Apartment vacation rentals in San Juan del Sur

We had a very pleasant stay at Erwin’s place. The swimming pool is big and clean and we enjoyed it. Erwin was very helpful and proactively offered us a late check out. We will definitely return!

We had a great stay in Liliana's apartment. You truly can't beat the views. You can see the whole bay of SJDS and it is gorgeous! The apartment is well appointed, beds are comfortable and ACs blowing cold =). It was also a very close walk to town. You do have to be ok with climbing the hill but we welcomed the work out. The driveway is incredibly steep. We had a 4wd and were fine but I imagine it might be a little hard for smaller cars (although we did see smaller cars parked up top, so definitely doable). Highly recommend for a walkable location in San Juan Del Sur. Our favourite was the private balcony! Great place to have coffee with an expansive view of the surrounding local area. We felt totally safe as it's a little ways up from the main road, but still very accessible (as long as you can manage stairs). Ruddy and his family are wonderful, always willing to help since they live downstairs while still giving us privacy. Ruddy provided transportation to our next location at a great price. Communication was phenomenal via What's App with his brother, Marvin who provided awesome recommendations, and even went above and beyond to assist with a medical issue. Muchas gracias!!! Overall, the apartment suited our needs. We were able to cook breakfast and do our own laundry which was a bonus. Also enjoyed the smart tv with Netflix, AC, wifi, and storage space. Note that transportation is required to reach the surf breaks, but this is a great choice for visiting San Juan Del Sur :)

Cristina and Jorge were absolutely amazing hosts! Their communication was prompt, clear, and so kind, making the entire process seamless. The property itself was stunning—beautifully designed and newly built, offering all the comfort and charm we could hope for. Everything was spotless, and you could tell a lot of care went into every detail. Highly recommend staying here—you won’t be disappointed! I will definitely come back soon.

Claudia's La Talanguera apartment is perfect for short and long stays, specially for small groups. It has everything you need to make it your temporary home. Also, it's location is great. SJDS town and surrounding beaches are right there. She also is very friendly and responsive, and so are the people who work with her :)

Staying at Villa Fiorella with Armando and his lovely family was a great experience! The price is very affordable and priced very fairly for a brand new apartment with excellent amenities. Armando and his family was incredibly kind and welcoming. One day when we first arrived, Armando told us his goal and desire is to treat his guests like family. At first, I was skeptical, because I too own apartments and prefer a hands-off approach, but I was proven wrong. He absolutely treats his guests like family. Unfortunately, I experienced problems with a car rental agency in town, and after losing money Armando offered for my family to use his car, because he wanted to help us and felt bad for us. This was an incredible act of kindness. We were blown away by how sweet this gesture was. Our daughter also LOVED Armando's daughter, Fiorella. She was so sweet and played with our daughter. Armando's children are so sweet and welcoming! You are nestled in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with a view of the mountains and fields. We loved how quiet and peaceful this place was, and watching the sunsets. Armando was very quick to attend to our requests, such as fix a small tear in the window screen, assist with organizing housekeeping, servicing the A/C unit, improving wifi, and anything else we requested. The quality of the apartment is very high, with very nice finishes and materials! We truly felt treated like family. There is also a beautiful garden in the back and the neighbors are family, so we felt very safe at this place. This place is about a 5-10 minute drive from town. Taxis are very affordable and will pick you up from this place ($4.29 dollars to town, $1.5 if you catch a taxi from the main road), take you to beaches and wait for you there, and bring you back home ($30 dollars round trip to maderas or hermosa). (Call Lester +505 7787 2868) The internet was a bit slow, but Armando is working every day to improve it. I work in telecommunications, using wifi calling all day, but for anyone streaming or using wifi for casual purposes you won't have problems. Overall a super great experience! Thank you Armando for showing us so much love and care. We would come back any day to revisit.

Mar was a wonderful host, always responsive. The apartment was comfortable and its proximity to the beach made the vacation peaceful and serene. Will be coming back here when we return to San Juan.

Beautiful, clean, well-maintained condo. Easy access to town via the beach or via a short taxi ride. Fantastic views from the balcony. Woke up to howler monkeys and many different birds. We will definitely be back.

Overall I enjoyed the place. The hosts are incredibly kind. Communicate quickly. Just had issues with the power going out, but that’s the town in general. Also, there were worms in the bathroom when you take a shower. They’re not harmful, but it was something unexpected. 😅

Great spot right in front of Panga Drops surf break. Cesar was very helpful during our stay showing us around and giving us plenty of local recommendations. Would come back!

The house was nicer in person then in the pictures, which is saying a lot since I got it for that reason. Great stay, and very close to San Juan
