Cozy up with a book, have breakfast and dinner taking in the remarkable view of Venice bell towers and canals, on fantastic rooftop terrace of this beautiful and cozy apartment filled with furniture and ornaments from local artisans and Murano glass factories. Due to allergic problems of the host, it is not possible to stay with pets, sorry for that. Registration Number: M0270428520 The apartment is situated in Santa Croce district, only a few steps from the lively S.Giacomo da l'Orio Square which is renowned for being one of the most picturesque and popular areas of Venice where locals gather to socialise and gossip. The flat is on the third and last floor of a building located in Corte dei Mercanti, a small and cozy square situated about 10 minutes far from the Rialto Bridge and - going to the opposite direction - only 15 minutes far from Venice S.Lucia railway station. The apartment, recently restored, incorporates the concept of a typical Venetian house which reflects both in the furniture and in its architectural structure. While renovating, attention was paid to recreate and maintain the spirit and atmosphere of the Venetian merchants who livened up this area for decades. Furthermore, furnishings are a work of art as it comes from handy work of local artisans and Murano glass factories. The flat offers a 360° view as it boasts windows on each side and it develops on two levels: the main floor where the living/kitchen areas, the bathroom as well as the bedroom are situated, and the upper floor which hosts a relaxing area and a rooftop terrace. The entrance door gives access to the roomy and luminous living area is decorated with three-colour wallpaper and infused by natural light thanks to four windows. The space also includes a comfy sofa, a television and a tea table. Straight ahead, the wide and functional kitchen completes the area. It has classic style custom-made furniture which includes a slate top and details made of pewter. All appliances and a classy wooden table - which seats four - finish the furnishings. The bathroom with shower and a comfortable bedroom complete the main floor. Here, a double bed, a bridge wardrobe and a couple of reading lights furnish the space which is decorated with floral wallpaper and other decorative elements that recall the thousand-year old relationship existing between Venice and the Far East. The ceiling highlights once again the original structure of the building and a lovely skylight ideally extends the room towards the sky. A stairway made of Venetian grey granite leads to the upper floor where, nestled it the eaves of the roof, an air-conditioned reading area finds place. It represents the ideal place where to relax lay on the sofas. The loft also offers a terrace which overlooks the surrounding roofs and bell towers, among which the S.Maria dei Frari and S.Mark's ones. This sunny area is equipped with fine teak chairs and table for four to enjoy unique breakfasts, sunsets, sunrises or a romantic dining under the stars. The Santa Croce district is the heart of everyday Venice, is the Neighborhood, where Venetians live, far from noisy of touristic flow, but, in the meantime, really close to the main Venetian attractions. Santa Croce district offers a variety of bar, clubs, good restaurants and shops. M0270428520 It is possible to reach the flat by regular water bus getting off at "S.Stae" stop. Here ACTV line number 1 and airport shuttle Alilaguna Orange line stop. This is the closest water bus stop which is located 2 minutes far from the apartment (no bridges to cross). The railway station Venezia-Santa Lucia is easily reachable in only 15 minutes on foot, while Venice bus terminal and parking garages are only 20 minutes far. The apartment has a SUPER WIFI INTERNET CONNECTION 200 MEGA The apartment is decorated with many valuable antique and modern pieces. The owner is delighted to share them with you, but you are asked to respect and take care of them. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment, but it is allowed only on the terrace. our Airbnb in Venice was amazing. the apartment was clean, comfortable, and right on a canal which our kids loved! the apartment was centrally located making for short walks to many of Venice's wonderful sites. it is close to restaurants , a wonderful bakery, and a fabulous gelato place. Our host, Mirca, was amazing! she communicated daily to see if we had any needs, helped us find the best way to the airport in the early morning hours, and even booked our taxi for us. in a city where we knew no one, Mirca made us feel that we had a friend. I would recommend this property and her to anyone looking for a great place to stay while visiting Venice

Gianluca was a fantastic host! He reached out to us prior to coordinate meeting time and provided directions to the city. He met us at the water bus station before leading us to the unit since it can be tricky to find to on our own. Once we checked in, Gianluca provided a map and recommendations for places to visit and his favorite cafes nearby. The unit is centrally located in Venice and has many restaurants and stores within walking distance. The apartment was very spacious for my wife and I, with all amenities needed for our 3 day stay. Please note that it can be a bit noisy at night, but that didn’t bother us. Overall, we’ve had a great time staying at this unit, definitely recommend this listing for future stays! The place was stunning with all the latest appliances in the kitchen and a beautiful bathroom. They organized multiple transfers for us, and they were all incredibly smooth. There was always somebody waiting for us to take us to our destination. When my mom was injured, Dimitri personally helped us get to the airport and transported our luggage for us separately since it would have been too much for me to carry it all on public transport. Not only is the place beautiful, clean, unique, and in a great location, but the hosts are truly great humans and anyone staying with them is in good hands.

What a lovely stay in Venice! Very close to the Rialto Mercato stop. Super easy to hop on and off from there and get around the lagoon. Great restaurants and shops closeby - and the actual space is fantastic. We slept really well, very quiet place, and the shower is awesome!

A compact kitchenette is displayed, featuring modern white cabinetry and a microwave. Exposed wooden beams add character to the space. A small dining table is set nearby, accompanied by a neutral-colored basket. A decorative column enhances the ambiance, merging contemporary and traditional elements.

Great place for 3 people! So close to everything and just outside of the touristy areas which I loved. Very quiet corner with a canal view from the living room and kitchen. Loris is also a great host and provided a ton of information in advance and was extremely proactive. Very much enjoyed my stay!

Ca’ Zulian Palace - Grand Canal

We booked because another guest's review said "just go for it" and I would offer the same advice to others. We had a great time enjoying coffee & wine on the terrace while watching boat traffic on the Grand Canal. Although there are Vaporetto stops nearby, we walked almost everywhere we went and it was great to explore the neighborhood. For a quiet night in, stop by Fried Land (just around the corner) for excellent take-out pasta.
