Thank you so much Andy and Graciela for such a wonderful stay. You are both gracious, friendly and made us feel like family. Your property is a little hidden paradise. We got up close and personal with the sloths that have claimed your oasis(two fell out of a tree right in front of us! The cold pool was a refreshing welcome from the heat.

We had such a wonderful stay at Meylin and Bernard’s cabin! From the moment we arrived, Meylin was incredibly friendly and responsive. When our car unexpectedly needed a jump, Bernard was at our door within minutes, happy to help — we were so grateful for their kindness and hospitality. The property itself is unbelievable. The cabin is perfectly situated with the raw jungle behind you and a charming farm filled with all kinds of animals in front. If you love nature and animals, this place is a dream. During our stay, we saw so many sloths (including one right outside the bedroom window!) that we felt no need to join any of the sloth tours in town — the wildlife literally came to us! Overall, this was the perfect romantic escape and an ideal base for exploring La Fortuna’s breathtaking sights and hot springs. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and peaceful experience surrounded by nature.

El lugar es hermoso y la vista espectacular, todo limpio. Igual a las fotos. Como recomendación llevar un carro grande.

Ok el lugar y el anfitrión son perfectos el problema es que dice San Ramón y tal vez les pase como a mí nos lo imaginamos como cerca de san Ramón centro pero no! Literalmente es peñas blancas está como a 20 o 25 min de la fortuna entonces si piensan en algo como más cerca es complicado porque se dura más de 3 horas desde San José. Entonces para que lo tomen en cuenta pero vale totalmente la pena! La cabaña el río, todo genial la verdad

Stunning place where your only regret is that you didn’t book it for longer! Fernando was incredibly responsive with questions and requests and met us at the top of the road to greet us and show us in. The hot tub was a real treat after a 7 hour hike and we even had 2 frog visitors while we soaked our muscles - just be sure to ask Fernando to turn on the tub about 45 minutes before you arrive home so the water is comfortably toasty. Highly recommend ordering the breakfast, with coffee, local tropical fruit juice, and the fruit bowl. It’s delivered to your door with a smile at the time of your choosing and you can enjoy it on the porch while sighting many birds and butterflies. The metal roof was lovely during the rain and quick 10 minute drive into town was perfect for a coffee run, souvenir shopping, and nice dinner. I can’t recommend this place enough! You will be satisfied from check-in to check-out.

The accommodations were top-notch, with a cozy and comfortable space that exceeded our expectations. But what truly set this Airbnb apart was the breathtaking nature surroundings. Waking up to the serene sounds of the wildlife and taking in the stunning views of the lush forests and peaceful waterfalls from our private patio was truly a treat for the soul. We felt like we were in our own little paradise, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Jeremy's excellent communication and genuine care for his guests made our stay even more memorable. His insider tips on the best hiking trails and local dining spots enhanced our experience.

My boyfriend and I were stationed in la fortuna for a couple of days and decided on this lovely bungalow. It exceeded our expectations. We were greeted with a beautiful heart shaped towel, along with a complimentary bottle of wine from the host. On top of all of this, Christopher was a joy and always very responsive. We loved the view and the jacuzzi was a nice touch. We walked on the trails around the bungalow and we were also a short 10 minute drive from the town. Overall, amazing experience- I would recommend for a romantic getaway.

🌿🛁🌧️✨ Staying at this eco bungalow in Agua Azul was pure magic. Tucked away in the lush jungle, the experience felt like living in a nature documentary—but with the comforts of a cozy, thoughtfully designed cabin. The view from the bungalow is something I’ll never forget—layers of dense, green rainforest as far as the eye can see, with mist curling through the trees at dawn. It was peaceful, private, and alive with the sounds of birds and distant howler monkeys. The photo I took doesn’t even do it justice. The outdoor hot tub was the cherry on top. Soaking in warm water surrounded by the jungle after a long day of exploring was absolutely surreal. We even got to watch the rain roll in from the tub—it was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. If you’re looking to disconnect, recharge, and immerse yourself in nature without sacrificing comfort, this place is a must. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

We spent 5 nights at Maria’s and can’t say enough positive things. The cabin is clean & perfect for 2. The deck was relaxing and the back yard provided great pictures of monkeys, lizards, & Toucans!! Maria’s hospitality & amazing cooking was the best part. We felt like a part of the family & well taken care of. I felt secluded yet safe. I would definitely return to her farm. Side note, this is a farm so you will hear cows & roosters but that never bothered us.

If you are like me, always looking for views and sunsets don’t think twice! This comfortable little mountain home has by far the best views we have found so far in Monteverde. We usually head out at sunset time looking for a good spot but this stay we spent every evening watching the spectacular and ever changing panorama from our own front porch. Super comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Would like to add Waze will get you to the lower gate (search Casa del sol, Unnamed road). Just continue on the unpaved road and you will get there! Village is called Altos de Cebadilla.

La casa es increíble. La usamos para alojarnos durante nuestra boda realizada en San Gerardo. Es súper cerca y permite 2 cuartos amplios donde cada novio se puede alistar y el espacio es perfecto para fotografías pre y post boda. Nos encantó.

Una cabaña hermosa con una vista espectacular al río. Es de fácil acceso y tiene muchos espacios abiertos como ranchos y jardines que hacen que tu estadía sea muy agradable. Si bien la cabaña es pequeña, dormimos fantásticamente. Muchas gracias al anfitrión por ser tan atento y servicial. Esperamos volver pronto.

Wonderful Airbnb! Looked exactly like pictures and it was so pretty and peaceful. Was easy to find and felt safe. The only issue was the amount of little bugs everywhere. Everything else was clean. Would be helpful to have more than two towels for guests.

Magnifique petite maison tranquille. Le chemin en arrière de la maison est également magnifique et c’est parfait pour une petite marche pour apprécier la nature. Je reviendrai certainement ici !

Beautiful place! We could not have been happier with this cabin. Only thing I would say is make sure you turn right leaving here, because the road is difficult going the other way. It was very clean, safe, and a gorgeous location.

Wir waren nur 2 Nächte bei Miriam, aber es war toll. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sehr sauber und ordentlich. Nur die Chemischen Dufterfrischer die überall verteilt waren haben uns gestört. Nachdem wir diese entfernt hatten war es aber wirklich toll. Vor allem morgens draussen zu sitzen und der Natur zu lauschen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten rund um La Fortuna sind mit dem PKW schnell und einfach zu erreichen. Restaurants gibts im überfluss und Miriam hilft auch sehr gerne. Sie bietet auch an Touren günstiger zu vermitteln, was wir aber nicht in Anspruch genommen haben. Miriam ist sehr bemüht das man sich rundum wohl fühlt. Wir würden wieder bei Ihr übernachten.

Es un lugar muy bonito y tranquilo excepcional. Desde el momento de la reserva, la comunicación fue rápida y clara. El alojamiento era impecable y la ubicación perfecta. ¡Muy recomendable!".

We loved this little oasis. jacuzzi awesome. A/c worked great! Hot water and shower were great! Clean! Deck lovely. Bed very comfortable. WiFi was very spotty - hard to access internet readily. Reported to owners. They plan to check into it. I’d recommend a car with decent clearance - road is a bit rocky in parts to get to place However - can hear river, jungle noises, and private beautiful location Would HIGHLY recommend. Close to town La Fortuna ( 5-7 min drive into town,).Can walk to some very good restaurants in neighborhood ! Can walk to coffee shop and convenient store if needed. Close to El Salto, too - fun rope swing into river ! Thanks Tati & John !
