Vacation rentals with a patio in Sal

The apartment is located on the outer edge of the city and near the sea. A recently started construction can diminish the now still stunning ocean view from the patio where we spent a lot of time. The closeness to the sea and most of the view with sea noise will still be left when the house is ready eventually. Unusually comfortable beds.

Very lovely stay in a spacious two bed room apartment in the Centre of Santa Maria. Conveniently close to all shops, restaurants, night clubs and beaches. The locals are magnificent and so friendly and helpful. I tended to spend my time walking along the magnificent beaches and eating the local cuisine. The apartment is perfect to explore and the environment, although buzzing with lively live music is warm and inviting. A big shout out to Zeleica who was extremely helpful. Will definitely visit again soon.

Nice appartement, closed to the center of Santa Maria with restaurants, bars, shops etc. Cool roof top with a swimming pool ( was under rénovation during our stay) with nice view to watch the sunset for exemple. Thank you

This was an absolutely perfect stay! Even though this is not right in the centre of Santa Maria, it's only a 10 minute (or less) walk away from everything which made it super convenient. The beautiful beach right on your doorstep is also such a plus. The hosts were very kind, friendly and even helped us arrange taxis when needed! I would definitely stay here again.

Susana was a very nice host and took care of everything from arranging airport transfers to giving detailed restaurant recommendations. The apartment is close to the beach (5min), the main strip (2min), Mini Supoermarket(seconds) and local restaurants(minutes). The rooms are clean with air conditioning in the master bedroom and living room. The kitchen was very well equipped and there is also a washing machine.

In my opinion, the place is the perfect place for those who want it cozy and quiet, and yet want to have everything at their doorstep. The shopping street with numerous restaurants is a few meters from the property and you have both a pool and a beautiful beach section directly in the complex. The further you walk along the beach, the more extensive the beach becomes. The place is clean, tidy and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The description and photos correspond to reality. Although you don't have a sea view, you can watch the quiet hustle and bustle in the street and pay a little less in comparison. The complex is safe and just right for those who don't want to be in a huge all-inclusive complex. In the kitchen you can cook something wonderful if you don't want to resort to the inexpensive food in the restaurants. The hostess was very attentive!

We felt at home . The apartment is very comfortable, the house has everything necessary to enjoy a very pleasant vacation. Huge balconies, good sofas , a good television, unlimited internet ( we paid extra to be unlimited , but it was worth it) , good WCs , all well arranged and super clean. Beds are good and comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen and safe inside the apartment. Maxine was very attentive to us and always available. The condominium has everything, supermarket, restaurant, good pool , 24-hour security, super calm and we count by clock we take a 7-minute walk to the best beach in Sal , the equally guarded bikini beach, with quality bars and entertainment of water activities. It's been 16 wonderful days and let's repeat it. Thank you Maxine.

Dennis and Brigitte's accommodation is a lovely place to stay, close to the beach, restaurant and shops of Santa Maria. Our 2 sons of 18 and 15 were able to sleep well in the 2nd bedroom, even though it is a limited (low) space. The complex has a lovely swimming pool and right behind it starts the beach. The Santa Maria pier is within walking distance. We had a top holiday, really recommended! Contact with Dennis is easy and quick, if you wish, he will arrange the transfers to and from the airport. Great host and even better stay. Joao was very attentive and his place with two huge balconies and 3 big bedrooms was great. My guests were hesitant to stay in Espargos because Santa Maria is where is supposedly hip but I highly recommend Joao’s apartment in the heart of Esparagos. The local restaurants Joao recommended were also a great addition to our trip. Will definitely stay longer when I return to Sal.

Richard was an excellent host. He was flexible and accommodating, and we had a blast snorkeling with him in the little bay nearby. The place was exactly as advertised: comfortable, clean, and spacious. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay. The Airbnb is right by the sea and restaurants are a 10-minute walk away. The view of the sea at sunset is breathtaking. Our host Peter welcomed and said goodbye to us very warmly, we felt very comfortable and can fully recommend Airbnb.

Sal is a beautiful island, but Patricia's place is actually what made it perfect for us. Murdeira Village really is the best area to stay if you like to feel you have the beach to yourself, a lovely clean pool ( 1 min from your door), handy restaurant and a stunning, untouched coast line to walk along. The homes in this area have been designed thoughtfully and very pleasant to view and pretty streets to walk through. Ponto Preta & Santa Maria easy to visit via taxi as is all the sights on the island. The other beaches have huge waves! But we really loved most is coming back 'home' to Patricia's place. Super clean and easy to keep clean, lots of amenities if you like to cook and there's a convinience store 2 min away in a safe neighborhood, friendly neighbours -highly recommend. x

Lovely address with everything needed, initial issue on first day which was promptly resolved. Edson was fast to response and very helpful and informative.

We enjoyed staying in Lorraine's apartment, being in the city and by the sea made it very easy for us to walk around day and night, enjoying the city vibes and at times sitting by the beach. it was nice finding drinking water, coffee, tea, sugar in the house. We were warmly welcomed by the manager, Stefan who took us round to see various restaurants and showed us where we could shop. He also helped us organize a tour to the island which was great. I would recommend Lorraine's house for your stay in Santa Maria.

The apartment is great and highly recommended. Ana has a good heart and everything was fantastically organized from arrival to accommodation. Communication was very quick and friendly, helpful.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Claudia's place to others, it was great! I stayed there as a solo female traveller and it was a perfect (albeit big!) space for my stay. From initially contacting Claudia to book to checking out, she was always very responsive and helpful. Claudia offered a transfer from/to the airport with Daniel at a very reasonable price and with Daniel also dealing with check-in/check-out for my booking it meant it was a v. smooth process- thanks again Daniel! The apartment itself was fairly clean (there was, like other reviews said, some rusty towel rails) & had everything that was listed on the advert. I didn't need to use the aircon which would have been an additional cost. It is walkable to Santa Maria (30 mins)/Ponta Preta (20 mins) & the pool area is lovely to spend the day if you don't want to venture far. I felt safe here by myself & it was handy that there was a shop close too. Would definitely recommend & enjoyed my stay-thanks again to Claudia & Daniel :)

Good location and great conditions. Hosts were very helpful on arrival and in solving minor issues during their stay. The house is a perfect option for those who want to escape the resorts and enjoy the island more locally.

Absolutely LOVED our stay - exceeded all our expectations. Mirian was the perfect host - very much appreciated the late check-out.
