Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sandvika

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

We had a very nice stay in Rødtangen. We stayed for four weeks in the beautiful little house with a large terrace and a beautiful view of the fjord. Mette and Mike are kind people. They are easy to communicate with. Everything is well arranged. We can recommend it. Regards, Peter and Mieke

Communication with the host is very smooth and quick. The scenery around the accommodation is nice, and the amenities are very well equipped. It's near the end of the bus line, so transportation is good and the mart is close, so I highly recommend it.

We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

Spacious and delicious "hotel room" in a quiet, charming neighborhood. Short distance to tram directly to Oslo city centre. Easy check-in, good description and good communication.

Extremely nice house near Oslo. Free parking is just outside and charging station is nearby. Rooms are clean and house feels warm in winter.

Henrik & Anders' accommodation is an absolute insider tip. Beautiful and quiet location in nature and inside just a dream. Henrik and Anders are also very great hosts, always helpful and attentive. We extended one night at short notice, which was no problem at all. We would have preferred to have stayed much longer. A very clear recommendation

What a great experience! This place was so unique, incredibly clean, comfortable, and had such a great view! Morten is an AMAZING host - the best we've ever had. He is very quick and helpful with all communication and very generous with his time to make sure you have an excellent stay. We had a sunny day during our visit, so we opened up the kitchen doors all the way. It was amazing to have fresh air all throughout. We just hung out there until the sun went down, it was so beautiful. One caution for anyone that has trouble with stairs - There is one flight of stairs from the garage to a landing (where the gym is located). Then a second flight of stairs to the main level (which has the front door, kitchen, living room, a full bathroom and the outdoor terrace area). Then a third flight of stairs to the bedroom level (which has two bedrooms and a full bathroom). Then a fourth flight of stairs that turns a bit (somewhat like a spiral staircase) to the loft. GREAT place/host!

Great, very clean and beautifully furnished accommodation. Public transportation is about 6 minutes' walking distance. We had a lovely few days in Oslo. I highly recommend this place.

We had an really great time at Randi's place. check-in and check-out was really easy, with clear instructions and photos showing the journey from the station to the apartment, which was only a short walk away. The apartment was beautiful and clean with all the necessary amenities, and the location felt pretty peaceful too. Randi was a fantastic host who responded to any questions we had and was flexible with the check in time too.

We spent one night at the place and are completely satisfied. The hosts responded super quickly and everything was clear and well prepared. A large kitchen, cozy bedroom and everything you need. From the terrace, you have a beautiful view. We are happy to recommend!

Very nice villa inside the room is cozy and has all the amenities you need!The homeowner even thoughtfully prepared items like candy, cotton swabs, hand cream, etc., the bedrooms were comfortable and clean, and always everything was perfect!!It is worth mentioning that the homeowner's garden has been meticulously taken care of with lots of nice flowers and fruit trees to add to our trip in Oslo👍

Maria's home was a highlight in our Oslo trip, I don't think we could have found a better place to enjoy and explore our time in the city. The home is spotless, quiet, very comfortable, stylish, and comes with a million dollar view of the city. We enjoyed the outdoor space and watching the sunsets and the view of the water. The hosts were incredibly responsive, warm, and welcoming- they provided such detailed information that we greatly appreciated. We hope to be lucky enough to return and stay again one day.

Our stay with Martin was pleasant. The bed might have been a little firmer, but that's also the only thing that wasn't optimal. :) We'd love to come back next time we're in Oslo.

Peter and Elizabeth are lovely people. They are both very friendly and helpful. They respond really quickly if you have a question. The apartment is close to two sets of shops, in easy walking distance to both. The 42 bus goes direct to the center of Oslo. There is also a train from Roa. Both are about 5 mins walk from apartment. It’s in a lovely and very quiet district. Had a very enjoyable stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at Russell's place. It is a clean apartment with all amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The apartment has a lovely patio that faces a forest where we found some nice hiking trails in "green space." We took about a 20 minute Uber ride from the train station (probably much cheaper than a taxi) and used Bus 46 for excursions into Oslo (about 30 minutes or so). We cooked several meals "at home," and Russel's kitchen is very well equipped to do so. All in all, if you are looking for a quiet space, that is affordable and clean, this is the place for you. Russel is also very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Thanks Russel!

Rebecca was very helpful, the apartment is very nice and perfect if you plan an event at the unity arena and also to visit the Oslo center which is 15min by bus, there are 2 stops very close to the apartment!

Such a great host and condo. The location couldn’t have been better! Everything we needed was within asking distance. Beautiful surroundings. Always responsive and helpful. On my next trip back, will definitely stay again.
