Beautiful secluded house, quiet and good connection by public transport

Thank you again, Eva and Peter, for this lovely stay in your charming cottage. We had a really wonderful time and truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the place. The cabin is beautifully designed — you really thought of everything, and it was a true pleasure to stay there. Thank you as well for your warm welcome, your responsiveness, and for allowing us to check in a little earlier — it made everything even more comfortable. Jenny’s cabin is on such gorgeous land. It was spring and the birds were nesting, the fruit trees were in bloom, the fiddlehead ferns were just coming out. It was so fun to ride bikes on the roads around her cabin. We even did the 10 kilometer walk around the island called Gula Vindövarvet. It was beautiful and so delightful to see all the neighbors walking their dogs and working in their yards. Very friendly. If you do this long walk, it’s easier to see the trail markers if you head clockwise out of Jenny’s driveway. The cabin is charming and tucked away from the rest of the property.

Thomas’ stuga is the perfect hidden gem in the forrest- not too far from Stockholm by car (<1h) but already feeling like a retreat and cosy archipelago atmosphere. Big fan of the sauna and piano and all the different outdoors areas to enjoy barbecue. Felt like staying at a friends’ place for the weekend. Will definitely be back in the future. Tusen tack Thomas!
