My family of 5 had a great stay! Michelle has really gone over and above to make sure the house has everything to make you feel at home. She even decorated the house for my son's birthday because I mentioned that's why we were taking the trip. Such a thoughtful and sweet gesture! The lake and beach were so beautiful. Every night we had a perfect view of the orange moon! The water was very shallow during our stay which was ideal for us. The kids could go far out and still only be at hip level. Definitely suggest water shoes though! The kids have rated it as their top favorite vacation spot so far! We hope to go back in the future. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place Michelle! It truly was an amazing place to spend our last week of summer!

John is an incredible host - super responsive, amazing hospitality and so kind! He had great recommendations for places to eat in Port Austin and gave us directions to visit the lake. The cottage was a lovely stay and just what we wanted for memorial weekend - peace and quiet in a gorgeous location!

Mick was an accommodating and generous host. He was available to answer our questions. The home was beautiful, clean and uncluttered. The water was shallow as far as we could wade out. The kids enjoyed the lake with tubes. We enjoyed our family time together there!

Perfect for a getaway from social norms. Ideal for camping/outdoor enthusiasts. Kim was a wonderful host and took very good care of the property. As an East Tennessee boy, I felt right at home.

Had a great stay in Harbor Beach. The walk to the beach was perfect with 4 little kids. We walked to a bar in the evening for dinner and it had great food and friendly staff. We hung out at the fire pit every night and it was very peaceful.

This was a unique and affordable base camp for exploring Michigan's thumb coast. We had everything we needed and a great locatio to add to our adventure stories.

Our stay was very beautiful and relaxing. Everything was super clean and felt homey. Communication was great, and this was perfect for me and my partner. Right on the lake and absolutely stunning. Only thing I would note is that with warm weather and it being on the lake there are a lot of flying bugs (but that's to be expected). It is a bit pricey, but I would highly recommend this for your next stay up north!
