You will find the 2/3 acre property relaxing, enticing you to finish that creative project, or to rest soundly after a busy day. One of the best areas in town. Perfect place for quiet and nature, up against the Sandia Wilderness and in the mountains next to Albuquerque. Slightly cooler for the altitude, our place is a respite from the heat but only 10 to 30 minutes from everything in the city. Conveniently located near trails, the tram, and the balloon fiesta. We hosted a training and booked Leah’s place for our Guest Speakers. They absolutely loved the house and the creative and pleasant design! Leah is also very responsive and friendly. Super recommend this place.

The Placitas casita is a lovely place with wonderful hosts who are friendly, quick to respond and easy to work with. I immediately felt right at home in the casita, which is cozy and quiet with a creative interior design. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of cookware; the internet is fast; and it feels quite private. I enjoyed both sitting on the porch and relaxing on the backyard patio—all with beautiful views. The backyard grill is a nice bonus too. Just five minutes away you can find lots of trails for hiking, running and biking at the foot of the Sandia Mountains as well as a small commercial center with both a casual cafe and fine dining, a small grocery store and a new coffee shop. Not too much further away is Bernalillo (with a Sprouts); and Albuquerque is an easy 30 minute drive. So the casita’s location offers a nice mix of rural/nature with all your big city needs nearby. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to have the chance to do so again.

High Desert Oasis - King Bed

Pete and Veronica are wonderful people. They have really created a peaceful oasis and want to share the peaceful atmosphere with their guests. It is quiet and peaceful all day and night, no road noise no surrounding city noises just calm peacefulness. We got in late so we didn’t get to chat until the next day but both Pete and Veronica welcomed us with a good morning and invited us for homemade ice cream. Pete has been an avid Iris horticulturist and has so many beautiful Iris flowers throughout the property. We will definitely be back, thank you for such kindness and wonderful hospitality Pete and Veronica.

FABULOUS space! Clean, comfortable, and stylish, plus the home was conveniently located to many places we enjoy. I was concerned with other reviews complaining of noise because I am a light sleeper, but it wasn't bothersome at all. The host was responsive and we enjoyed our stay very much. We hope to come again in the future!
