Vacation rentals with a hot tub in San Carlos

I really enjoyed my stay here when visiting La Fortuna! The house was spacious, clean, had all the amenities you need, and was in a good spot of La Fortuna with beautiful surroundings. My family and I really liked it. Randall & Juliana were also both very responsive to help if I had any questions. I highly recommend this house for your stay and would not hesitate to stay again in the future if I ever visit La Fortuna again!

Very nice house. Clean and family friendly. Kitchen is nice. There are a lot of bugs in the rain forest so keep the windows closed! Coming from Florida USA so bugs are normal, but if you are not use to the tropics then bring bug spray for mosquitos. If you are from CR, like my partner, then you already know to keep doors and windows shut especially at night. AC was nice to have after a long day of being outside. Very close to hot springs. The markets and restaurants are great. Overall this place is really nice for a chill small group of people. This stay made our small family reunion feel comfortable and complete. It was 6 and 1/2 of us (1 baby) but this place is actually bigger than we thought. Very spacious and more than enough bed space. House keeping rules are simple. AC off when you leave the house to save for the environment! I hope who ever reads this has a great time like we did! Thank you John and Tati for your great hospitality.

We absolutely fell in LOVE with the charming town of Monteverde and Jarvey and Flors place was the perfect location to rest our tired bodies!!!!! We loved the adventurous road leading to the house and the quiet peace and tranquility that awaited us! We arrived to find a basket of goodies including fresh pineapple and banana, chips, cold water, fresh local bread, cheese, and jam, and champagne! Jarvey was so kind and responsive and checked in on us personally a couple of times! We exchanged a lovely hug upon departure and I'll be forever grateful for their kindness and hospitality! The house itself is immaculate and cozy and the hot tub and patio couldn't be any more peaceful and beautiful! The views were amazing and the birds and flowers and bumblebees were the perfect addition to the serenity. The wifi may be a bit spotty, but we actually enjoyed that part! We cozied up in fluffy blankets on the couch and totally enjoyed our stay! Thanks again Jarvey and Flor!!!!!

Beautiful place in a very convenient location in La Fortuna. Clean, safe, and well-equipped. We had enough resources to cook dinner and Jacuzzi was super relaxing, perfect when rain forced us to cancel plans. If we come back, we’d stay again, no doubt!

Jose, his family and friends were more than welcoming to us from the moment we came to the Airbnb! Quick responses and always there to lend us a hand or guide us to anything we may need! Amazing food at a local restaurant, horseback riding on his land with lots of things to see and learn about! His pool at the Airbnb was absolutely amazing! We loved getting to meet his family members and socializing with them! I would highly recommend this Airbnb to everyone in near the La Fortuna area!!! Ps wait until you see his 2nd one they are building right now!! Thank you soo very much! We loved everyone moment at your home!

Daniel and his team were exceptional. They let us drop our bags off before check-in so we could explore town, offered helpful tour services, and even a complimentary cleaning (which we didn’t use, but appreciated!). The house is in a great location—10–15 min walk to downtown La Fortuna, close to a grocery store, and tucked on a quieter street with a nice local vibe. One note for light sleepers: the house is just past a curve where motorcyclists like to rev their engines, often late into the night. I don’t usually consider myself a light sleeper, but I did struggle. The hosts thoughtfully provide a white noise machine, which helps, but just something to be aware of. Overall, for everything within the host’s control, this stay was fantastic and easily 5 stars!

Fabian was really fast at responding, and would check up on us if we needed anything. Super helpful and was willing to help with everything. Everything is like in the pictures but even better

Just WOW! What a great place and a great location. We enjoyed a 5 day stay at Danny's place. We had one issue that was not the fault of anyone and Danny helped us fixed it within minutes. I would definitely stay here again.

Genaro is a great host. Friendly, helpful and communicates well. All the information needed to have a seem-less experience was provided to us prior to arriving, which gave us a piece of mind. The room is very spacious and beautiful; the pictures do not do it justice. The area is walkable with great places to eat. The area is also quiet and serene which made enjoying the outdoor space relaxing including the volcano view from the rooftop terrace. Breathtaking! There is some construction in the area that can be heard during the day but it didn’t bother us much as we spent that time doing excursions. Would definitely recommend anyway and plan on returning!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The customer service was exceptional—our host was friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome from the start. The private villa was stunning: spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotless. It felt like our own peaceful oasis, with an incredible backyard area with a private pool and jacuzzi as well as a private area to park within it own sliding gate. The location was unbeatable—just minutes from downtown, with endless things to do nearby. We enjoyed exploring local restaurants, shops, and attractions, all within easy reach. Despite being so close to the action, the villa offered quiet, comfort, and privacy at the end of each day. It was the perfect balance of convenience and serenity. This stay exceeded our expectations. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, high-quality experience. Great nature spot with view

Wow, where do we even begin! We were absolutely blown away by how responsive and attentive Daniel and his team were. They truly went above and beyond to make our first visit to Costa Rica an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their recommendations were spot on—from activities to dining, everything exceeded our expectations. Their home was beautiful and in a perfect location, which made it easy to explore and relax at the same time. We also really appreciated the wide range of services they offered, which made everything run so smoothly and stress-free. A special shoutout to our tour guide, Adrian, who was incredible knowledgeable and made the entire experience both enjoyable and memorable. Adrian struck the perfect balance—friendly and personable, yet always professional. We couldn't have asked for a better guide! We can’t thank Daniel and his team enough. Highly recommended! Pura vida!

Nice and clean, loved the pool and proximity to town. Hosts were responsive and even replaced a coffee maker that we were unable to pour without spilling - lol, could have been user error. So, to answer the questions that we had before staying there: 1. There are three cows next door and they come to visit, but there is no overwhelming manure smell or issue with flies that we observed. 2. There is now a building DIRECTLY next door, but to be honest, I was glad it was there. The landscaping is nicely done, filling in, and the building is painted nicely and offers the privacy I was hoping for. 3. The common area isn't real big, and you can make it comfortable with the provided fans. The home is beautiful, we enjoyed ourselves here, and would stay here again

Amazing place in a great location, a short drive to La Fortuna and many more awesome places. The host is responsive and easy to comunicate with. If you enjoy nature this will be a right fit for you. We saw a sloth in our backyard!!!! Also, it easily accomodated our party of 9 adults! Can’t wait to be back.

Our stay was amazing, we would definitely book again! It was a long walk to town but transportation was there within a couple of minutes each time and only took about 4 minutes to get to downtown La Fortuna!

We got up close and personal with the sloths that have claimed your oasis(two fell out of a tree right in front of us! The cold pool was a refreshing welcome from the heat.

The place is beautiful and the view spectacular, everything is clean. Same as photos. As a recommendation, bring a large car.

Ok, the place and the host are perfect. The problem is that it says San Ramón and maybe it happens to you, as it did to me, we imagined it as being near San Ramón downtown, but no! Literally, it is Peñas Blancas, it is about 20 or 25 minutes from Fortuna, so if you think of something closer, it is complicated because it takes more than 3 hours from San José. So, just so you know, but it's totally worth it! The cabin, the river, everything is great, really

Hands down the best place to stay in La Fortuna. David was very responsive and got me checked in right when I arrived. The cabin is GORGEOUS. It feels like it’s in the middle of the rain forest. The inside of the cabin was the cleanest Airbnb I may have ever stayed at. Truly spotless and didn’t have bugs which I have found to be impossible in Costa Rica. The bed was so comfortable and the view from the kitchen made me so happy in the morning. It even has a little patio area underneath the cabin. Wish I could have stayed longer!! I’d recommend staying here over staying at a fancy hotel. You feel immersed in Costa Rican nature while still feeling very comfortable. Honestly this place felt like a nice hotel but way better. It’s worth it.

Chris’ Airbnb is one of the most beautiful and serene places I have ever stayed. The view is absolutely as stunning as it looks in photos. Chris and his team were amazing in helping us to book our adventures and tours in Monteverde, and were also great at providing recommendations. I’d recommend anyone stay here if you’re in Monteverde. Beautiful cabin in an incredible mountain town.

This place is awesome. Secluded yet right by everything. The tree frogs come out at night and sing you to sleep and the tropical birds awake you in the morning. There is a bit of a construction site near by, so a bit of noise if you like to sleep in, but nothing too major. You can walk anywhere in town that is necessary, but we had a car and found parking easy and convenient. Host was responsive the whole time and extremely helpful. The hot tub made this place feel truly amazing. 10/10 recommend

Stunning place where your only regret is that you didn’t book it for longer! Fernando was incredibly responsive with questions and requests and met us at the top of the road to greet us and show us in. The hot tub was a real treat after a 7 hour hike and we even had 2 frog visitors while we soaked our muscles - just be sure to ask Fernando to turn on the tub about 45 minutes before you arrive home so the water is comfortably toasty. Highly recommend ordering the breakfast, with coffee, local tropical fruit juice, and the fruit bowl. It’s delivered to your door with a smile at the time of your choosing and you can enjoy it on the porch while sighting many birds and butterflies. The metal roof was lovely during the rain and quick 10 minute drive into town was perfect for a coffee run, souvenir shopping, and nice dinner. I can’t recommend this place enough! You will be satisfied from check-in to check-out.

It's a beautiful and private place with lots of things to do, and it's great for romantic couples. t's the most complete Airbnb I've ever been to, in terms of electronics, activities, and amenities.
