We had the best weekend staying in Amanada’s house celebrating a birthday it was beautiful. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos & my 2 year old loved looking out to sea every morning seeing the birds. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ☺️ one bonus for families thinking of booking that I did not see prior to our stay is the stairgate at the top of the stairs to the kitchen it was perfect with 2 young children we could shut this off.

Wonderful location and comfortable, well designed home. A little village out on its own with so much character and some great walks which are medium hard but good distances either way - to the left in the next village the Cricket Inn is delicious food and friendly staff - to the right a lighthouse. The views and beach really make this place… as well as being a close drive to Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house being is well stocked, stylish and comfortable so makes for easy living. We were a family of 7 and a dog and would highly recommend it. We did a Sainsbury’s food delivery to the house twice to make getting groceries easy and that worked perfectly too.

Dear Andrew and Wendy, thanks for the lovely time we had staying at The Studio - It was perfect and very clean with every need thought about so we wanted for nothing! It was fun to meet Harvey and Buddy too. Had great sleeps after long days out as it was so tranquil. Would not hesitate to book again if in the area. We enjoyed visiting Bantham Beach, the Salcombe area and Overbecks Gardens (parking at East Soar and walking). Also ate lunch at Outside just along the road which is a very cool place. We (2 people & our Labrador) really enjoyed our short stay at The Annex. It is well equipped and in a great position for either walking or short drives to locations like Bigbury- on-Sea or Salcombe. Susie and John were both very friendly (as was Meg their resident dog!) and helpful. We would happily come back for another break - thanks!

Loved this cosy house, in an absolutely spanking part of Salcombe. I've been coming here for best part of 35+ years and this location is second to none right in-between north and south sands (the brilliance of this cannot be underplayed). the ground floor is the perfect place for tweens to hang and the views from the garden are glorious even when the weather is bad! thank you too to Annie and her team for being perfect and responsive hosts - you were great! We'll be back ...

Thank you so much for an amazing stay. The barn was beautiful and spacious and perfect for socialising with friends or family. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, our only gripe was that we wish we had booked longer!!

Great communications from the host with some suggestions for walks/ days out and also responsive to queries. The accommodation itself is lovely and as per the photos. The real gem is the lovely waterfront view, especially enjoyed in the late afternoon sunshine. We liked Calstock and enjoyed the walk around the wetlands and to Cotehele and back and the mobile Pizza on Wednesday evenings is to be recommended. The Calstock ferry had just restarted and this would also be a nice way to head up to Cotehele and back once the schedule is fully established. Provisions need to be brought in from outside the village though, we found the Asda Express near Gunnislake pretty good for that.

We had a fabulous stay in this gorgeous old Victorian House overlooking Salcombe Harbour. The house was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We loved the beaches and cliff walks nearby and would definitely love to revisit.

We had booked in for a very short stay of only two nights but we wish it had been longer, much longer. We cannot fault The Signal Box; everything to make a stay pleasant, convenient and enjoyable had been thought of. The exceptional view, the history of Luckett Station, the friendly sheep, the hot-tub, the superbly comfortable bed - all combined to make this an experience that we will remember for a long time to come. The entire property was beautifully kept, with immaculate gardens and a very high standard inside. The instructions for access on arrival to the property were clear and easy to follow and the business is obviously very well run. Definitely worth recommending to others and a return visit. Thank you for having us.

This is a very special spot. The farm is made up of the main house and several beautifully converted stone barns with generous balconies overlooking a stunning field and river. They are beautifully decorated, very comfortable and homely spaces that show the real care and thought of the owners who have done all the work themselves. The pool is amazing, with rotating 2 hour slots given to each barn every day. We would love to stay again and would recommend it to friends and family in a heartbeat.

We had an amazing stay at Lesley’s. I wish we could have stayed longer. There was so much to do in the local areas. The caravan was spot on, lovely and clean and we were very grateful for the little hamper and milk when we arrived. Everything was clean and tidy and we particularly loved all the fleecy blankets for that extra cosy touch. Thank you Lesley. Would 100% recommend and stay again

My friends and I stayed at Louise’s place for a long weekend, and it was a wonderful time. The house fit 11 adults no problem. Lovely and quiet, the pool was so much fun, and we made good use of the fire pit to have s’mores. Harry gave us a tour of the dairy farm & beehives, & let us see the calves which was lovely. Louise was a fab host, very good communicator and always at hand if needed. Great stay overall!

Yet again we had a fantastic break in this great holiday home. This is our third visit and ready to book again for next year (if they will have us ) lol. Keep up the great job in hosting that you both do so well, and thanks again Ted.

A great house for a family birthday celebration . The open plan living area with huge windows was perfect . Quite a hill to walk up from town but that is true of most houses in Salcombe!! We had a wonderful few days there over New Year

Great location, picturesque views, spacious living room and kitchen with all appliances, we also enjoyed sunny weather in the decking area. Good value for money. Overall, very pleased with the stay.

My family and I had an amazing week long stay to celebrate my 30th birthday. We were a party of six adults and two dogs and there was plenty of space for us. The house had everything we needed and location was brilliant with gorgeous views across the river and lots to do nearby. Highly recommend getting the boat over to National Trust Greenway (opposite the house) and visiting Dartmouth (you can get the ferry or drive) and Totnes - particularly the market on a Friday and Saturday. We also recommend: The Ferry Boat Inn for pizza and Thursday night quiz, Sandridge Barton wine tours (for the adults), Pennywell Farm (for kids or animal lovers), Seahorse restaurant, Rockfish, Sportsman (great carvery) and Watermans Arms. We had such a lovely week and were torn between wanting to spend all our time at the house and exploring the area as there was so much to see and do. The pool made it extra special especially with the weather. We would love to come back again and truly had the best time!

We visited Salcombe with our good friends and neighbours for the two men to celebrate a significant birthday this year. Sophie's cottage was perfectly located for the activities we had in mind with a fantastic outlook over the estuary and very close to shops, bars and restaurants. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable.

Lovely house in the centre of Salcombe with great views over the rooftops; Charlotte was great and we had beautiful weather for walking the south west coastal path.

We had a wonderful stay at Talland Cliff side beach house, we stayed for two nights with our two children and Labrador, the property was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus a few extra touches that added to our enjoyment, the family games and the hammock were a favourite for the children and sauna was an added luxury for us :) but without a doubt sitting on the decking and watching the sea was the most relaxing and wonderful thing for us to do! The beach is 5 minutes walk down the cliff side not too difficult but the climb back up may take a little longer but absolutely worth it for the trip down to the beach, there are a couple of coastal paths within a couple of miles of the property and a couple of small eateries close by for lunch with a view. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had the most amazing week with our 4 boys at The Old Guard in May. We have been renting various properties in Hope Cove for many years. Wendy's property is now our absolute favourite!! Not only did we have fabulous weather but the location is just perfect for getting out on the kayaks etc The warm outdoor shower is brilliant for when you get back! The balcony is very large and a great space! The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunsets incredible. The kitchen had everything you need. They utility area with washer and dryer is very useful staying with a family. The property was really well designed & clean and comfortable to stay in. Wendy had said the parking would be tight, but we got our 2 vehicles in no problem just a bit of time to go back and forth and one is a long wheelbase Mercedes Vito! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again! Thank you Wendy for all your messages and prompt replies when we had any questions.

Really nice holiday cottage lovely views from the bedrooms quite roomy inside a little dated but not a issue , nice courtyard at the front a bit of a hill to walk up as most places in Salcombe but worth the walk House warm clean and comfortable even in December a little difficulty locating which property it was when we got there as trouble seeing the door numbers but overall 5 star

We had a great stay in Salcombe and the views from the house were great. The hill was a challenge but seemed to get easier each time we walked up it. The house met our needs perfectly and the kitchen had everything you could possibly want. Gail was very responsive to any message we sent and was very kind to let us in early because of the rain! Very clean, excellent outside seating space, a great location - very easy to walk into Salcombe. We had a very comfortable few days.
