bias some reviews.

Peaceful and relaxing stay. We had everything we needed upon arrival. The Grandkids were never bored between hiking to explore the river to running under the trees playing tag to roasting marshmallows in the firepit. We even had a movie night on the projection screen.

This house had all the “things” that you forgot and needed! Lots of special touches. We loved the swing in the living room right by the window! Very private and quiet but also very easy to find. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

A really lovely quiet peaceful spot, comes with friendly ducks and a great host. Ken went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home.

Cabin was great! Beautiful on the inside and located in a very peaceful quiet area. Barrel sauna and fireplace were very nice and enjoyable additions. Host was extremely responsive and helpful.
