Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sal

Mooi en zeer ruim appartement op een groot resort. Voor ons een goede keuze, gebruik van de faciliteiten van het resort maar voor het strand en lekker eten naar Santa Maria. Personeel op het resort is erg vriendelijk. Het achterste deel (Tui) waar het appartement is, is prima, de rest van heeft wel renovatie nodig. Appartement is zeer schoon, een uitgebreide keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt en een fijn bed. Communicatie verliep snel en soepel.

Great host and even better stay. Joao was very attentive and his place with two huge balconies and 3 big bedrooms was great. My guests were hesitant to stay in Espargos because Santa Maria is where is supposedly hip but I highly recommend Joao’s apartment in the heart of Esparagos. The local restaurants Joao recommended were also a great addition to our trip. Will definitely stay longer when I return to Sal.

Richard was an excellent host. He was flexible and accommodating, and we had a blast snorkeling with him in the little bay nearby. The place was exactly as advertised: comfortable, clean, and spacious. Thank you!

Très bon séjour ! La maison est spacieuse et bien équipée. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Les instructions pour l’arrivée sont claires et permettent un self check-in et self check-out.

Wir waren zu fünft und haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Wenn man ein paar schöne Tage fern ab der vielen Touristen aus Santa Maria verbringen und ein wenig das einheimische Leben schnuppern mag, ist man bei Ralf gut aufgehoben. Wir waren durch Ralfs Empfehlungen zweimal köstlich essen und wurden mit allen Infos ausgestattet die man brauchte. Das Haus mit Pool war für unsere Tochter sowieso der Knüller! Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt. Wir haben eine nette Familie kennengelernt und das Gefühl, ein wenig vom einheimischen Flair der Menschen auf Sal mitbekommen zu haben. Danke für den Einblick

Myself and my friend stayed here for 9 days. We really enjoyed our stay. The complex is well equipped and also we felt very safe with the security there. Great location with easy access to the local town and beaches

Die Unterkunft hat für uns bestens gepasst. Die Villa ist sehr gut eingerichtet und grosszügig dimensioniert. Einen Mietwagen zu haben war für uns aber von Vorteil. Wayne und sein Stellvertreter José sind umsichtige und engagierte Gastgeber.

Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kids in Karen‘s Unterkunft zu Ostern eine Woche lang. Super Unterkunft, top Kommunikation und haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Lage direkt am Pool war für die Kids besonders gut. Der Strand ist nur 50m entfernt. Wir kommen wieder ;-)! Thanks for hosting us!

Het appartement was erg schoon en de locatie, aan het strand en dichtbij het centrum, was perfect! Een klein minpuntje was de kleine douche, maar voor de rest was het appartement heel ruim. De communicatie met Antony en Susana verliep vlot en duidelijk.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit bei Paolo. Die Wohnung war sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Ein Supermarkt ist direkt um die Ecke und der Strand ist auch nicht weit. Wir hatten die ganze Nacht und den gesamten Tag eine Security Person in dem wohnkomplex, die uns hat sicher fühlen lassen.

This apartment was perfectly located and well furnished. We enjoyed having access to the pool of the residence, and to be within walking distance of Santa Maria beach, the pier, and many restaurants as well as the main street. Carolina was there for our check-in and allowed us to do it a bit earlier than the scheduled time. She was super friendly and gave us lots of tips and info. She also helped us store our bags after check-out as we had an evening flight. Overall we were very happy and would definitely go back! Thanks again Carolina :-)

Simplesmente fantástico! O apartamento superou todas as nossas expectativas. A localização é perfeita — mesmo em cima da praia de Santa Maria, com vista deslumbrante e a apenas 5 minutos a pé do famoso pontão. O condomínio é muito tranquilo, bem cuidado e acolhedor. O apartamento estava impecável, decorado com muito bom gosto, bem equipado e cheio de pequenos detalhes que fizeram toda a diferença. A logística da chegada foi excelente — o sistema de cofre para as chaves é muito prático e seguro. O Michael foi um anfitrião 5 estrelas: sempre disponível, atencioso e cheio de boas dicas. Até tratou do táxi para nos ir buscar ao aeroporto! Tivemos um pequeno problema de barulho numa das noites, mas falámos com a segurança e foi imediatamente resolvido. Sentimo-nos sempre seguros e bem acompanhados. Destaco também o serviço de limpeza — ficámos 7 dias e o apartamento foi limpo, com troca de lençóis e até das toalhas Ficamos clientes sem dúvida,

Die Unterkunft war in einer schönen und ruhigen Lage am Rand von Santa Maria und in der Nähe der ION Surfstation. Die Räume waren geräumig, die Decken hoch und alle war funktional und ausreichend ausgestattet. Die Betten waren bequem und die Bettdecken und Kissen waren sauber und angenehm. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und alles war sauber. Die Terrasse war sehr schön und durch die Lage im Windschatten gelegen, so dass man den ganzen Tag draussen angenehm sitzen konnte. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Fenster hatten alle Fliegengitter und Fensterläden, man konnte sicher schlafen und es Insekten blieben draussen. Vicky war immer gut zu erreichen und hilfsbereit.

Adorei a estadia, vai de encontro a descrição. Anfitrião muito prestável e atencioso. A casa encontra-se muito bem equipada, e dispõem de pequenos bens essênciais para cozinhar, recomendo !

The accommodation is spacious and very clean. We felt right at home and super happy about the place, when we arrived. The appartment perfectly located. It is a quite neighborhood, therefore perfect to get a good night of peaceful sleep but also quite central ( 7 min) walking distance to the main square in Santa Maria, where all the bars and restaurants and the beach are located. The house is super responsive and very helpful. We had a great stay over all in the appartment. Thank you !

Fantastic apartment and location! Right on the beach, quiet area 5mins walk from the walking streets. Everything you need and more. Little tip, moka pot is provided but bring your own espresso, different style of coffee on the islands, very good too. Carla is great, always available and open to suggestions, perfect host. Cozy apartment in walking distance to the city center. In this apartment u are guarantueed a good night sleep. As it is located in a quiet area outside the city senter. Check in is super easy. We were met by Alexandre’s parents. They are super friendly and helpfull.

Nice and clean apt. Close to 2 pools. Good resturants close by. We did not have remotecontrol for the aircondition, but this was fixed in a day or two. We would like to come back in the future.

Ruim appartement op de bovenste (2e) verdieping bereiken via trappen. Toegang tot 3 balkons: - 1 met schuifpui en uitzicht op zwembad en zee met een zitje met 2 stoelen staat en waar we ‘s ochtends al in het zonnetje konden ontbijten - 1 met schuifpui aan straatzijde met droogrek en wasknijpers - 1 groot balkon met 2 ligbedden en 2 bankjes aan de zijde waar je het appartement betreedt. De schuifpuien en het kiepraam van de badkamer zijn allemaal van goede horren voorzien. In de keuken is een theedoek, handdoek, schuursponsje en vaatwasmiddel aanwezig. Een vaatdoekje hadden we zelf meegebracht. Daarnaast is er per persoon 1 grote en 1 kleine handdoek aanwezig en 1 strandlaken. Bij ons verblijf van 7 nachten werden deze na 4 nachten verwisseld en het bed verschoond. Ook werd de fles water die bij aankomst in de koelkast lag, op prijs gesteld en de 4 klemmen om de strandlakens mee vast te zetten. Paola geeft veel tips en regelt op verzoek een taxi vanaf het vliegveld voor €20.
