Adorable stone house in historic village.

This idyllic French stone house can sleep up to five people. It has two bedrooms, a large living room with a woodburner, a fitted kitchen with a large dining table and two shower rooms, one on each floor. The rear bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the garden with a ruined abbey and the Charentaise countryside beyond. Outside there's a summer kitchen, a small terrace and a lawned garden. The village has a delightful cake shop, a popular restaurant, artisanal stores and a museum.

Enjoy nearby Chef-Boutonne and beyond, with everything you need for a memorable family stay. During the cooler months (January–May and October–December), firewood is provided for the log burner; additional wood can be purchased if needed. Electric wall heaters: We include an allowance of 15 kWh per day usage . Usage above this will be charged at €0.1481 per kWh.
