What an amazing private getaway. Michel was so great and hospitable and very helpful in helping us with connecting flights and overall communication. Vincent the chef was amazing..his dishes each night were so delicious. Just an overall great experience and great vacation. I highly recommend this Airbnb. Absolutely incredible stay! The villa in Bocas del Toro was everything we dreamed of and more. Captain Eric was a true gem—always making sure we had a boat ready whenever and wherever we wanted to go. His local knowledge and friendly vibe made every outing seamless and fun. The chefs were outstanding, treating us to delicious breakfasts each morning that started our days off perfectly. Between the stunning views, top-notch service, and warm hospitality, this place is a slice of paradise. Five stars all the way!

We loved this apartment at Palmar. We really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the thoughtful amenities, including a kitchen which we used quite a bit. Note that the resort is in a remote place, so you need to bring anything you want to cook in with you. And the restaurant on the property was also great and able to deliver to the apartment, which was nice. We traveled with two kids ages 9 and 12 - I wouldn’t recommend taking kids younger than 8, or people who have trouble with lots of hiking or stairs (the apartment is on a second floor and requires a 10 minute walk from the dock to the reception).

It was wonderful to meet Casa Cacao and Meiv and Vladi. Very exceptional people. The stay exceeded all our expectations. We regret not having had more time to stay. We recommend taking the chocolate tour, it was very informative, a valuable experience, we tried varieties of cocoa fruit from its tree and learned the whole process of making chocolate. Very grateful to Vladi and Meiv for the kindness of taking us to the road. We wish you success and will be back.

The Jungle House at Playa Bluff was a great getaway destination for our 2 families, with 4 adults and 6 children, ages 4-11. The pool was great and the sleeping arrangements worked well for us. There is a decent kitchen, but we mostly ate at nearby restaurants or on our daily adventures. The house is about a 25 min taxi ride from the main town and the road can get soupy, but any of the truck taxis can easily get to the house. The beach is stunning, although not great for swimming with rip tides and currents. The host was super responsive to all questions and I would highly recommend this house. We even saw sloths and monkeys right around the house.
