This peaceful and cozy house was built in 1791 and is located in beautiful nature with meadows, deciduous and coniferous forests, along with Lake Solgen. The house has a fireplace, tiled stoves and wood stove, is nicely and carefully renovated and has WiFi and TV. At the back, there is a lawn with its own garden furniture and grill. In the kitchen, there is a stove, oven, fridge, freezer, kettle and coffee maker. Good hiking and cycling as well as 600 meters to the lake where you can swim, fish or just sit and enjoy as well as cows and calves grazing around.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. You live on a farm with sheep in the pastures and the forest nearby. On the farm, there is a cat and in the beehive, bees. In the forest, there are trails and in late summer, there are a lot of mushrooms and even berries. The gravel road takes you further towards a small community, 3 km away, where there is a grocery store, a swimming lake and public transportation. By car, it takes 15-20 minutes to Vetlanda, Eksjö and Nässjö. If you drive for an hour, you will arrive at Astrid Lindgren's World.

The cottage is close to hiking trails and lakes and by car close to the unique wooden town of Eksjö, the elk park in Skullaryd and Skurugata. If you want to go on a day trip, it is an hour to Astrid Lindgren's World. All rooms in the cottage are newly renovated with care to preserve the feeling of this soldier's cottage from the 1700s. There are 4 beds and a sofa bed. Fishing opportunities are available as you have access to a boat about 1.5 km from the cottage.

The cottage is fully furnished with a living room with sofa and fireplace, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. There are two double beds, three single beds and a sofa bed. The cottage has a large garden with a barbecue area, as well as a sauna and an outdoor shower. The surroundings are perfect for cycling and walking. Welcome to Älmesås! You will stay in your own little house on our farm. Within ten swedish miles you will reach Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Kosta Boda, High Chaparall among other nice places. You will stay in a very calm and quiet environment. If you take a walk, perhaps you will meet our nice Highland Cattles. You also can spend some time together with our bunny , four cats and the goats Iris, Diesel and texas. Perhaps you can get eggs from the chickens. The rooster Charlie says "Good morning"!
