House vacation rentals in Samal Island

First of all, the host was very friendly, accommodating, and understanding. Also straight to the point when comes instructions. For the house, beyond what we expected, clean kitchen with complete utensils, great living room, spacious dinning area, comfortable beds (with available extra mattress), clean bathroom. The neighbourhood was peaceful and secure. Just a little bit of hassle coming in and out from the Subdivision specially if you don't have car, but walking will do. All in all, we had a great and comfortable stay. and by the way the caretaker was very friendly and responsive also.

This was my first time booking on Airbnb, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Clarity Chaire’s space was simply wonderful. The accommodation was exactly as described, and everything was spotless and well-organized. Me and my friends were thoroughly impressed with the comfort and amenities provided. We had a pleasant holiday in Joan's house. The apartment is very nice, the kitchenette equipped with pots and appliances. The larger bedroom is very spacious, bright and quiet. The view from the balcony is very beautiful, you can see the sea which is not very far away and beautiful tropical vegetation. The swimming pool is not very large but is perfect for spending pleasant and refreshing moments. Joan, our host, is very nice and above all very helpful and attentive to the needs of her guests. We will definitely return to Samal to Joan's house.

If you’re looking for a private pool on Samal island, this is the perfect place! Clean and spacious, it can nicely fit 10 people and matched greatly the Airbnb description. Federico was also very responsive and great host. Nearest restaurant is probably 800 meters away and closes at 8pm so best to bring your own food if you don’t have your own transportation on the island. Overall it was a relaxing stay!

Ms. Rhea was extremely considerate, responsive, and accommodating. Same can be said to Kuya Weng, a reliable caretaker who was always nearby and helping us with our requests. This made our group's stay very pleasant and smooth. Just some highlights to mention: - The home itself is lovely, clean, and well maintained. - There are ACs in every room, including the sala, which made our stay very cool and comfortable even with this summer heat - You can also do your laundry for a small fee per load, convenient for longer stays. - As for getting around, Grabs were very easy to book within the area and the place is only 8 minutes from the airport. - Kuya Weng is a MVP, assisting us throughout our stay Based on our experience, I highly recommend this place for big groups! We really enjoyed our stay in Davao :)

We had such a great time at Mansud Shores Beach Resort! The whole place was exclusive to us, which made the experience super relaxing and fun. It felt like our own little private escape. The view of the beach was beautiful, and while you do have to go down quite a few steps (around a hundred!) to get to the shore, it’s totally worth it—especially for snorkeling. The pool was also a nice spot to chill, and since it was just us at the resort, we were able to do our own thing comfortably. We had some group games and activities, and the privacy made it feel extra special. Shoutout to the caretakers too—they were very kind and always ready to help if we needed anything. Overall, if you're looking for a peaceful, private place to unwind and have fun with your group, this is definitely a great pick!

We absolutely loved our stay here—even though the place is huge for just nine of us! There were so many rooms to choose from, and we especially appreciated the spacious living room and the three air-conditioning units. We didn’t feel the heat outside at all—so comfy! The space is really generous. If there were a pool, it would’ve been the perfect stay. The location is super accessible to everything. We definitely recommend staying here!

Very nice and clean house. Close to a big SM Mall and also a main road where you can find different markets selling meats, fruits and vegetables, along with little stores, a laundromat, etc. It’s not in a sub-division but still quiet and peaceful outside as it’s not so close to the main road where you will hear any of its noise (I also don’t recall much dog barking or early morning rooster noise). The host Norma was also so nice and pleasant.

Grace's Airbnb was really, really nice. The house exceeded my expections and was better in person than in the listing. Super clean and clutter free, the house also had secure parking in a safe neighborhood. Easy to find. Host was standing by upon arrival to make sure we had a smooth check-in and had everything we needed The host was friendly and responsive to our requests. Highly recommended. I would gladly stay here again.

it's our 2nd time here in this cozy house,they have there own solar panels Incase there's a sudden brown out. Very accommodating and responsive as well .

We booked at 7pm and still they were able to manage to accommodate us. We enjoyed our stay in their unit. I loved staying with Mrs. Faye. The place was very clean and the apartment was very spacious and big. We never ran into any problems with the apartment. The air conditioning, electricity, WiFi and tv all worked perfectly and she also gave us fruit upon arriving! I will 100 percent stay with Mrs. Faye again and would recommend her place to anyone! Amacan House is the perfect staycation spot in Samal. The place is clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything you need. It has a cozy, homey vibe that makes you want to stay even longer. The hosts, Dianne and Joemer, are fantastic—so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They respond promptly to any queries and even went above and beyond as tour guides, showing us the hidden gems of Samal. There's so much to explore—it was truly an amazing experience! Thank you, Dianne and Joemer, for making our stay so memorable. We’ll definitely choose Amacan House again on our next visit. This was our second time staying in one of their listed homes, and just like before, it didn’t disappoint! It’s a great place for a barkada getaway or a small party, with a spacious and chill vibe that makes it easy to enjoy. However, we did notice that the cleanliness wasn’t up to par this time. The house didn’t seem as well-maintained, and we were greeted by some cockroaches and a bit of a foul smell upon arrival. Thankfully, the host was very responsive and accommodating, quickly providing us with Baygon spray and an air freshener to freshen up the space. Despite this minor setback, we still had a great time during our two-night stay. The overall experience was fun, and we’d still consider coming back. Hopefully, maintenance improves, but we’d still recommend this place to friends looking for a laid-back stay!

The place has great amenities and the kitchen is well equipped. The hosts were very responsive and would helped me explore Davao city and made my trip a memorable, safe and enjoyable experience. I hope coming back in the future!

Although we only stayed for 1 night, the location is good. It is near SM City Davao and there are restaurants within the area. The host is very responsive; communication is very easy. The place could accommodate a large group of people. AC units were functioning. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

They prepared the pool before we came in. We left our bag because we forgot it but was grateful for vino for reaching out asap. Just want to add that the fan in the living room is not enough, it’s hot when we got inside. But overall, it was an awesome experience!!
