House vacation rentals in San Diego Bay

I am a San Diego local, but my family was coming to town and we needed more space. I picked this place because I knew my sister and brother-in-law would love being able to walk to all the restaurants and brewery nearby and my 6 year old nephew would get a lot of use out of the pool. The place exceeded my expectations, it was perfect for everyone. We spent a lot of time in the backyard swimming or playing board games, and my Mom got a lot of use out of the hot tub. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was comfortable and clean. The only downside is my family might visit too often now!

We had a fantastic week in La Jolla! John’s place was charming, spotless, and perfect for our family. The home was well-stocked with thoughtful amenities—including beach gear—and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location is unbeatable: a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood within a few minutes walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shops, and more. John was a friendly and responsive host who made everything easy from start to finish. Honestly could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, convenient stay in La Jolla. We’d love to come back!

Stay at Katri’s was great. Had delicious cookies waiting for us when we checked in, which was a breeze. House was spacious and entire lot was very big. Pool was great and even after we had told them that no heated pool would be necessary, Mother Nature had a different idea and gave us some more than unexpected chilly weather, so they had no problem throwing the heater on for us. Freeway in the background was hardly a noise problem for us personally. Just far enough that it didn’t affect us, and was nice to see what our morning commute was going to be like. Brought two dogs with the group that absolutely loved everything (after one of them finally got over his fear of the staircase). All in all a great stay in a great neighborhood. Cant comment more how quickly they responded to us in the days leading up to the trip, and while we were there. Great hosts!

Quiet location, exactly as pictured and described. Parking could be a challenge if you have a large vehicle but being able to park in the garage made it easier. Great communication!

We loved our stay at Mari Katherine’s Airbnb for a girl’s weekend in SD! It is a beautiful home that was spacious and thoughtfully designed and decorated to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The home feels private, but was in a fantastic location in North Park that was easily walkable to coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Mari Katherine sent clear instructions leading up to our stay, so the logistics of check in were clear and easy! When some logistical challenges came up during our stay, Mari Katherine was very responsive (even late in the evening) and offered solutions - we would be thrilled to visit again!

Nice place to stay in the San Diego area. Conveniently located within reasonable driving distance to popular attractions and nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The backyard and pool are beautiful. The pool was by far the highlight of our stay. Miguel is an exceptional host: responsive, accommodating, and a pleasure to communicate with.

Exactly as the other reviewers have described, it is just a beautiful oasis in a perfect quiet neighborhood. Don’t wait, book now!

This beautiful guest home in historic Marston Hills is perfect for a San Diego getaway! It was pristine, well-maintained, and so comfortable. We were able to walk to Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo, as well as nearby restaurants and grocery stores. The pool was also a lovely amenity, and the surrounding canyon was a gorgeous backdrop. Jing is an amazing host. She truly goes the extra mile to take care of her guests. The home is stocked with amenities - kitchenware for cooking, toiletries and extra towels, even pool or beach supplies! We loved our stay in Jing’s guest home, and are so grateful for the hospitality. An amazing location and our incredible host made our stay so memorable and enjoyable. Thank you, Jing, for your hospitality. We hope to stay here again, soon!

Amir's place was exactly as listed! Communication was excellent leading up to check in and we had no questions about anything as a result. Parking was easy. Check-in, check out were easy. The location is great as the area is within walking distance to Balboa Park, and nearby University St. has anything you could need as far as food and drink. The place itself was great - huge fridge/freezer, and plenty of cookware/plates/utensils. We basically parked when we got there and walked everywhere. Great neighborhood. We would stay here again for sure.

This a great home base for an outstanding stay in North Park. We loved the small backyard for our dog! The house was cozy and extremely comfortable. We slept so well all three nights of our vacation The location is amazing. It’s a short walk to dozens of restaurants and bars/breweries. Highly recommend this place!!!!!

What a precious house and so well done! The decor is lovely, the bed in the primary bedroom was super comfortable, as were the sheets. We spent some time on the back patio area and it was very relaxing! Expect some noise from the airplanes but I actually loved it! Intazza coffee is just a quick walk and they have great drink options as well as food! Would definitely stay at this house again! Loved it!

Phil and Lucy's place was perfect for our family of four! It was squeaky clean, and had all the amenities. They were the most responsive hosts we have ever encountered. We would definitely stay here again!

Home away from Home! This is exactly how I would describe our stay. Comfy, cozy, beautifully decorated and centrally located making it easy to enjoy all the area has to offer. Having a washer and dryer available is always a big plus when traveling, as well as a bright beautiful kitchen fully stocked to provide any "staying in" cooking easy to accomplish. I highly recommend booking your next stay at this amazing location, I know we will!!

Daniel's San Diego home was an absolute dream come true for our family of six! It far surpassed all our expectations and stands out as our best Airbnb experience to date. The amenities were simply amazing – the game room, movie theater, pool, and spa provided endless fun and relaxation for everyone. Daniel was also incredibly responsive whenever we had questions. We genuinely hope to stay here again on our next visit to San Diego!

This was the perfect place for 2 people on a girls trip. So much space, the bathroom had double sinks and big mirror for getting ready, the patio was perfect for coffee in the morning and wine at night. It was located near everything and easy for an Uber to find us and there was always a spot out front to park. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others!

We really enjoyed our stay! The casita was clean, nicely decorated, and had a great yard for our dog. The home was close to beaches, restaurants, and everything we wanted to do. We appreciated the driveway parking and the fact that Alex was easy to communicate with and allowed us to check in early. The airplane noise is noticeable so I’d recommend headphones/ear plugs to get to sleep. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We stayed here for one night and really enjoyed it. The place was super clean and had plenty of games to keep us entertained. It was also really peaceful at night, which made for a relaxing stay. Definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a quiet, fun place to stay in San Diego!

This has got to be one of my favorite Airbnb stays of all time! You can tell the hosts really put the time and effort into making this such a beautiful and thoughtful stay! My family and I loved staying here and honestly wished we were staying for longer! The beds were comfy, the bathroom beautifully curated, and the kitchen was an absolute stand out. This is the place you hope for when you book an Airbnb! Mitchel & Desi were always responsive and had wonderful recommendations! My favorite part was all the beautiful ceramics made by Desi throughout the house. We will definitely be booking again when we are back in San Diego!

Shannon and Brent are unbelievable hosts. Let me tell you how amazing they are. We booked with them last minute for Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately one of the bikes got stolen right before our stay. They offered to bring them over at 9:00PM because they wanted us to be able to enjoy them the next day. They're just genuinely nice people. They also don't ask for much in return aside from respecting their space. The house is beautiful. It is close to the airport. It was cool sitting outside watching the planes land. Pretty quiet with the windows closed though. Location was great. Close to bars and restaurants but far enough for it to be quiet. 10/10 would stay again and recommend. Thank you so much Brent and Shannon!

Gorgeous Airbnb on an almost private beach. Location is great for those who know the area. Only one bedroom and patio space is shared with other unit. But the view and serene environment made up for it :)

Michael's place was great for us, a couple exploring SD all day. The place has everything you would need to make your stay easy. Check-in was easy, the street is quiet, full of houses and then a block or two you get to the avenue with plenty of restaurants and cafés. The bus stop is also close to the house. Just be mindful that as soon as you open the door you'll face a staircase. The front yard is beautiful and the entrance is next to a big flower bush that smells heavenly. Michael was very attentive and answer our questions quickly. Definitely worth staying here

My stay there was great! The house was very clean and easy to travel and get around!
