Phillips place was perfect for a couple. The bed was super cozy, the furniture was very nice, I absolutely loved the ceiling fan, which looks like an old wooden propeller. The outside space is a real treat. Phillip left coffee, welcome beers and waters, which was very nice. fantastic location with lots of great restaurants.

Staying with Rosa felt like visiting family—warm, welcoming, and effortless. From the moment I arrived, she provided a thoughtful introduction to the cottage, along with fantastic recommendations for local spots. The cottage itself is private, secure, and beautifully maintained. The bed is incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights, and the bathroom is modern and spotless. The location is unbeatable—just minutes from some of San Francisco’s best restaurants, coffee shops, cafes, and bars, making it easy to explore. But beyond the convenience, what made this stay truly special was Rosa and Syd’s hospitality. Their kindness and warmth made my experience unforgettable, and their incredibly friendly dogs added an extra layer of joy to my visit. I can't wait to plan another trip to San Francisco, and I know exactly where I'll be staying—back with Rosa, Syd, and their wonderful pups.

Perfect location! I was in town running a training, and this place was the ideal private space to recharge. Quiet, comfortable, and well-situated. Maria was thoughtful, responsive, and easy to communicate with—everything I needed for a smooth stay.

Victoria’s little cottage was a comfortable and cozy hidden gem! In a great location with some incredibly cute and friendly dogs. We were in town looking for housing as it was a peaceful place to unwind after long days of house hunting! Thank you Victoria for your friendliness and hospitality. Our stay at the Quail House was everything we wanted and so much more. A truly magical place. Judith was also an incredible host and a pleasure to get to know.

Charming, Well Appointed, Cottage Behind the main house, past a pathway strewn with various projects-in-the-works, as well as lush greens, is a delightful hideaway. Inside, a fully equipped kitchen, and dining area, which opens on to a living area with a large TV, and a DVD player with a very nice collection of films. The separate room had a very comfortable bed, excellent lighting, a bureau and closet, and a bathroom with a pleasant shower, and very nice towels. Liberal use of skylights brightens the cottage (but if you want less light the skylights are easily covered, controlled by a convenient wall switch.) The quality of products (kitchen and bathroom) is first rate. Although small, everything just works. There’s not a lot of extra room for anything. One needs some creativity to find space for luggage, or to find desk space for a computer. Totally worth it though. We’ll come again.

The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway. It’s tucked in a quiet neighborhood with stunning views, yet still super convenient—just minutes from hiking at Mt. Tam and a short drive to the beach or the city. Elisabeth was a wonderful host—friendly, very responsive, and thoughtful. She had the kitchen stocked with plenty of food essentials, which was such a nice touch. The local grocery store was close by too, making everything easy. This was the ideal spot for our R\&R girls trip, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

David‘s place was lovely. We really loved the backyard as it was very tranquil and very beautifully landscaped. If it hadn’t been such a windy week, we would have spent lots of time out there. The inside of that place was lovely and comfortable. David was a very nice host and very helpful as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Lucy's cottage was wonderfully positive!   Despite being out of town during our stay, Lucy was quick to answer questions.. The cottage is tiny but expertly organized, with an extremely well-appointed bathroom. There is plenty of natural light and fresh air available. There was construction happening nearby but at night the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The location is superb, within a couple of walkable blocks down to the Mill Valley Market and The Depot, to which we returned not only for meals (the Avocado Toast is amazing!) but also for the unique community feel The Depot plaza offers.  From there it's just a few blocks up to the entrancing Old Mill Park and the stunning Mill Valley Library. The beautifully forested 1.2 mile walk up to Cascade Falls was well worth the exertion on a hot afternoon. This trip was our first "escape" from responsibilities since 2020 and the entire experience was refreshing and healing.

Ellie and Cyrus were wonderful hosts. They were always very responsive and willing to help, including changing the lock battery when it was low for our peace of mind! They were also able to accommodate our request to stay an extra night which was much appreciated. Great little spot for a couple and a toddler. Nearby lots of trails, charming downtown Mill Valley and bustling Sausalito. Also very easy to get to SF. I would highly recommend this stay, but bring lots of warm clothes because there is only one “heater” that does not reach the entire place, particularly the bed!

I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 night stay at Pat and Stefan’s bungalow. It was appointed with everything I needed - comfy bed, quiet neighborhood, well-stocked kitchen, easy entry at night, and great communication from Pat. I, especially, liked his recommendation of an excellent Thai restaurant within walking distance and a hand-held shower head! I will see them again when my next granddaughter graduates from Berkeley HS🤗

Definitely a great value - lovely spot in the Berkeley Hills. A couple of staircases to get down to the place, but really secluded and private and quiet. Would def book again!

The guesthouse was wonderful! We extended our stay twice. While our party of 3 was in the city for business. I see the house being as suitable and comfortable for friends or families. It is as good or better as it looks on the pictures: the view, the living room, the work-stations. Parking and AC. What you don't see from the pictures: *The beds and linens are comfortable. *The neighborhood is safe and nice * Filtered cold water was waiting in the fridge * Proactive help and communication from the hosts. * Considerate ear-plugs that I forgot at home etc etc. ...."it just works" My next booking to SF will definitely start by checking this locations availability.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect—private and quiet, yet close to all major transit lines. It made it super convenient to drive in, park, and head downtown without hassle. The space is tucked behind the main house with its own entrance, which gave us the privacy we were looking for after busy days in the city. Everything was clean and well-kept. We didn’t use the kitchen, so can’t speak to that, but everything else was great. Keith was a fantastic host—very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome spot for a quick trip! It's like, half an hour from the city. The place was super clean and spacious. Every room had its own bathroom, and the kitchen had everything you'd need. Seriously a great place.

The building is a Victorian structure, and the Airbnb is very comfortable and somewhat romantic. The bed is very comfy! The location is great, very close to public transportation. Cesar helped me with my bags checking in and out. I would definitely stay there again. One tip: There is a convenient bus stop a half block from the building that to go up and down the hill. You can get on and off at 15th and Castro, and 17th and Castro.

Lovely cottage apartment. Great location, with easy parking, walk to shops and restaurants, and close by car or bus to UC Berkeley. Very clean and nicely appointed. Main bed was very comfortable. Sofa bed usable in a pinch for kids. We look forward to our next stay with Jeremy & Miranda!
