There is a gas station, Dollar General, and restaurants 5 minutes away. It is a central location: 10 minutes from the town of Saluda, 10 minutes from Batesburg, 20 minutes from Newberry, and 20 minutes from Lexington.

Our simple, unique (octagonal) cottage is ready for you to enjoy as you take in the serenity of Lake Murray! Have a meal on the spacious deck, go swimming/fishing from the dock, or just relax and observe the many fish, turtles and birds that live in this quiet cove. Our boat is on one side of the dock, and you’re welcome to use the other side for yours. There is a public boat ramp less than a mile away. Siesta Cove is the next cove over and has a general store and gas pumps for your boat.

On Lake Time

We had our granddaughter, her husband and two great grands plus my grandson, my husband and myself. We all had the best time ever. Other family visited including the bride and groom. We played games on the big back porch, played in the lake, kayaked! It was wonderful and we will always treasure the memories. Your lace was a huge blessing to all of us.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage on Lake Murray. Host Sheri was gracious, kind, and very attentive—she made sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. The cottage itself is quaint and extremely clean, with a well-stocked kitchen that made meal prep easy and enjoyable. We loved the peaceful, secluded location—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor space was a highlight, with a hammock and chairs to unwind in and a lovely screened-in porch that was ideal for quiet evenings. The dock was perfect for fishing and enjoying the lake views. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unplug and recharge in a serene lakeside setting.
