House vacation rentals in San Marcos River

Gorgeous A-frame in the Wimberley wilderness. Remote enough to be private, but close enough to be near everything you’d want to access nearby. Jana and Andy were so lovely in their communication and responsiveness. The A-frame itself is beautiful, the deck is spacious, the cowboy pool adds a touch of fun, the kitchen is open and spacious, and the hosts provide an Instax camera complete with film as a unique way to “sign” their guest book. Overall amazing Airbnb experience. We’ll definitely stay with J&A in the future.

This was our second stay at the Ellison House. We gathered family and friends from across the country to celebrate our son’s first birthday, and the house could not have been more perfect. The hosts helped us plan the small event with easy to follow guidelines, and were always incredibly responsive and kind. The house itself is a unique treasure that is cozy, artistic, and modernly functional. We could not recommend it more and look forward to staying again next year.

Place was cozy, very nice view, and very clean. Overall plenty of parking, perfect spot in between San Antonio and Austin. Pool was perfect temperature and clean, hot tub as well. Will be coming back for sure.

We loved Bills home. The Unit was wonderful, clean, spacious, awesome decor, great lighting. The Pool and area was spa like, exactly what we wanted, but more. Bill was very friendly, very responsive. We had a great experience and will be back for sure. Thank you!

This was a wonderful house. Very clean and I love the coffee area! The swimming pool nice and warm. The whole house was a great place to hangout with our Airman. The beds were so nice and comfortable. I could have slept in each day but had a schedule to follow. Communication was outstanding. All questions were answered right away. I would love to stay there again if I ever have another trip to San Antonio.

This Airbnb was exactly as described. What made it stand out was all of the extra touches - the pool, the backyard was amazing and all of the games for our family. The home was very clean and well maintained. The owners were very responsive for any questions that we had. We tried several of their restaurant recommendations and they were all excellent. They provided lots of extras that were greatly appreciated. You could stay here and not have to go to the store to buy basics like coffee, garbage bags and toilet paper like most airbnbs that I’ve stayed in. The house is close to everything. You could be to most of the attractions within 15 minutes. The only downfall for me is that the beds were too firm for my liking. Don’t hesitate to book this place!

We enjoyed our stay, it’s a very nice, quiet area. We had such a relaxing weekend by the river. The hosts were always attentive, providing clear directions and checking in to see if we needed anything.

Words can not express how absolutely beautiful this property is. I didn’t want to leave , I’m actually already planning to book again. If that doesn’t say much , I don’t know what will. The pond was so cute , and has so much wildlife ! It was ridiculously peaceful. You can see So many stars at night. I will say it is in the middle of no where so pack accordingly. It’s like 20 mins drive to go to any major store.

We had a fantastic stay at Brooke’s place in Wimberley, TX! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and perfect for our family getaway. Brooke was a thoughtful and responsive host, making everything easy from check-in to check-out. The peaceful surroundings and charming touches made it feel like a true retreat. Highly Recommend!

I stayed here for a week while attending a professional training at Texas State, and had no issues. Terrell and her family are incredibly kind and welcoming. The area is quiet and peaceful. I would recommend this listing to anyone considering staying here!

My family enjoyed our stay at Robert's place during our daughter's graduation at Texas State. The house was big enough for us to host several friends and family. The beds were comfortable, big bathrooms, and the house was stocked with everything you need! The river in the backyard is so beautiful and we got to enjoy that as well. I would highly recommend.

Loved staying on property. VERY safe, had coded gate for property (safety & cattle). Beautiful & very clean casita!! Felt very much @ home. We sat on the porch most evenings enjoying the cattle grazing. So PEACEFUL!! Would HIGHLY recommend staying on this property. We plan to stay again when in Seguin

Matt’s place absolutely perfect for our girls trip. Loved the porch! Place was well stocked with towels and things. Lots of things were left by previous people that helped (they were not in the amenities listed) I loved the access to the river.

Loved this river house! It was easy to find, had the cutest character/design inside, great river access, just all around wonderful. And the tubing service they offered was the best! Will definitely come here again! Thanks for a great time.

Great place to stay! We visited for my mother-in-law's birthday weekend. It was three adults and a mid-size dog. We all had the best time. I had been looking for a pool and fenced yard. We got both! Although it wasn't a normal size pool which is shown in the pictures listed, we thoroughly enjoyed it! It fit all three of us comfortably so we could relax and chat while enjoying the scenery and the quiet space. The views and the area is just what was listed and expected. We all couldn't get over how peaceful and quiet it had been. Inside the home was absolutely comfortable and cozy. We gave my mother-in-law the larger room, but my husband and I still enjoyed the twin beds and personal bathroom. We are so thankful we were able to book as I've noticed this place is booked for quite some time this summer. Thank you Susan for being so accommodating with all of my questions and allowing us to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! Check-in was smooth, the space was clean and comfortable, and everything was exactly as expected. The host was super responsive and accommodating, which made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. Definitely a place we’d come back to and recommend to others looking for a relaxing stay.

We loved staying at camp Guadalupe for my sister’s bachelorette trip! It was exactly as described and we had the best time! We loved all of the included amenities that Paige had for guests to use like pickleball paddles and balls, tubes, kayaks, and so much more! Would definitely recommend to someone who was looking for a river trip but doesn’t want to stay right inside new braunfels!

Had a great stay here to float the river! My group and I had a wonderful time plenty of room for a group of 8. The host responded fast when we had questions during our stay. The back had a good photo opportunity, the drive way easily fits 5 cars. Overall it was a very nice stay and would stay again.

Levi's house was great! Very peaceful and quiet. The house was very clean. Everything was self explanatory so there was no need for any communication with Levi but I feel confident that if we needed anything he would be responsive. The pool was very refreshing and clean. The views were great. We saw a deer out back a couple of mornings. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. The house and gate are keyless which was nice for us, as we did not have to keep up with the keys. It was an easy drive to and from Wimberley, about 15 minutes. Hanging out at "The Let Go" was nice and relaxing. Don't miss the Wimberley Cafe.

This place is beautiful, the perfect place to come and relax with a small group. House ambiance makes you feel right at home. Kelly the host is very attentive, professional and at any time you need to reach out she is there to help out. Great experience, we enjoyed the place a lot.
