Smoking friendly vacation rentals in San Fernando Valley

I really enjoyed my stay, almost felt like my actual home. Monet was an awesome host! she was very communicative and responded to all of my questions quickly. the place overall was nice, clean & cozy. think my only complaint was that she said smoking was allowed on the balcony, even had an astray out there for convenience however, there was a neighbor above who does not like smoke and yells to stop smoking. So just be prepared to deal with that or do the long walk outside each time you want a cigarette. other than that, awesome spot, convenient location, great experience would book again!

If you’re visiting the LA area this is the perfect location. Everything is 10-20 minutes within distance. Santa Monica was 35 minutes! My stay was great. It was very clean and I loved the decor. They are also 420 friendly. The only downfall in my opinion is the bed. It was not comfortable for me at all. We had issues with the key fob for the parking gate to open/close but the host responded quickly and brought another and made it right. The area is clean and peaceful. I recommend this stay! You’ll enjoy 😊

I had a wonderful stay at this private suite! The space was clean, quiet, and exactly as described. It’s in a great location — just a short walk to plenty of restaurants and stores. Being so close to everything made the trip super convenient and relaxing. 20 mins from Long Beach and Redondo beach. Perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy the coast and good food. The host is very responsive, helpful and friendly. Highly recommend! Thank you Sherman!

The place was great! Despite the protests downtown, the location was great! We were out of the way from most of the crowds and traffic that came with the protest and were still within walking distance to some great places! (Crypto, Peacock Theatre, Grand Central Market, etc.). Dan was very responsive and even helped with a great 420 suggestion! Like the listing states, you must be ok with what comes with being downtown to really enjoy the beauty of it all. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mila’s place. She was very responsive and always replied quickly. The apartment looks exactly like the pictures and has a very cozy backyard. We were staying with our dog and really appreciated how convenient it was to let both our daughter and the dog play safely in the backyard. There’s a train that occasionally passes behind the yard, but during our 3-day stay, I didn’t hear it at all — only saw it once. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

Located about 10 minutes from the beach by walking. We appreciated the parking permit to park in the streets, which could be challenging in many areas in California. Area was quiet and safe during our short stay.

Eric was a great host and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We were on a graduation trip with a family of 15. The home was beautiful , just as the pictures showed. Everyone felt right at home and comfortable. Great response time to messages and he came fast when we needed him. The location was great. There’s a book at the house with great recommendations on food and things to do. 30 minutes to Universal Studios and Six Flags depends on traffic. There’s a Target right up the street which was great to pick up a few things. I would recommend checking the cabinets before going grocery shopping, the kitchen had a few cooking essentials, that you may not need to buy, which came in handy. All around great trip, I would definitely stay there again when traveling. Highly recommended.

Incredible location right in the middle of everything you need but extremely tranquil setting. What sets this airbnb apart from many others is the extremely kind and accommodating hosts who were readily available when we had questions or any concerns. Highly recommend with no reservations.

Location can’t be beat if you want a nice base for exploring all the shops and restaurants in Silver Lake. Tucked back in a quiet neighborhood but just 10-15 minutes (walking) away from all the cute stuff. Apartment was adorable and very small. Ideal for 1 person, but got a little tricky to navigate where to put luggage etc for 2 people. I think the space above this one is also an Airbnb, and there was a good amount of walking around upstairs, but nothing major. That said I’d stay here again!

The house was beautiful and clean. The beds were way too hard for us. The house is on a main street and right next to the freeway, I could hear a lot of the road traffic in the living room. Other than that we didn't have any problems. The host accommodated to letting us check in early.

A most charming cottage. Immaculately clean, extremely comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen. The surroundings feel like a meditation center. Very lush and peaceful. Our dogs enjoyed running in the large backyard. John communicated frequently and promptly. Overall, we, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cozy house.

It is a great place to stay, especially considering getting a private space for your group, the safe parking spot for your car etc. The place is very similar to described in the listing and was very clean, with all the basic amenities needed for one's stay. One thing to keep in mind, it is towards the east side of LA and if you are planning to visit LA as a tourist, then all the tourist spots is a bit of drive from here. But overall, great experience.

I really enjoyed my stay. I felt very safe. It was quiet. The bed is very comfortable. This place was perfect in location for me because my son lives less than 10 minutes away. In the book they provided, was pretty much everything there is to do in the area and then some. I was centrally located to everything. I would stay here again. The MOST important thing to me was feeling safe...in the home and in the area.

What a charming home! This home is located near many shops and restaurants, some even walkable. Spacious kitchen, good sized bedrooms and so many bathrooms! The outdoor space is amazing too! There is a dedicated outdoor kitchen, with a grill and pizza oven, best of all PLENTY of outdoor seating. My entire party enjoyed the stay at this property! Melissa was AMAZING to communicate with and responded so quickly to all my questions! This experience was an A+ all the way!!!

Although I didn’t get to meet Marie, she was still a great host! Her place was very clean, and just as pictured. I was able to keep in contact with her very easily! Highly recommend

Great location - we wanted to stay near our son. Walked every morning to get great cup of coffee. Super workout facility. Covered parking spot ✅ also was able to get some laundry done in the middle of our long trip. Would stay again!

Kelly's home is perfect for us and our dog. So grateful for this. Space is the basics - beds, tvs, linens, and homes two adults comfortably as well as room on the couch and small children bunk beds; Cupboards are full, laundry room ready for use, bathroom small but clean and well supplied with toiletries; towels in abundance. Just outstanding. And Kelly was always prompt in her responses to us and so generous with her supplies in bathroom area and kitchen as well as with technology. We have stayed several times and will definitely visit again as family members live in Santa Monica area. Grateful, appreciative and thanks to Kelly

Can’t beat the price for what you get!!! Host was extremely accommodating allowing for an earlier check in time, extra towels, and being open to more guests. Clear instructions were given the day before our check in and everything was easy to find and to check in. Super fast response times and always super friendly!! Condo was exactly as pictured! The pull out couch wasn’t available but the air mattress was very comfortable!! Clean sheets and bathrooms! Kitchen was very nice as well!! The rooftop patio was amazing with a great view of the city line and the hollywood sign. The location was near lots of attractions (10-20min drive) such as the hollywood hike entrance, griffith park/observatory, Universal Studios, and the hollywood walk of fame. The drive to Santa Monica pier was ~45-55min with traffic. Small downfall is the door does not have a deadbolt lock - it only has the code lock to lock the door, but I would 100% come back and stay here again because it still felt very safe!! :)

The place was nice, we just had a hard a really bad time finding a parking spot, the next day we decided it was nos worth moving the car all day
