Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Sami

Great home! It is located close to the city of Argostoli and has amazing views to the harbor. We had a lovely time at Anesis and would definitely recommend staying here. The check-in and check-out process were smooth and fast. The house was in great condition with new furniture and very clean. The provided amenities such as the washing machine and fully equiped kitched made our stay even better. We were pleasantly surprised to find the fridge stocked with a few bottles of water, juice and even a nice bottle of wine. There were also cookies and biscuits along with jam left for us! Marinos and Maria were super helpful and gave us some recommendations on the beaches to visit as well as some restaurants in the area.

Incredible place so nice and peaceful. A nice short walk into Lixouri. Theo was a great host and always contactable. We’ll 100% be booking to come back!

La casa è ordinata e ben tenuta, con un bel patio/giardino con vista mare in lontananza. Mark e la sua famiglia sono sempre gentili, disponibili, e provvedono alla manutenzione quotidiana della proprietà. La sostituzione degli asciugamani è molto frequente; così come la pulizia della casa, che, dopo la terza notte, è stata pulita in modo più approfondito. Nostra figlia ha potuto trascorrere ore felici con alcuni gattini presenti nella proprietà, ed è stata anche coinvolta nella loro cura dal padre di Mark, che, non di rado, ci ha fatto omaggio di alcuni fichi e mandorle del giardino. Per chi intende vivere la casa non solo come un appoggio per la colazione ed il riposo, suggeriremmo una sedia a sdraio nel patio.

Anna’s place was exactly as described, the bed was very comfortable and the linen and towels provided were of a high standard. The kitchen is fine, no microwave but that was no problem for us. The owners were friendly and helpful, they left us supplies in the fridge on our arrival and dropped off some orange juice & pastries one morning. The AC works well, the bathroom is excellent, the shower is superb, with a wonderful view if you open the window at head height. The road outside is too tight to park outside but there was always room 50 yards down the road so not a problem. Lastly there was a beautiful cat that visited every morning & evening, she always sat on the doormat and never went indoors, we named her Tinker as she has a bell around her neck, we found her adorable, on our last evening we walked down the slope in front of the property and found her with her 3 kittens, they were shy, Tinks let us give her one last stroke to say goodbye, please buy her some food, it’s very cheap

As we arrived in the dark, Konstantinos waited at the airport to guide us to the apartment. We got many local recommendations. We stayed for a week and had the possibility to get our lines changed halfway through our stay if necessary. The apartment had everything needed and was close to some beaches and restaurants by car. All in all, he went out of his way to make our stay perfect.

L'alloggio , vicinissimo all'aeroporto e a varie spiagge , era pulitissimo e carino . Per arrivarci bisogna percorrere una strada sterrata , facilmente accessibile da più parti . Eravamo in campagna pur essendo vicinissimi all'aeroporto e alle spiagge . Consigliato avere un'auto per spostarsi . Le varie persone che alloggiano negli appartamenti lasciano molti prodotti ( olio , zucchero caffe detersivi eccc ) pertanto prima di fare acquisti verificare cosa c'e' in casa . Comodissima la lavanderia sotto l'appartamento utilizzabile a nostro piacere . La signora e' molto gentile e per niente invadente . Ci siamo trovati con l'auto con la batteria scarica e la signora ha provveduto a risolvere il problema . Consigliamo questo alloggio

Πολύ ωραία τοποθεσία, έξω από το Ληξούρι, με υπέροχη θέα και όλες τις ανέσεις! Σημαντικό πως υπήρχε πάρκινγκ μέσα στο χώρο δίπλα ακριβώς στο δωμάτιο! Ο Νεόφυτος και η μητέρα του Νταϊάνα ήταν εξαιρετικοί πολυ φιλόξενοι και χαμογελαστοί πρόθυμοι να μας βοηθήσουν σε ότι χρειαστεί! Μας περίμεναν φρέσκα αυγά στο ψυγείο, κρασί, φρούτα και νερό! τι άλλο να ζητήσεις! Ευχαριστούμε για όλα!

An exceptional place to stay at in the humble and authentic village of Makryotika and Matoula was an incredible host who was exceptionally helpful and responsive. The location of this beautifully kept accomodation that had everything you would ever need, is perfect for visiting the delights of the Northern part of the island especially Myrtos, Agia Efimia and Assos and Fiskardo. Equally easy to get to Argostoly and the airport.

We had a wonderful week in George's villa, starting with a warm welcome from his lovely mum who showed us around. We were then left in peace for the rest of the trip, although George always responded quickly when we sent him questions. The villa is even nicer than the pictures, great AC and plenty of towels. It is atop a hill, with no other villas or roads close by, so you're not overlooked and the view is breathtaking. We didn't hear traffic noise or even dogs barking at night, you feel tucked away in your own private space. The pool is perfect, and stays really clean thanks to the infinity design. The loungers are comfy with the grapevine shade. We used the outdoor BBQ and sat out on the terrace every day, though if you're eating outside you will attract some flies. The location is rural, so there were lots of bugs outside and occasionally inside - not a problem, but something to be aware of and bring insect repellent! There are screens on doors and windows to keep them out.

Ho soggiornato 2 settimane, è una casa incantevole, con ogni confort, e tante anche inaspettate! È un alloggio accogliente , sembra davvero di essere a casa propria. La parte esterna è, secondo me, il cuore di tutto l'appartamento: ampio, comodo, con un divanetto , sedie e tavolini da esterno ed un divano che all occorrenza è un vero e proprio letto....la sera, solitamente ventilata è il posto ideale per rilassarsi dopo una giornata in giro per le spiagge della splendida Cefalonia. La casa è situata in un posto strategico della piccola Poros, tutto è a portata di mano, dalle spiagge, ai ristorantini, al centro.È un posto che mi è piaciuto davvero tanto! Vana è un host gentile, premurosa e presente, pronta a soddisfare e a risolvere nell' immediato qualsiasi dubbio o richiesta. Lo consiglierei a chiunque volesse trascorrere le vacanze in un ambiente al top!

Uno dei migliori e puliti posti dove abbiamo dormito in Grecia. Casa veramente arredata con gusto. Sembra di essere a casa propria. Host formidabile. Un piacere stare in una casa cosi curata

We relished our stay at Dimitris‘ and Ioannas place enormously. It is romantic and easily the most beautiful old house in Poros. Close by the water one can see and hear the sea constantly. In addition we were made to feel welcome and at home instantly.

Over all, I would highly recommend staying here. There are, however, a few things to be aware of. 1. The walk to the house is up pretty steep set of stairs. This is nothing major, but some may struggle, especially if they’re carrying heavy luggage. 2. The people outside around the house are quite noisy at night. Surprisingly so. We weren’t overly bothered by it, and it did seem to die down on the second night (our first night was a Saturday, so I guess that goes with the territory). 3. The host asks that the hot water breaker be left off until 30 minutes before you want to shower, after which it should be turned off again. This is obviously a bit inconvenient if you’ve been out and about all day and would like to shower then get right to bed. All that being said, this place is 100% worth booking. The setting is fantastic and the host is very nice.

Serh schönes modernes und super komfortables Haus, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und pefekt in Ordnung und blitzsauber. Die Gastgeberin, Maria ist Architektin und hat alles selbst geplant und gebaut und mit viel Geschmack, Können und ganz liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Grundstück ist riesig, schöne Terasse mit Hollywoodschaukel auf der man sogar schlafen könnte.

Eu si iubitul meu am avut o sedere foarte buna si frumoasa. Ne-a placut mult, atat insula cat si casa, foarte intima si utilata cu tot ce este nevoie. Am inchiriat un scuter si ajungeam foarte rapid in centru si la magazine. Cel mai mult ne-a placut cum casa era atat de aranjata, atat arhitectural cat si estetic. Singura chestie in locuinta ar fi faptul ca patul era mult prea moale fata de cum suntem noi obisnuiti, caci noi dormim pe un pat semi-moale este mult mai potrivit pentru coloana/corp ( ceea ce a provocat dureri de spate) si uneori gaseam prin casa gandaci de bucatarie, ceea ce ne stresa, caci trebuia sa ii omoram. In rest a fost super!

Η Βασιλικη ηταν πολυ καλη οικοδεσποινα και το σπιτι ηταν πολυ καθαρο.

great view, beautiful garden with BBQ, private parking, air-conditioning in all rooms (though we never used them cause it always had a nice breeze). Dionysis was a great host and the place overlooks the bay, and it's 5mins from Argostoli town.

We had a lovely stay in Dimitris' apartment for 10 nights. The view from the balcony was amazing and we spent many hours enjoying it. There are 4 balconies, two of them with seaside view and the other two with mountain view. The 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms were ideal for us, 4 adults, and the apartment was very well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher (we didn't use it ) , which were welcomed additions! The 2 dogs living there are friendly ! Apart from the stunning views (from all the balconies), the apartment is ideally situated in Sami slightly away from the center of the town but only a few minutes' walk from tavernas, bars, shops and local beaches. In our opinion, Sami is a good base to explore the island and we done 700 km by our car to see the most beautiful beaches of the island. Dimitris is a very nice host who gave us a lot of information by phone and his relatives are very kind and helpful. We liked the apartment very much (especially the stunning view of Sami from the balconies, it will miss it !!!) and the island. We would definitely like to return one day.

The place is magic, beautiful nature surrounding the apartments. Stravos put all the care of the world to make you feel home. The pool is really good as well and the location is convenient. We hope to come back to soon, thanks Stravos!!

We stayed for the night after a late flight arriving to the island. This place was perfect and I genuinely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for a stay similar to ours or for an entire holiday. The room was spotless, quiet and the shower was hot and powerful (this is a must for us), and check in flexible and easy. The host was also very friendly. Would recommend!

Had a wonderful few days at the end of october here, the weather was warm and the location for the many beaches in the area is amazing - as is the view! The place is a little tired but perfectly comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. Sara the cleaner was on hand regularly during our stay as well. Would definitely recommend.
